Description of Work: I don’t have the space to truly tell our NIGHTMARE story dealing with this company! We LOVE the quality of our cabinets, although that’s no credit to Cabinet Express, as the cabinets are manufactured in the Midwest. We do have praise for the installers who installed our cabinets and countertops; they were awesome to work with, but beyond that, we have nothing good to add! We had countless phone calls that we initiated-promising dates that never happened, etc. I picked out my counter top, was told it was in production at least twice, only to finally discover the countertop I picked out had been sold and the replacement looked VERY different from the one I chose. When nothing they had in stock matched my kitchen, I was given two warehouses to go search AND had to pay an additional $1500 because they had nothing in stock to match my cabinets. The one they received to replace the one I chose originally did not match, and my designer even admitted that fact. The installer REFUSED to install our island/bar countertop due to MAJOR safety concerns! He said it could fall on someone’s leg. When we told Cabinet Express about the faulty design, we had to order and pay for additional posts to ensure our island/bar countertop was installed safely. Their suggestion was to add two more brackets, again, the installer refused, due to safety. We spent $40k plus with this company and it was a total nightmare for months! I would be told I was on the schedule for a certain date, only to discover that date moved to days away. We’ve only touched the tip of the iceberg... we do not recommend this company at all! Again, we love the cabinets they sell, but their customer service is none existent! They want to be paid in advance, then they have your money and you wait on them to decide when you will receive your merchandise or an installation date. Additionally, when I paid the $1500 extra to order another countertop, they told me it hadn’t been delivered. I called the warehouse and was informed it had been delivered early that morning. I called back and they finally found it for me. As I said... a total nightmare every inch of the way!

+ 0 moreI will never use cabinet express again or recommend them to anyone I know or will meet in my life. I ordered the cabinets back in August and they were installed this Tuesday (October 6th) outisde the fact they changed the window for my counters to be installed withlut telling me and causing me to have to leave early, they also wouldn't uninstall the old counters the only work they actually did was set the new counters in place. Which was done in the sloppiness and slanted manner I've ever seen. They also did not reinstall any old appliances and left parts of my sink scattered around my kitchen. The counter tops themselves are fine quality, but the installation process is the worst I've ever seen and will never recommend. Now I have terrible uneven and slanted counters. So don't be like me and get swindled by this ridiculous company.

+ 0 moreThe whole project was scheduled around the cabinets being produced and installation availability as to minimize downtime with the bathroom. Cabinet Express did not show up for the scheduled install date. They were unresponsive to when they were going to try to reschedule. Once we finally got them installed, they informed us that the hardware Pulls and glides for pull out drawers were not in and they couldn't finish the installation. Then Cabinet Express measured for the countertop. We were originally told it would be about 5 days for countertop installation from that point. We were then told that the sales consultant messed up and showed us the wrong sinks to pick and we needed to choose a different sink and it was special order and would be around two weeks to install. Over two weeks later the counter top gets installed but Cabinet Express cannot well us where the hardware for the cabinets are and they did not respond when they were going to finish installation, as there is a countertop cabinet still left to be installed. Everyone that we dealt with at Cabinet express has been unresponsive and does not seem to care that we cannot use a bathroom until they finish their job that was already paid for, nearly 4 weeks behind schedule.
Description of Work: Bathroom Remodel. New cabinets. Large double sink vanity with counter top & Custom linen cabinet.

+ -1 moreOverall process was very smooth. Everything went according to plan, communications were excellent, and new countertops were technically ready for installation ahead of schedule.
Description of Work: Complete kitchen remodel/replacement of aged laminate countertops with new granite countertops.
