We secured a contract at a fair price, but with first-time buyers with great credit but not a huge amount of cash. The title company literally "put them through the wringer" during the approval process. Heather was there for both the buyer and seller every step of the way. She has incredible communication skills and a positive approach to any obstacles. There were no issues -- only opportunities that she met head on. She really worked a lot of magic for all of us and this was especially important as I was 800 miles away during these transactions. When unexpected repairs had to be made, she had contact with highly skilled but reasonably priced vendors. When paperwork needed to be finessed through the county departments, she personally hand carried them through each process. When surveys and easements needed to be obtained, she was instrumental to the process. Given all the issues, we determined that she probably netted about .50 cents per hour for her time. She worked incredibly hard and put in a lot of hours for her portion of the 6% real estate commission. She insured, what was for us a very emotional and tough process, much easier.
