+ -1 moremeter to the furthest reach of gas pipe, replaced a faulty valve and replaced They repaired the leak, inspected the whole system from the meter to the farthest reach of the system, replaced a corroded section of pipe and sealed all openings. They were incredibly tenacious.
Description of Work: Originally called to replace a gas valve for a fireplace. However, they discovered that there was a leak in the system that even the Piedmont Gas techs (2 of them) had not discovered. The gas system, including hookup to the main HVAC, could not hold pressure.They performed usual inspections and diagnostics, still could not locate it, which required a laborious inspection of the entire line. It turned out to be a pinhole leak in a small area of black iron pipe that was buried inside the wall leading from exterior to crawl space.
