+ -1 moreAfter purchasing home and discovering all of these things, it took us over $20,000 cash to fix. We called Ken Hutchins and asked if we could discuss getting a $300 refund for the home inspection. He informed us he was on vacation and would return our call as soon as he returned. He must be on a very long vacation because almost 8 months later and we have never heard a word from him.
Description of Work: We hired Ken Hutchins to inspect the home we purchased. He neglected to find a large hole in our roof and toxic mold in walls and subfloor (which were damp). He also neglected to report rotted deck stairs ( which collapsed on my six year old son) and a broken patch on dishwasher and water pouring out of the bottom when we ran it through. We had leaky faucets and no seal on shower door causing water to pour out.
