After they completed the job there was a visible hold in the roof. Rain came through the hole and damaged the house. After multiple calls, they never completed the repairs. We had to have another roofer finish the job. They also tried to charge us for removing a layer of shingles that was not on the roof. After we pointed this out and questioned them on it , they did not charge us for that.

These folks need to be in another line of work. The quality of the workmanship was terrible and only after repeated requests did they make an attempt to make it right. Still very unhappy with the management and the crew they sent to do the work. They left a mess and it took several weeks to get it straight. The roofing crew was Hispanic non-English speaking "gang" that did what they wanted regardless of their instructions. They delivered lesser materials that would have been on my roof if I hadn't checked it out. All in all it was a nightmare and still makes me uspset every time I look at my roof.

Work scheduled but never showed. Said it was because of the weather but it was clear and 77 degrees all day. Worker never showed. And they were actually trying to get a $5000 job in addition to this minor repair. If they will not show for this how can you expect them to show for critical repairs? The salesman will give you the great pitch and even tell you that they are a "Christian" company. That just goes to show you again if they have to tell you then they don't carry out the actions of doing unto others. This company is unprofessional and unreliable and I would not let them put a roof on a dog house!

We called Genesis out for a quote after finding some wind damage. Their estimate was lower than some --about the same as others. They were noted as a "preferred vendor" for our insurance company and had done a couple other roofs in the neighborhood. They came exactly when they said they would and finished the job in the period of time expected. No complaints!

Someone came to collect the money before they had even finished the job(we refused to pay at that point.)After the shingles were down,we paid & then realized they didn't put in the ridge vents we had agreed upon & paid for. At our insistence,they sent someone out to install the vents but upon later examination,we discovered the workers simply stuck the vent piece on the roof without cutting a hole through the roof underneath,thereby making the vents absolutely useless. We complained.Several times,when we contacted the company,they said they would send someone out to see about the vents,but they never did.Over a year later,the work is not done that we paid for & the company is completely unresponsive & shows no evidence that they care in the least whether we are happy or not or that they did not do the work properly.We will now have to go to the trouble & expense of taking them to court simply to get them to do the work. Definitely NOT recommended.

My overall experience with Genesis Roofing was very pleasant. They completed everything to my satisfaction. I would use them again and recommend them to others.

Genesis Roofing Company came in with a crew of 10 men to completely re-roof my property. They did an excellent job in a timely manner. They even came back to fix a couple of leaks. They were Johnny on the spot. They did the work at a fair price.

I will never hire or recommend Genesis for future jobs. The people doing the work are very slow and do not speak English. They took two weeks just to put the fascia up on the front of the home. They didn't even do the back of the house at the time.

Genesis Roofing Company did great work, but they lacked in professionalism. They actually broke our air conditioner, some windows, and fell through into a closet. They only fixed this after we threatened with a lawyer. I believe the issue was lack of supervision.

Genesis was very clean and picked up after themselves. We just had a little mix up on the time that they were supposed to be there. I would recommend them to others.
