+ -1 moreOn their part fine its Samsung i had a problem with. Corlew repair men were very professional and knowledgeable. they called before they came and cleaned up before they left. Wish I could praise Samsumg but I can't. Had a problem sending wrong parts twice. Would call Corlew again.

+ -1 moreI called Corlew appliance to try to schedule an appointment to have my washing machine fixed. When they answered the phone they immediately asked me if I could hold which I agreed to do. After waiting for 5 minutes, I hung up. I then tried to contact them through Angie's list. They didn't even respond for several days and when they finally did, they just left me a message telling me to call them. I used another company after this experience.
Description of Work: I ended us using a different company due to Corlew's lack of responsiveness

He gave us instructions as to how to diagnose the problems if it occurred again. He then repaired our dryer to our satisfaction. He was courteous and punctual.

+ -1 moreScheduling was easy. The guy showed up in the early part of the window promised. He figured out immediately that the movers had installed screws into the machine for moving. Was honest about the costs and let me decide whether to have him remove them or do it myself later. Overall, a friendly and good experience.

+ -1 moreI had difficulity in getting a repair company to respond in a timely manner until I called Corlew .He was here the following day and checked out the problem. He gave us a written estimate and the date when he could return with the necessary part ,to which we agreed . He was right on time on the promised date and did a quick job of installing the part and checking out the operation of the umit . I would call Corlew over any other appliance repair sevice when I need any other work on my appliiances.
Description of Work: Replaced oven electric heating element in the oven of a G. E. " Profile" stove.

+ -1 moreWe were having some issues with both our washer and dryer (10 yrs. old). We contacted Corlew Appliance and set an appointment to trouble shoot and repair both washer and dryer. John the technician phoned ahead to let us know he was in route. When John arrived he explained the trip charge, and also expalined that if he did not have any needed parts, he would pick those up and return. John was able to make repairs to the dryer, as he had stocked parts on his service truck, and returned 2 days later to make the repairs on the washer. John provided a detailed estimate for each appliance while on site and prior to making any repairs. i would definitely recommend Corlew Appliance and Jonh for repairs.

+ -1 moreOverall, they were prompt and efficient. I called on a Tuesday and asked to be scheduled for Thursday to work around my schedule, which they accomodated. The following Monday was a holiday, but on Tuesday, they called to say they had the part and could be there that day if it was convenient for me. The technician was knowledgable and professional and I would use them again. And even though I thought the price was high for the labor, by the time he had pulled the dryer out, disassembled it and put it back together, I no longer questioned the intricacy of the repair.
Description of Work: Our front load dryer control panel was cycling and beeping randomly when not in use and sometimes gave an error code when in use. Eventually, it wouldn't run any longer than a few minutes before shutting down and displaying an error code. I already knew by looking up the error code online that either a button was stuck or the control panel was bad. I also found that the new control panel cost was $189.00 plus shipping from an online retailer. After paying the $75 service call to confirm what I had found, I chose to go ahead and have it repaired. The estimate was $229 for the control panel (which seemed reasonable to what I had found). However, the labor was $261.00 which was explained to me as this was a difficult thing to replace. They did credit the service call to my overall bill. A few days later, they came back with the control panel, installed it and the dryer has worked perfectly since then.

I was very pleased with the service I received from this company. The service tech gave me a fridge magnet with the company's name, address, and phone number. I keep it on my fridge all the time and call them when I need more work done.
