Work was completed. However, there were deficiencies such as the quality of material and leaking roof. Tried for approximately three months to get resolution to the problems identified above. They came to the house a couple of time without fully resolving the problem. Company showed little interest in service after the sale. I ended up fixing the leaking roof myself.

I'm looking forward to my install very soon and again, as mentioned, they have gone out of their way to meet my needs based on what I desire for my patio. I would without hesitation use Peaceful Settings again in the future without seeking quotes/bids from other companies. Why look elsewhere when you can work with the best and be treated like the best!

Kenny and John did a great job building our deck. They were very detail orriented and made sure everything looked the best it could look.

Didn't use them decided to wait until the fall to do the project... We had a family emergency to arise and had to postpone the job. But we will definitely will be using them to do our pergola ..

One word from beginning to end...outstanding!

We hit a rainy period, but allowing for those days, the project ran on time, the crew was professional and courteous. The deck looks great. I had an idea of what I wanted, which elements (pergola, open benches, swing) but Ben did the actual design. They also built a dock launch at my lake edge for the kayaks. The fence has been repaired, they don't normally work on just fences, but did my repair as part of the larger project. The gate will be installed in a few days along with the bench seats, they ran just short of the Choice Dek to finish those.

They never followed up on what they said they were going to do. After I agreed on letting them do the job. I waited for months because they were so far behind, which i didn't mind because I was given a 10% discount. Then one of Ben's employees was supposed to get back with me on getting someone who does the wiring for them to give me an estimate on the wiring, which he never did. Then Ben called me and apologized for him not getting back with me. He had been out of town, and he had put too much on him to do. But now he was back in town and he would call an electrician himself and have him to call me. Well after that, an electrician called me shortly after Ben notified him and said he could come that afternoon to give me a quote. Well after canceling my doctor's appointment and rushing home, he never showed up. So I called him to see if he was still planning to come, if not, I had business I needed to take care of. Never heard another word from him or Ben. They wasted my time was all!

They were the highest but also seem to be the most confident. But we have decided not to do anything yet. It was expensive. He was very professional, thorough, had wonderful ideas. The pictures online of the previous work were outstanding. It was a very thorough presentation. He outlined everything he would do, what we could do, bit of ideas that we did not know, and I was very impressed.

I contacted Ben with Peaceful Settings in March, 2014. He came to the residence, took measurements, and gave me a thorough explanation of the work they could do and the options. There are four options on the style of pergola and we choose the mid priced one. Due to the high demand for Peaceful Settings, our pergola could not be built until July, 2014.. The workers showed up July 3, 2014 to start the work and did a great job getting the structure built in two days, including working on July 4 to get the job done. The only reason why I gave them a lower rating on professionalism is that one of the workers parked in our neighbor's grass and another blocked in a neighbor's driveway. Just little things like that the workers need to be aware of. We are super happy with the work performed and the quality of the work. Our pergola is very large so pricing is based on size. If you want the pergola stained or electricity added to it for ceiling fans and lights, this work is not done by Peaceful Settings.

We are very pleased with how the project turned out. Contractors very professional.

Worked was scheduled, and due to an incredible amount of rain in our area, installation had to be delayed a week. This was entirely understandable and out of Mr. Richardson's control. His crew arrived on the newly scheduled date, and they were on time. Punctuality seems to be a problem for some workers in today's market, so I appreciated that Peaceful Settings showed up when they said they would. The crew was totally professional, and if I had a question about the installation, they did not mind the interruption. They cleaned up the work site, and put all the patio furniture back in place. I would definitely recommend Peaceful Settings and would not hesitate to use them again.

The first pergola was built off the back of our home and had a covered roof. Post holes were dug (2 hrs) and city had to inspect. The covered pergola was erected (1 day). Electrician put in wiring for three recessed lights and two ceiling fans. City had to inspect electrical work. City approved, lights, fans were installed. Workers came back and boxed in ceiling fixtures (2 hrs). Pergola completed. The second job was an open pergola over a custom fireplace in the backyard. This was completed in 1-1/2 days. Post holes had to be dug (2 hrs), then wait for city inspection before proceeding. Once approved by city, the workers were back and the job completed (1 day).

I didn't use them. It was a free estimate. They were fine. They were prompt and thorough. The price was high. I didn't get too many other estimates to compare it, but it just seemed high. He was very nice and professional. He did a good job. I would consider using them in the future if I could afford it.

They had done exactly what I asked them to do. They knew what they were doing. I have recommended them to others too.

He has a team of people and they do good quality work. They worked in a timely manner and finished in great time. He and his workers are very professional. We had them do extensive work and they did a great job.
