MCLEMORE'S TREE SERVICE

I had gotten estimates from 4 companies and Mclemore's price was $1,000 more than the highest bid from the other 3 companies. The written quote states: "*** Stump grinding services: DOES NOT INCLUDE REMOVAL OF GROUND CHIPS ***" The written estimate also states that it "...does not include material price increases or additional labor and materials which may be required should unforseen problems or adverse weather conditions arise after the work has started. I wasn't real thrilled with McLemore's additional disclaimer stating that "Customer accepts that job may require the use of heavy equipment which may cause damage to driveway or property grounds." The company states none of this is their responsibility.

The work was fine and the price was good. The customer service, sadly, was not great. It was more than two weeks after my initial request for an estimate before someone came out. (I think I had to call back a couple of times.) Then they didn't show up the first two times they were supposed to do the job. I think the first time they called me; the second time I think I had to call them. They finally rescheduled for a Friday. I waited around all day with no word. They showed up at 7:00AM on Saturday without any advance notice and were somewhat surly---don't think they wanted to be there. Anyway, the guy on the phone was nice enough and he did say they were way behind because there had been so much rain. And the price was great! I almost felt guilty....almost.

They had 4 workers onsite to operate the crane truck, cut the limbs and put the chain around the cut limbs to lift them out of the trees and put into the chipper truck. These guys know exactly how to work in the most efficient manor, and were all friendly. No accidents occured with limbs falling on our house,etc. These guys are real pros and it was fun watching them work in the trees. Several neighbors were so impressed that they booked more jobs on the spot. They totally cleaned up after the job as well.

I own some rental property in Hendersonville and needed some dead trees removed, so I searched Angie's List and made some calls. I had several people come out, and I had two estimates that were five hundred bucks apart. Considering I am a out of state property owner, it is easy for me to get screwed, so I have to be careful, anyway, MCLEMORE TREE SERVICE came out, they were cheaper than the other guy, they were honest, professional in their work. Yes I would hire them again.....

The service man and his helper were both nice, down to earth fellows. They worked quickly and carefully. Nothing was damaged in my yard and the trees he trimmed look so much better now. He ground out the stumps and removed every chip of debris from all the work. I would definitely recommend him.

I was very happy to hire McLemore Tree Service. They did an awesome job. They cut the tree down in about an hour and a half. They cut it up and hauled all the branches away. I highly recommend them.
