+ 1 moreI had a lot of work to be done on several rental properties. This contractor and his crew are superior in every way. They do quality work. They were always punctual for each job. I was always informed about anything that needed to be done extra and he kept me abreast while the work was being done. They also cleaned up after each job. I can't say enough about this Company. I will definitely hire them again when needed and would highly recommend them to anyone. I give them an A+.
Description of Work: I own several rental properties. Jimmy and his crew pressure washed and painted a rental house, large garage, and several porches and decks.

He and his workers showed up early each day, and cleaned up well when leaving. He even did a little extra trim painting at no charge. Nice guy and crew, great job, terrific experience.

+ -1 moreThis is the second time I've used Bidwell Painting!!! Jimmy and team are always punctual, courteous and fun to talk too. Day 1 was removal of the exterior shutters, then pressure washing of deck and house, then caulking all cracks on exterior walls of house (wood sided house). Day 2 the team along with Jimmy arrived and painted the exterior of the house and finished it the same day. Day 3 a couple of the team members arrived and stained two decks. One of the decks had never received any care and was very weathered. When the fella's finished just the pressure washing of the deck it looked new but by the time they stained the deck you would never be able to tell that it had not been taken care of by previous owners. I thought I was going to have too rebuild this deck d/t the weathering/lack of care but Jimmy reassured me that he could make the deck like new. Boy was Jimmy right!!!! He saved me a tremendous amount of $$$$ by bringing new life to the deck. It looks AWESOME and so does the house. I've already had a friend ask me who did the work as they want to get an estimate for deck staining. I would not hesitate to say Jimmy and team will take care of any painting needs to your satisfaction. Thanks Bidwell Painting. AWESOME JOB!!!!!

+ -1 moreIt started several weeks ago in terms of meeting Jimmy and asking for a quote. He said he would show up between 9:00am and 9:30am. He showed up exactly the day and time he said he would. He gave me a quote that I thought was exactly what I would pay. Based on his previous reviews in Angie's List, I did not obtain any additional quotes. This was back in mid to late April. He said he would shoot for starting May 13th. The week before May 13th he said he was hoping to be free to start on Monday 13th (as everyone in the area knows, we had a significant amount of rain). They actually weren't able to start until Tuesday, which consisted primarily of pressure washing and removing the old screen. Painting began on Wednesday (with a crew of 5-6 painters). They are finishing this morning. Of note, when they say they will be there, they will be there. Jimmy runs a solid business. And his crew was very cordial. Jimmy required the money for the materials up front; then did not ask for any additional payment until our house was completed. Which took 4 days from start to finish. I hope not to need the house painted again for years, but any of the other attributes / skills provided by Jimmy will definitely receive my consideration.
Description of Work: Pressure washed the entire house and deck, caulked and painted the exterior (two story house with basement and brick on three sides), replaced the screen and screen door on the back deck / porch area.

Description of Work: I highly recommend Bidwell Painting!! Jimmy Bidwell was the first to respond to my request for an estimate. He came out to see the job the day I called. He gave an estimate and contacted me with a day to do the job. Today he arrived with two employees and they proceeded to paint the exterior high side of my home. He had noticed my shutters needed painting and he offered to include that job along with the side of the house. He had green paint left over so I saved money on paint! While here, he noticed my front door was also green and they painted my door at NO additional cost! I am pleased with the quality of the job and Mr. Bidwell's communication has been excellent. He was prompt to respond to my phone calls and answered every question thoroughly. I am definitely keeping their number!!

They went beyond my expectations and I am so pleased that I choose Bidwell Painting to do the work on my home. The price was very reasonable for the amount of work that was involved. The workers were extremely nice and pleasant to be around. I would highly recommend Bidwell Painting to anyone that is in search of a painting contactor. I will definitely use them again in the future.
Description of Work: I hired Jimmy and his crew to paint the interior foyer, outside of my home, and replace the 1" x 12" and drip cap on the lower trim of the exterior. My home is 2 stories which makes it quite a challenge paint. The guys came in and did an outstanding job! They started by pressure washing the exterior and moved inside on a couple of rainy days and painted the inside foyer. They then went on to the exterior. They replaced/repaired any damaged wood they encountered along the way.

Description of Work: Jimmy and James repaired some damaged siding including spots where squirrels were getting into my attic. And, they screened over potential areas of entry so that I didn't have to worry. They cleaned my gutters and my entire rooftop of leaves. Additionally, they helped me properly connect my dryer to the outside vent.......an extra bonus for me!

+ 1 moreI can't enough about how pleased we were with the professionalism, punctuality and quality of the work. Mr. Bidwell came out to our house to look at the job and give us a free estimate. We discussed paint and stain colors color and agreed on a start /finish date. He and his crew arrived on the day selected and completed the job in the time frame agreed upon. They were freindly and courteous. When the job was completed, Mr. Bidwell presented us with a folder that contained all of the indformation about the job, including copies of emails exchanged and the information folder about the paint and stain that were used. Their cleanup was excellent, and they even workled a couple of days when neither my wife nor I were there. All in all, we were very pleased with our experience of working with Mr. Bidwell and will definitely consider using him again.
Description of Work: Mr. Bidwell and his crew primed and painted new soffits and fascia boards all around our house. Also, they pressure-washed, cleaned and stained our two small decks and steps.

+ 2 moreFrom my first phone call to Jimmy to the last day they were here making sure everything was completed to my satisfaction, this company performed perfectly. They are the company to hire if you want the best service, the right price, a quality team, punctual workers and all around great guys. Jimmy is very professional, returning calls, getting all of the samples I requested, suggesting color combinations, and making sure the punch list was finished and I was happy with the results. I wish I had another house to paint as I would hire them back in a heartbeat. Jimmy also took the time to make sure I understood everything they were going to, the costs involved and the time estimated for completing the job. He is very knowledgeable and patient. When the job was completed, Jimmy handed me a file with all receipts, color samples and billing information. This is the company to hire if you want the job done right. Jimmy also gave a discount for being an Angie's List user and he did one job for free--the inside of my screened in porch now has a protective coating of polyurethane and it looks great. Jimmy also learned that I was participating in a fund raising bike ride for Multiple Sclerosis and he donated generously to that cause as well. What a great guy!
Description of Work: Jimmy Bidwell and his wonderful crew, brother James and the other Jimmy, did a fantastic job power washing and painting the exterior of my home, resurfacing front and back wooden decks and power washing and water sealing a wooden fence around a pool area.

Description of Work: I obtained a detailed estimate broken down by labor & materials. We agreed on a start date & paid for materials only up front. I added several updates to my original quote while they were painting & had him do them also. Work consisted of tearing out & replacing rotten facia boards, re-siding my chimney with supplied siding, replace rotten trim on front of house, & tearout overhangs in front of house & add insulation & re-seal with new wood. Prime, caulk & paint all & 3 sides of my house.

Description of Work: This is the second job that Bidwell Painting did for me. Jimmy and his crew painted all my popcorn ceilings in my house......every single ceiling! Living room, kitchen, bedrooms, bathroom, laundry room, hallwayy.....Some were ruined from water damage from a leaky roof, some were messed up from a bad painting job (by me) and others were filthy/greasy from the renter frying everything. Jimmy and the guys repaired all of them, painted all of them and they look fabulous.

Description of Work: Ok, not to sound goofy, but I love these guys. This was the first of three jobs that I had Jimmy (& the guys: Jimmy, James and Joe) do for me. They are (i) professional, (ii) fun, (iii) honest, (iv) hard-working, (v) responsive, (vi) flexible, (vii) full of integrity...... I really can't say enough good things. [no, i am not related, nor did they ask me to say these good things]. I found these guys on Angie's list and wish I had other jobs for them ;-) When I asked Jimmy to give me an estimate on powerwashing my house, cleaning out my gutters, repairing the screen porch, and priming and painting the whole house, including the front deck and the shutter, he asked permission to go over to my house while I was traveling and he looked at what needed to be done. He gave me a detailed written estimate with "choices" and recommendations. His recommendations were tasteful and money-conscious. He willingly answered my billion questions and waited while I got my other quotes. Then when he got the job, he stuck to his quote. It had been straightforward, asking for the cost of "materials" upfront and I supplied a check for the paint. He was timely and responsive. He not only did the "JOB" but suggested and did small favors for me, truly exceeding my expectations.

Description of Work: This is the third job I had Bidwell Painting do for me. They tore down a faulty/dangerous set of outside stairs and totally rebuilt the stairs and the landings and remodeled the front deck to accommodate a different design I wanted. The stairs look great. They are solid and have plenty of handrails. My 84 year old mother came to visit me recently and navigated them superbly.

Description of Work: I contacted Jimmy who came out on a Friday (on time) and gave me an estimate and he started work on the following Monday (on time and finished an hour early). Since he finished early, he took $50 off the price and he painted our deck, the fence surrounding it, the columns, and our pergola. He also repaired one of the columns and came back on the 2 subsequent days (after getting paid) and put extra coats on for no additional cost. Neat work. Excellent quality. Honesty and Trustworthiness in doing business. You can tell that Jimmy and his crew take pride in their work. I wouldn't use anyone else because there is no need.

If you are looking for a painter, you would be foolish not to hire Bidwell Painting - I could not even imagine anyone doing such an incredible job.
Description of Work: Jimmy came to our house and gave me a quote for the job. He came out a second time to review the details with my husband. He painted our entire house, including the gutters! He also replaced warped trim on our back deck. We had the materials for the deck in our garage and not realizing that Jimmy purchased the stripping at his expense and stained and replaced it. His work is incredible, our house looks brand new! We are extremely pleased with the quality of his work and his professionalism. We would definitely use him again. This is the best experience I have ever had with a contractor.
