+ -1 moreI requested a bid to replace my split heat pump. They provided a pomp response; however, they waffled on their price. I wanted a 2-stage compressor and a variable speed air handler. They gave me a written bid for system without these the requested features. When I asked for price for the type system I wanted, I was only given a verbal price of $5,600. Later by phone and e-mail I tried to pin down the specific equipment that would be installed which was difficult to get out of Mike. During this process, Mike informed me that I would have to also get a programmable thermostat that would cost me another $250.
