+ -1 moreJames came out to the property promptly after my first email request and provided me an estimate within a few days. Once permitting was complete (which he helped with )the construction of the dock began. Once the building of the dock was completed it was floated down the lake to my house for installation. The dock was installed in one day as promised. James was the consummate professional from the initial inquiry through the project completion. He made sure that I was pleased with the finished product. Quality of the workmanship was excellent and I am very proud of the dock. James answered all of my questions and made sure that all of my needs were met. Another local company never even returned my initial email request.
Description of Work: A dock was designed, built, and installed for my boat. They also installed a hydrologist boat lift.

Description of Work: James Tomlin with Tomlin dock installed my 540 square foot dock on Old Hickory Lake. I was very pleased with the quality of the work... the dock is very well built and robust- it has way more floatation than needed (a good thing if loading up the dock or adding a roof), uses angle iron structural steel frame (so it should last), and it even included an extra concrete pour for the landing (for an extremely solid gangway anchoring point). A solidly built dock was important, as I am on a very busy (lots of big waves) area on the main channel of the lake. The installation took a little longer than quoted, but given the good build quality and great price I am very satisfied and highly recommend them.
