Overall we are happy with the work done. One of the things that most impressed us is that our call was returned promptly and we received the promised quote promptly as well. This is in stark contrast to the other ( all A rated ) providers we called, many of whom either never bothered to return our initial call or send us the promised quote after reviewing the job. Work was done as agreed, no surprises.

They did a wonderful job! Looks like it has always been a part of our house and it is absolutely beautiful. We have already contacted them to do some other things for us. They are great people as well as professionals. We highly recommend this company.

They arrived on time and the total ended up being less than the quote.

I called Cross Driven to see if they were available on short notice. I had to leave town for a while, so the time frame was quite important. I explained my situation to them and Josh scheduled me as soon as possible. The leak to the house was isolated and repaired with care. I was kept advised as to his progress and he kept me advised as to his arrival. There were no surprises and the price charged was reasonable.

We had them several times for different items. They are working professionally. They did a great job. I would continue to call them with no problems. They came up with the idea to do it differently than I had envisioned and it worked great.

It took a while (about 6 weeks) for them to get to us because they are so busy. The estimated time to complete the project was 4 to 6 weeks. Their cost was not the lowest. It was in the middle of the other estimates we received, but we felt more comfortable with them. Once they got started, it took just short of 2 weeks to complete the project from beginning to end. The crew was very professional and punctual. They communicated when they would arrive the next day and always arrived on time. They worked continually all day long with only a break for lunch. We only experienced one minor issue, and it was just an accident and was not a big deal. We are very pleased with the finished result. We will use them again in the future if we have other renovations projects.

They came out and spent all day fixing a sunroom leak. Water backed up from the ice on roof, so he worked on the shingles. He worked over six hours and didn't charge me anything. He said he wanted to make sure the job was done right.

Scott came out and did an estimate. You can not be in a hurry. It took 5 weeks to get a time for an estimate. The scheduling of the work will also take weeks. Scott said if I was flexible , he would work me in when they had a day with no work scheduled. I am retired and home a lot so I am flexible . Scott did work me in on 12/23. That was fine. I was home preparing g for Christmas Eve. I stayed out of their way. The work was well done and the crew were very professional

Very good work. Scott worked with the insurance company which helped me a lot. The couple who repaired the bath rooms were very good. Did an excellent job and were real hard workers. The roof was repaired and looks good. I would definitely use this company again. Very professional and good workers. Knew their job well. I would recommend them.

They were very good. Kitchen looks like a new one. Workers were professional polite and pleasant to have in the house.

They were very nice. The guy came and we talked. He let me know when I would get the estimate and he sent it by mail. He followed up to be sure that I had received it. They responded to me when I called to set up the meeting. If it is a good experience, I will use them again but we haven't gotten that far yet.

Scott arrived on time and did the repairs/inspection. He went beyand the initial repair and inspected the interior eaves to correct a mistake found by a home inspector.

My husband and I just purchased a home, and had several projects we wanted to get estimates for that would be done in stages. Those included: kitchen and master bath remodel, guest shower remodel, crown installed in 2 bdr, siding on sun porch changed to stone, a pergola built off sun porch with access from sun porch, a closet built in our basement, as well as a few items are inspector noted, such as door jamb shimming, pressure reducer valve. As you can see several projects, but again, to be completed in stages with the MB and the items the home inspection revealed, and Cross Driven was the first company we contacted. Prior to our estimator arriving, the company called to confirm the appointment, which was awesome! That indicated to me that I was dealing with a company that valued our time, as well as theirs. They also accommodated my need to change the date, which I was appreciative. The estimator, Scott, arrived to our home on time, actually a few minutes early. Initially, I thought he was the guy from the real estate company coming to remove the lock box, lol. We've had major work done in the past at a previous residence, and sometimes you get people who don't take a lot of pride in the way they present themselves or their business, but not Scott. He introduced himself, had a brochure and biz card in hand, and was clean and dressed appropriately. He walked through with a pen and pad and noted all of the items we were looking to get an estimate for, and provided feedback. When completed, we were given a 72 hour window for when we would receive an estimate, which was awesome! We had a great feeling about Scott and the company, and this was definitely the bright side to an unsettling week and day. Unfortunately, I received an email the following day from Scott stating "I have had time to reflect upon and evaluate the work you need completed, our time frame and abilities and I am sorry to say that I do not feel that we would be the best match for the projects you need to have completed. Therefore we will forfeit any estimating of your projects. I was totally bummed... He didn't even want to bid/perform the smaller items from the inspection. Nonetheless, since many contractors know of others in the business, I asked for a referral, but he simply directed me back to Angie's. I do see that his company has a couple of specials running on Angie's currently. So, I can't help but to think that maybe he didn't want to work with us, which is his prerogative. With that said, I can't speak for his work, but we were impressed with the interaction we did have, and would have liked to have had the opportunity to get some things completed on our "to do" list. Unfortunately, Cross Driven was not the best match.

I waited a week for the estimator to get to my home, took the day off of work to make the appointment, and spent over an hour with him going through my home~which is in Franklin, part of their advertised work area. I made it clear that another contractor had given me an outrageous bid and I hoped Cross Driven would be reasonable. I did not give Mr. Hall a budget, nor did I tell him what the previous quote was, because my budget should not affect his cost. Two days later I received an email from Mr. Hall (which is posted at the end of my statement) stating that his company had decided not to give me a quote and that they would not be doing business with me. He stated that I was too far from his "base" (which is untrue according to their website) and then proceeded to tell me he probably couldn't get under my budget~which he had no idea of what that was. He then went on to suggest that I needed a handyman because his company operated at a much greater cost and responsibility level than a tradesman or handyman. I immediately responded asking him to explain his arbitrary dismissal of the work I needed done~work that he stated his company thrives on. Again I was told it was not a good fit...no further explanation. I have requested an explanation several more times and now there is no response at all from Mr.Hall or his company. Cross Driven's random and prejudicial picking and choosing of whom they will work with is unprofessional, and at the very least unethical. I am still at a loss as to what one has to do, or be, to be considered worthy of their services. "Mrs. Smith, I have had time since our meeting to evaluate your project and think through our conversation of what you need completed as I observed when I met with you for an estimate. I am looking at your project and I don?t think that our company would be the best equipped for you and the projects that you are wanting to have repaired and completed. Therefore I am respectfully declining your invitation to submit an estimate for your projects. I do appreciate Covenant Heating and Cooling referring us to you but with the distance from our base of operations and the scope of work, as a General Contractor, we would not be a good fit for your projects as our level of overhead would keep us from coming under your budget and providing and economical solution to your repairs you need completed.You have expressed to me a need for a lower price than the previous contractor. I am thinking you are likely more in need of a independent tradesman that specializes in tile work or possibly a skilled handyman. They would be much cheaper than we would be as a General Contractor. We operate at a much greater cost and responsibility level than a tradesman or handyman. It was a pleasure to meet and speak with you. Thank you for asking us out to your home. I wanted an estimate on roof repair and interior repair of water damage to ceiling. The first time they sent out an estimator that could only price the exterior work, rather than both. He was a nice guy and made a good first impression, but I didn't hear from them for a week and a half, I got the estimate for the roof, but they sent out the same guy as the first time, so he still couldn't estimate the interior work. They wasted my time further by taking measurements for the interior job, then never contacted me, it is about three weeks later now. I would never call them again, nor would I use them. they either lost my estimate twice, or just ignored it. if they didn't want the work, they should have just told me, and not wasted my time with two trips to my house. it wasn't trivial amount of work, my other estimates ranged from 5K-8K, so you would think the job was at least worth giving me a bid. Ultimately, it is their loss, we have estimates on an additional 35K+ in interior renovations, not including hardwood floors for the entire house. The two contractors we are using will end up with over 50K in work.

They were not as prompt getting us scheduled as we anticipated due to the weather and a backlog of jobs. They were very professional and did good work.

The estimator arrived on time and was very knowledgeable. He stayed quite a while as we discussed details of the project. A few days later, he sent me his estimate of the job. I had a few minor questions which he answered via email. Also in his email response he noted that they were running behind schedule and it could be quite some time before they could begin my job. I replied that the start time was not important and I didn't mind waiting at all. The estimate was reasonable and I was pleased with the company's rating and reviews on Angie's List. I emailed the estimator again with another minor question and did not receive a response. After three more attempts to reach the estimator, I, finally, emailed the owner of the company. He didn't respond either. Finally, I received a email response from the estimator telling me that they were simply too busy to do any work for me and that I needed to go find another contractor. It wasn't until after I contacted Angie's list and they posted my unfavorable remarks about the treatment I received from this provider that the owner phoned me. He tried to persuade me to change my review stating that an unfavorable review would negatively impact the company's overall rating. The owner also told me that he didn't feel like it was his company's responsibility to service everyone who asked for service. That sounded very strange since his company was running FIVE big deal adds at that point in time. It made no sense to me that a company would advertise so heavily yet not have the time to perform the work. Perhaps the owner's rudeness was really a blessing in disguise. Angie's List found another provider for me and the rates were much lower for the same job!

Great. The workers were prompt and courteous and finished the work in about 30 minutes.

This organization was recommended by a neighbor who had contracted them for a bathroom remodel and were very satisfied with the work done. They promptly responded to a request for a quote and provided a very reasonable estimate. The time frame originally quoted was two weeks which actually expanded into two months. By their admission, they underestimated the time it would take to complete the tile work. At one point, they had sent just one worker - a phone call to the owner prompted another person being sent, but that could have sent the project into a real tailspin. There were one or two instances where areas completed were unacceptable (trim in closet was pieced together with about 15 small scraps and tile had to be redone on one section of the shower stall so that the glass fit). Both were corrected satisfactorily and promptly. It didn't seem as though the communication between the company supplying the glass for the shower surround and the contractor was as good as it could have been and resulted in a portion of the delay. Overall, we were satisfied with the work done and would use this contractor again. However, a more realistic estimate for completion of project and better planning overall for the amount of person-power needed to complete the assignment would improve the experience. The primary people completing the work (Dustin, Warren) as well as the glass company rep (Daniel) were extremely professional, friendly and responsive. Brandon was also responsive when contacted about the small issues encountered. Overall, a very reliable, professional firm. Would use them again for household projects.

Our chimney cap is over 30 years old and it was time to replace it before leaking began. Cross Driven provided a competitive estimate. I confirmed the price with a friend who previously owned a roofing company. My friend confirmed the price was extremely competitive due to the amount of labor and material cost involved with the job. The folks at Cross Driven are very trustworthy and professional. This is the second time we have used them for large repairs on our home. I would highly recommend to friends or family.
