Description of Work: I have an 'island' cabinet in the kitchen with storage compartments underneath/with three wooden doors. The doors were a mess - didn't stay closed, wrong color (didn't match the rest of the 'island')and the wood was starting to warp. We contacted Period Woodworking - he gave us a quote we were very pleased with. The new doors are now installed and they look GREAT! We are very pleased with his work.

+ -1 moreThe quality of their work was great. The last time we used them, we were disappointed. Their punctuality and communication were not good the last time. The first two times, those aspects were perfect. We have used them for cabinetry for the kitchen and bathrooms. The quality of the work was very good. The first two times, they were very punctual and on time. They had good communication. Last time, they weren't punctual, and the communication was poor. The quality of the work was still pretty good. Their price was fair. The guy was very professional.

+ 6 moreMike and his workers couldn't have been more courteous. They seemed as concerned with the quality of the work as much as we were. They cleaned up each day after finishing. I obtained 5 quotes and am glad I went with Mike. We trusted them enough to give them keys to our house while we were gone a week. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again
Description of Work: We gutted our kitchen including tearing down a wall that divided the dining room and kitchen and putting up a bar with prep sink. They tore out all old cabinets, stove top and built in oven and installed new stove with oven below and microwave above. The new cabinets are excellent, hand built with tongue and groove and dovetail joints. We also had them remove "popcorn" ceiling in kitchen, dining and living rooms and install new hard wood floors in all the rooms. They installed new lights in kitchen and dining room which required running new wiring. The prep sink required new plumbing.

+ 4 moreI have had people that were less then competent working in home before, but Mike's workers were like a breath of fresh air. They really gave me a feeling of being comfortable.
Description of Work: The crew that worked with Mike completely gutted my kitchen down to the drywall and replaced all of the appliances. They also rewired all of the kitchen lighting, installed a new ventilation system and put on 30 linear feet of custom cut, granite countertops.
