Description of Work: Removed screens and cleaned all windows in large 2-story historic home, inside and out. The job was made much more difficult because the last house painter had left windows painted shut and had put screens back on the wrong windows. Larry Hymer (the owner) took the time to open the painted-shut windows and fix the misplaced window screens. We have used this company for many, many years and I recommend them highly. I plan to use them again this spring.

Description of Work: Larry Hymer the owner is an honest and hard working man. The service provided was ABSOLUTELY EXCELLENT. The windows were heavily soiled and old (house built in 1960). The windows now look so clean it is like there is no glass in them. There were 21 windows, storms and screens to take out and between two men they were in and out in 3.5 hours!! I would HIGHLY recommend this window cleaning service to everyone.

+ -1 moreI called “Sure Clean Windows” and spoke with Larry’s wife, who was able to answer all my questions regarding having our home windows cleaned. Later Larry called me to set a time to look at our home in order to give us a quote. He called later to give the quote and to set a day and time to clean the inside windows, outside windows and the screens. I let Larry know that I was not in any hurry, since it was winter yet, and I work from home and therefore have a flexible work schedule. For this reason I let him know that if the weather was bad I would prefer to reschedule. I did not want people on a ladder if it was icy or windy. Also, in this way I would not be trying to heat the house while they were opening them for cleaning. As it turns, out due to the weather, Larry called to reschedule and came out a day earlier to clean the windows. Our home is 2 years old and the windows had never been cleaned. For this reason they were very dirty and still had the original window stickers which needed to be removed. We were unable to remove the stickers ourselves because we didn’t have the necessary ladders to reach them. When Larry arrived he showed me some areas where the windows were scratched from where mortar must have scraped the window during building. I was impressed Larry was able to distinguish the scratches from all the dirt and that he caught these issues which our home inspector missed. Larry and his partner worked diligently and it took them 4 hours to clean all the windows. We do have a lot of windows in our house and a number of them required ladders to reach. They removed all screens for cleaning then replaced them and made sure all windows were locked. Also, they wore covers over their shoes while in the house so as not to track mud and dirt on the floors. Larry was very nice to work with and I highly recommend him for cleaning windows.
Description of Work: Cleaned windows on the inside and outside of home. Our home is 2 stories and has a third story window which requires an extension ladder. When researching for a contractor I was interested in a company that only did window cleaning. I felt a company that did multiple handyman jobs around the house would give priority to larger more profitable jobs. Also, felt that such a company could have multiple people working for them, who may or may not be good at the work. I went with Larry due to the good reviews on Angie’s List and because window cleaning is his main business and he would most likely be doing the work himself. I like being able to work with 1 person and especially the owner of a company. Also, I figured if his only business was cleaning windows he would have to be good in order to stay in business.

+ 0 moreLarry was fantastic! He was very conscientious and told me things about my windows, and caring for the tinted windows that I was unaware of. He was on time, and did an excellent job. His price was very fair. He also worked us into his schedule quickly in order to get my windows done prior to having a family reunion of 35 in my home. I would highly recommend Larry Hymer and Sure Clean Window Cleaners!
