The owner was rarely on the job with the crew. On a scale of 1-10; 1 worst and 10 best; Shingle roof 6; gutters 5; metal roof no the front porch - negative 1; The shingle roof replacement and gutter job was average quality. Superior roof thought that the metal roof replacement was to their standard. However, it was beat up and cuts were not straight. A thin/cheap metal was used and the crew had no experience with metal roofs. Superior roofing indicated that if we were not happy they would have the crew return to fix the metal roof. We had our doubts that they could fix it. So we hire another roofer replace the metal roof and they did a great job.

The representative I dealt with, Michael Williams, seemed very knowledgeable and was responsive throughout the entire process. When material delivery was slightly delayed, I was notified right away and assured that a crew would be dispatched as soon as the shingles arrived. True to his word, the material was delivered and the job was completed the same day, even though the crew had to stay until about 8:30PM to finish the clean up. The workmanship appears to be good quality and I am very pleased with the aesthetics. However, when my final invoice arrived, I was surprised by an additional charge in the amount that my insurance company agreed to pay under a wind damage claim that I filed. Mr. Williams claimed that since he met with the adjuster that any money the insurance company agreed to pay should go to Superior Roofing over and above the original quote I was given of $4,500.00. I, of course, disagree and the matter is yet to be settled. If you use this company, you will probably be happy with the product and the service. However, make sure that you are clear about what is included in the price you are quoted and that the price you are quoted will be the same as the price you going to pay.

Roof looks great. However, within a week after having it done and after a hard rain, we got a water spot in the office. I called and Mark said he'd be out the next day and didn't show up. I called and he came later that day. He insisted the spot was an "old" spot and I insisted it wasn't there before (I'm ALWAYS in that room). He said wait until it rains again and call him if the spot gets wet. It rained that night and the spot wasn't wet the next day. However, the rain we had the other night was a downpour with blowing rain. We'll see what happens.
