Description of Work: Plumbing Works - Chris Comes - is one of THE BEST plumbing contractors / specialists in the Shelby county region. Chris is VERY responsive, punctual, and completely professional. He is also honest in his work as well as an 'on your side' plumber - that is, if he sees a way he can save you money yet still accomplish the job properly, he will suggest it. He does NOT cut corners and is VERY much like Mike Holmes of Holmes on Homes - at least when it comes to plumbing. Chris can spot the flaws in prior/existing work and will DO IT RIGHT. In our neighborhood, 3M copper pipe was the rage back in the day of development (late 1980s). Well, now after 25 + years of higher and higher water pressure coupled with trace mineral deposits corroding the inner surfaces of the pipes, pinhole leaks have become common. A pinhole leak is something you DON'T want to ignore since they can rapidly turn into dime-sized or larger holes in your piping, saturating drywalls, ceiling, floors, and other surfaces. I have had Chris Comes / Plumbing Works out several times to spot-fix small pinhole leaks in the copper tubing and have asked him for an estimate on replacing ALL of my copper pipes with PEX - the new clear PVC, bendable replacement for copper tubing. He's given me a great quote and soon I'll be copper-free! That will be a great relief knowing I can go out of town and not come back to a sodden, fallen in wall and holey ceiling due to a water leak in a supply line...

Description of Work: My bathroom plumbing was backed up, and the toilets were overflowing, because there were roots somewhere in the pipes. So Chris and his workers came to my house, dug up the pipes from my house out to the road and they used a TV camera to find the roots and they replaced all the pipes. They covered up the piping and fixed the lawn. It took about a week to do this job.
