It was a positive experience.
Description of Work: Mr. Oakes has a truck with a "yard vacuum". I have many pine trees with LOTS of pine needles and wanted my yard cleaned up for a holiday party. He was timely and professional and I will DEFINITELY call him again!

Pat Oakes and his crew did a great job. They were courteous and hard working. My yard looks fabulous! We can't wait to enjoy our pool next summer. I called several other landscape companies to get bids and Pat and his crew had the best prices and gave us the best design.
Description of Work: I have had my leaves raked on several occasions and Pat Oakes and his crew just landscaped the overgrown backyard in our new home. They had to pull out tons of monkey grass, moved some 7 foot hedges, dig up many old & overgrown bushes, tore down two 8 foot trees, and added in lots of new trees, plants, and bushes. They even added a trellis. It was a lot of work!

My husband and I are newlyweds and new to home ownership. We both work crazy long hours and as a result, our yard is often neglected. There are 6 mature (50+ year old) oak trees on our lot. The leaves were unmanageable last fall. We felt like we raked and raked and they just kept falling. We never made any real progress in getting them cleaned up. We called Oakes Landscape and Lawn Care and we were thrilled that they were able to fit us in so close to Christmas. The day they cleared my front and back yard of leaves, I actually drove past my house because I couldn't recognize it. It looked that good. Not a leaf in sight. We were thrilled. The neighbors were thrilled. It was awesome and my in-laws were super impressed when they came over for Christmas. Several neighbors asked for the number and have used the Oakes Landscape and Lawn Care since then. Oh, and before I forget...as an added bonus, Mr. Pat (the owner) and his men don't leave any bags. They vacuum the leaves up and mulch them. Its environmentally friendly and we didn't have unsightly back bags lining our curb for the holidays like a neighbor down the street.
Description of Work: They cleared our lawn of leaves. We seriously had 4 inches of leaves (depth) covering all parts of our lawn.
