I bought a big deal for this service and it was not particularly great. I was not very happy with their service. Their deal was for 8 hours worth of painting. Basically they did, probably, about 6 hours of painting and did not want to finish the other two hours because they were concerned they would not be able to finish the entire room without charging more money. So, basically, they had two more hours that were incomplete. They told me they could finish the other room for $200. I said that was like buying another big deal so that was not a good experience. They did a good job with the area that they did do, but there were several spots, and I did not catch it until they left, where you could still see some of the paint of the previous color. It was like a little bleed-through, but was nothing major. I guess you could probably say it was partially my fault, too, for not catching it, but they should have caught it too. They were very responsive and were on time.

They promised at least three times via e-mail to set a date for painting, but never followed up. This has gone on over a two plus month period of time. I am requesting return f my money.

The first time a gentleman came over and he was friendly and attentive. He informed me that all the work could not be done that day. I had previously sent a message to them outlining all the work that needed to be done, but they did a poor job in scheduling. The patchwork was not done well. The painting itself was done well and they did a great job of edging. We had to go back and re-patch and paint a few areas.

I bought the Angie's special for $199 for a day's worth of painting. I provided the paint, he supplied the rest of the supplies. Communication was great throughout the process. He showed up on time, worked very quickly, and did an awesome job. I would hire him again.

We couldn't be more happy. They worked efficiently & treated our house as if it was their own. I will definitely use them again in the future. Thanks A + Painting.

Jim showed up on time. Prepped the ceilings & hallway first, then he proceeded to paint. His work was excellent, cleaned up afterwords. I am very pleased with the results & plan on using him again in the future. Thanks A + Painting for everything.

My concrete patio was pressure washed, along with an outdoor building and wooden steps leading off of the patio. After letting the surfaces dry for a day, Jim and his co-worker stained my patio for a new, fresh look. It required no special surfacing or texturing, and it came out well. I have been very happy with the result. He kept a clean work space and arrived on time, as promised. I will not hesitate to hire him again.

I was in touch with Jim a few times as we discussed the painting projects and decided on a date for the work, and a start time of 9am. I bought the paint (which is not returnable) and removed art, accessories, rugs, and some furniture from two rooms to be painted. I also patched nail holes and other wall scuffs in preparation of the paint job. Jim Bogan sent me a text at 10:40pm the night before he was to be at my home, which I did not receive until the next morning, telling me he had a scheduling conflict and would not be coming to do my job. I have out of town company coming in less than two weeks, and now the painting hasn't been done and my walls have been patched. So, not only are the walls not painted, they now contain white patches throughout, and I had to spend all that time and effort getting everything out of those rooms for nothing. Now I'm moving it all back and into rooms with patches on the walls. I want a refund of my $200 and a refund for the paint I purchased that cannot be returned. I only decided to have this work done when Angie's List sent me this Deal of the Day. It was a great deal for 8 hours of painting, but turned out not to be a deal at all, as the work was not done. Now I'm out $200 paid to Angie's List for this job, I'm out nearly $100 for paint, and all my time and effort of moving two rooms. I want a refund of my $200 for a job that was not done and a refund for the paint I purchased.

I signed up for a deal with Angie's List for a paint job - 8 hours for one person or 4 hours for two painters. I thought this was a great deal and thought I had the perfect job that could possibly be completed within that time frame or close to it. Unfortunately the saying... "if it's too good to be true, then it is probably is" should have clued me in that something was up. I was definitely not pleased with the number of hours that was spent on painting the eaves. A+ Painting & Pressure Washing (Jim Bogan) showed up on time and alone at 8:30 a.m. per our agreement. I made it a point to question the fact that he was alone. He pointed out correctly that the deal was for 1 person for 8 hours and 2 people for 4 hours. He specifically said that he was there for the 8 hours. I left soon thereafter for work. I returned to my residence at approximately 2:00 p.m to find a letter from Mr. Bogan indicating that he and another painter completed two coats of the paint on the back side of the house. This was patently false (technology and neighbors are great inventions) which means I did not receive 8 hours of painting. In addition, his letter further indicated that if I wanted the painting to be fully completed it would cost me an additional $800.00 plus two additional gallons of paint. It is difficult to believe that 8 hours of painting would result in only the back portion of a relatively small house being painted even by hand. Neither sides of the house or the front were touched. My displeasure is not with the additional costs but the fact that I did not receive 8 hours of painting as the deal suggested. According to my calculations, Mr. Bogan should have been here until 4:30 p.m. without lunch and 5:30 with lunch. I would not recommend this gentleman and will not use Angie again. I am asking Angie to discontinue my membership and reimburse me for the subscription cost. I have had much better luck with HomeAdvisor and there is no fee to join.

Jim and Jeff painted the foyer and had time to also complete the mud room. They prepared the rooms to paint and then made sure everything was cleaned up afterwards.

Jim arrived early. He did an excellent job on the painting & cleaned up properly. I now enjoy my home as if it were new. As a real estate agent I will definitely use him in the future.

)It went great. He painted my bedroom ceiling, walls & baseboards. After he was done in that room he moved on to my living room where he painted my ceiling, walls & trim (to include 4 doors). After those rooms he went into my kitchen & painted the ceiling & walls only. (Baseboard didn't need painting). He did exactly what he said he would do & finished in 4 days as he stated earlier. I was impressed with his professionalism & he explained everything to me so I would understand it. I would definitely recommend him to my friends & family. Thank you A + Painting for making my house look great! It was well worth the money.
