 + -1 moreFirst, you need to know that I had to apologize for my outburst of anger when, after taking measurements and talking at great length about the project, the Mr Handyman/Hendersonville rep took almost a half hour in his vehicle to come up with a almost $7,000 estimate for removing wallpaper, reinstalling new wallpaper and painting over the ceiling a a couple of areas of wall facings of a 12 x 12 foyer. This is almost twice the national average. We had told him that we would have the new wallpaper on hand for him, as well as the paint, but he started out telling us we would need to pay $500 for supplies. We did not get any further than that when I erupted. Also, he was not able to give us a thumbnail view of the entire estimate. And he would not let me talk to his supervisor to maybe get some answers (he had said he was going to his vehicle to make some calls, and that he had talked to his boss who was no longer available. Later in the day, in a text from Mr Handyman, I was informed that they very rarely do wallpaper projects of any kind. This was news to me, because that was the project explanation they were given, but they reached out to offer their services anyway. I have used Mr Handyman before, years ago, but I will not call them again.
Description of Work: We live in a townhouse. When you open the front door, you face 3 walls with really ugly wallpaper that was installed before we moved in (we are the third owners.) We want to remove this and install more pleasing wall coverings. The ceiling of the foyer and a couple of door frames are painted blue to go with the existing paper. We would like to paint these (we have the paint on hand.) Lastly, we want to carry the theme with new wallpaper in the area just off of the kitchen and leading out to the garage. The walls are already painted, so this requires simple wallpaper installation.

Rick was quick! He was able to price and complete a job in half a day. The original time was for the afternoon but he called and asked if stopping by earlier would be ok and he had the job wrapped up before lunch.
