Fiberglass Pools of Knoxville

Description of Work: Came out to talk to us about the job, sounded professional. We agreed on a 14x24 pool 4' deep and a patio out to the pool with an attached drive past the front edge of the pool. He said it would be installed within a month. He wanted aprox 25% up front and another 50% at another stage of the completion with the balance due when the job was finished. We decided to have them do the job. The patio went relatively quick and we were pleased with the work. It all went down hill from there. The job took another 6 to 7 weeks to complete. We would not see them for days. Call and they would say they would be out the next AM. We would call at about 4PM to ask where they were and were assured they were coming. About 6PM they would show and do a couple of hours work. I think we only got about 6 full days of all day work. Every time they left I would have to pick up garbage and cigarette butts. I would tell the boss and would be assured they would clean up before they left ... NOT. We were promised a 4ft deep pool minus about 3 to 4 in from the top leaving 44 in to swim in. The liner we got was 43in deep leaving 39 in of water. I wanted a salt water system he quoted $1500, I found a salt water system on the internet for less than $500 and told him to scratch his system. He was not happy. The up charges were endless. He charged me $200 for fill dirt and wanted to charge $400 for the topsoil to finish the job. Now come on all of the dirt should have been included in the estimate. He came for the final payment and I gave him what I agreed on and not a cent more. I then told him to leave and not come back. If you hire him, I warned you!!!!!!
