Sebring Services listened to our needs, offered suggestions and good ideas on the way to proceed with repairs and choice of materials to use. They set up a schedule of work to be done (which we were able to track on the internet) and assigned us a project manager (Percy) who kept us informed and handled any questions or concerns we had. Whenever something unexpected pop up, Percy quickly responded either by phone call, email or coming to our home. The workers were considerate, did a great job and showed up to work when they said they would. We are very happy with the end product of a beautiful new bathroom.

We decided this past Spring to go ahead and pull the trigger on refinishing our basement. The project consisted of building out a 'living room', gym, bedroom, 3/4 bathroom, butler pantry, and storage closet. When looking for a contractor to work with, I went through a very thorough selection process, getting quotes from 5 supposedly highly rated contractors. Of all the companies I dealt with, Bryan from Sebring construction was the most professional, knowledgeable, respectful, and helpful. I probably asked him 50 questions over email before committing to going with Sebring Construction, and he consistently answered my questions promptly....and he didn't ever seem to get frustrated with my questioning. Given that it's a pretty big commitment and financial investment, I wanted to be sure I was making all the right choices, and I felt like he completely understood that. Once we decided to go with Sebring Construction, Bryan introduced us to our project manager Nancy. We primarily worked with Nancy on a day to day basis through the duration of the project, which ended up going for about 3 months. Bryan was still actively involved in the project, checking in periodically, and addressing any questions or concerns. Nancy was just as great to work with. With my busy work schedule, I was out of town for pretty much every week, only able to check in on the project in person on weekends. If/when challenges came up, Nancy did a fantastic job talking me through the scenarios over the phone. I was initially concerned it would be super-stressful trying to get this project complete while not being present full-time, however Sebring's scheduling process and Nancy's attention to detail helped assure me that the project would be successful. As with any project, there are always some challenges, and Bryan and Nancy helped minimize the stress level as we worked through them. For example, the original design called for tray ceilings in the basement. Once it was actually framed out, I knew immediately it wasn't the right design decision. I discussed with Nancy and Bryan, and they just rolled with the punches and adjusted the design on the fly to accommodate my request. Regarding the cost of the project, it was not cheap, however for the amount of work that was performed and the quality of the craftmanship, I think we got a pretty good value. Comparatively speaking, Sebring was on the lower-end of the spectrum, as compared to the other 4 vendors I evaluated. If you want quality work, you're going to have to pay a bit of a premium.
Our experience could not have been better. From our initial call to Sebring (which was returned in 10 minutes!!) through to completion, the whole team has been incredibly responsive and supremely professional (respectful of us and our home, prompt, always cleaned up, and just very nice!). Strong communication is a hallmark of the process with an easy to navigate website that includes a secure site for all updates and questions. Our project manager, in particular, was great. He always made us feel like we were his top priority. We highly recommend Sebring Services and will definitely use them again!

We contacted Bryan Sebring initially to help us finish our basement. From the first of many conversations with Bryan and his crews we were extremely impressed with the customer service provided to us. The basement came out looking fantastic - so good in fact that we asked Sebring Services to continue doing work in our home and turn our open loft into a third bedroom. This was done efficiently and beautifully. We have since contacted Bryan on multiple occasions to help us when we had water damage and some emergency repairs. Every time we have reached out needing assistance we are always amazed at how fast the response time is. We are moving to a new home in the next few months and anticipate contacting Sebring services for all of our future projects.

It's no surprise that we are thrilled with Sebring Services for the second time in two years. From first contact about a project through the finished product, everyone through our door has never been anything but professional, clean, friendly, and hard working. It's one thing to have a project completed nicely, it's another for the experience to be pleasant from start to finish, with an outstanding outcome. Our new crown moulding is absolutely beautiful. Installation was quick yet done to perfection. Painters finished the walls and ceiling flawlessly, cleaned, and helped move furniture back to its original positioning. We have no question about who to go to for future home projects, big or small. Thank you, Sebring Services!!!

Sebring finished our basement. Our experience was so positive that we chose Sebring to remodel our master bath. In each case, the work was completed to our satisfaction and on schedule. Quality materials were used, the workman were prompt, efficient, and careful to clean up before leaving. Sebring gave attention to details and stayed within our budget.

Sebring Services has been simply outstanding from start to finish with the remodeling of our Master and Hall Bathrooms. Our project involved having electrical, plumbing, and tile work done: all of whom not only did an excellent job but took pride in their work and the final result. Miquel and Alfaro did amazing dry wall work as well as some tiling, carpentry and of course, the "punchlist". They were always courteous, professional and neat! Justin did a wonderful job of preparing the house for the many feet that would be traveling in and out throughout the project, delivered supplies needed for the job at hand and cleared out debris on a daily basis. Keeping the whole show running was our wonderful project manager, Nancy. She kept the project on schedule, informed us of each days plans, responded to phone calls and texts prompltly, helped decide on and implement a few design changes, and handled all glitches and a few delays (on our part) with a smile! It was an absolute pleasure to work with her and her team. I would recommend Sebring Services to anyone who is considering a remodeling project.

Sebring did an excellent job remodeling our bathroom. We love the final product. Bryan Sebring had excellent ideas when scoping out the work. For example we were not happy with the current size of our shower and we were short on space for linen storage. Considering we already had a bathtub in the hall bath Bryan suggested we move the shower to where the bath was and put a linen closet where the old shower was. This worked out great. They assigned a project manager (Nancy) to follow the work. She did an excellent job and proactively identified issues and corrected them. Nancy identified an issue with the drywall work and had them redo it before we said anything. Sebring employees were very responsive, courteous and did excellent work. I would definitely use them again. I rated price as an A. Although they are not the cheapest contractor I believe there is value added by having a dedicated PM, skilled employees and trusted subs.
Description of Work: Sebring remodeled our Master bathroom. Bathroom was totally gutted. They removed tub, relocated shower, tiled (ceramic/porcelain) new shower enclosure and floor. Installed new fixtures, vanity and installed a new linen closet where old shower was located.

I was familiar with the Sebring Services name through local ads and the fact that they were close to where I live. I contacted Sebring about a medium sized? basement remodel. I played phone tag with presumably Brian, the owner, for about a week (He did return my calls in a reasonable time). I became really annoyed that I couldn't even talk with someone to set an appointment for an estimate or get a time talk with him unless I called before 3 pm, which is completely ridiculous. I even decided to try following up with Sebring directly on their website. Nothing. This is absolutely the worst way to do business. I am very disappointed and expected more from a highly rated contractor.

Let me start out by saying, I called this homeowner three times. Every time I called him, I left a message stating, when I would be in the office to discuss his project. I've learned over the past 15 years of being in business is to always take detailed notes and to listen to what a customer is wanting to do…without distractions. So a few years ago, I decided the first discussion I have with a homeowner is to be completed in front of my computer, so I can fully focus on them, to take detailed notes & to make sure nothing gets missed. Lots of contractors call back their clients while driving and can easily forget to write down the meeting in their calendars. I try so hard to make sure I’m never late, to return phone calls as soon as I possibly can, to email confirmations of every appointment, to be open and honest. We have staff in the office most everyday between 9:00 am – 4:00 pm. There are many days I am in the office after 3:00 pm. Although depending on the week, I may have appointments during that time. A note to the homeowner: Its sounds like you were very frustrated with not being able to get me in the office when you had availability to talk. I am sorry I couldn’t be there when you needed me to. I hope in the end, you found a contractor that could meet your needs better. -- Bryan
It was a pleasure to deal with Sebring Services. Bryan Sebring came to our home, listened to our requests, sent us a preliminary budget by email, met with us again, and then sent us a complete, fully itemized budget. There was no request for money prior to seeing this in depth budget. After we signed the contract, there were only minimal changes made to this original budget, and there was absolutely no nickel and diming. Most other companies requested down payments after only a back of the envelope budget was suggested and before seeing any plans or final budget. Bryan Sebring is an honest man. Sebring offers tremendous value. We interviewed five companies before choosing them. One company was way too high, and one was too low. Of the remaining three, Sebring Services was about 12% less costly than the other two. The other two have showrooms; Sebring does not. Sebring Services uses small, independent subcontractors, who are all pleasant and skillful and do quality work. The lack of a showroom is not a problem. Sebring will recommend showrooms for cabinets, granite, plumbing fixtures, and tile. The consultants were all quite knowledgeable and helpful. This requires multiple trips, but these showrooms have very extensive choices. Bryan has two project managers, and one of them will oversee your project. Nancy was assigned to us. She was extremely affable, experienced, and very accommodating. The typical response to our requests was: "Not a problem!" Sebring has a carpenter named Miguel who is outstanding. He did a great job installing our cabinets and readily helped with other tasks around the house. As in any major project, we had some snafus, like a lot of damaged cabinets doors, but Sebring would respond by always correcting the problem and making it right. They want a happy customer. Our project lasted longer than originally projected, mostly due to a faulty cabinet order by a subcontractor. I would highly recommend Sebring Services for any renovation project, and I would use them again. Our renovated home looks beautiful.
Description of Work: Sebring Services gutted and completely rebuilt our kitchen, downstairs bathroom, and our Master bathroom. New hardwood flooring was also installed on the entire first floor with the exception of the family room. The kitchen now features dark cherry stained cabinets along with a large, beautiful, white island, complete with microwave drawer and pendant lights, and all new appliances. The Master bathroom now has a very large shower with glass walls on two sides and a free standing soaking tub. The vast majority of the light fixtures in the home were replaced. The above price does not include the price of appliances or light fixtures.

We hired Brian to replace the horrible 1970's dropped ceilings in our daughters' bedrooms. The ceiling tiles were yellow and sagging and only had one light fixture in the middle of the room with a forty watt bulb. Brian came by and gave us his thoughts and was very personable and obviously knew what he was talking about. He knew we wanted a drywalled ceiling and suggested we add recessed lighting to take care of the lighting problem. We hired him the next day and work started a week later. The first day consisted of demo, framing, electrical and drywall. The entire project took eight days. This was mainly due to the drying time between mud coats on the drywall. The work itself went very quickly. Our project manager, Percy, was awesome! He came by the house everyday to check on things and was always a phone call away. Even for a "little" project, I always felt like Percy took the time to make sure everything was professional. This was a huge bonus for me and the main reason I will hire them again. The end results are beautiful rooms with tons of light that my girls (and myself) absolutely love!!

Sebring Services did an excellent job and I highly recommend them. This is the first remodeling I have done and I had some trepidation as it was a major upgrade. Bryan did a wonderful job not only making sure the job was done correctly but also helped, upon my request, with color recommendations and with the type of bathtub, sink, etc,. to install. The work was done on time and Sebring Services took great pains to do the whole job cleanly so the rest of the house was not impacted by dust and dirt. Very satisfied and would use them again.
Description of Work: Complete tear out and remodel of master bathroom.
The whole process took around 5 weeks. A schedule was provided to us detailing the work that will be done everyday and the payment schedule. We send in a payment when a major milestone in the project was completed (framing, electrical, drywall, painting, etc). The Sebring team made sure that they stick to the schedule which we appreciated. Our project manager Percy did a wonderful job of communicating to us any issues that came up. He addressed our concerns in a timely manner and made sure we were happy with the result. Everyone was pleasant and professional. The team kept the work place clean. We had experienced with dealing with contractors in the past since this is not the first remodel we have undertaken. This project have been a pleasant experience from start to finish. We recommend Sebring Services and would use them again in a future remodel.

The quality of the work was excellent and it was obvious the people they contract with are not only skilled, but take great pride in their work. They respected our home during the process, kept noise to a minimum, protected the house from construction dust/dirt as well as they could and were pleasant and professional. This was true of their carpenters, drywallers, tile installer, plumber, electrician and painter. Nancy Malone was our project director and she was absolutely fantastic! She was easy to work with, listened to and implemented our design ideas, checked the work just about daily and made plans for each next step to happen. She stayed in close contact with us throughout the project and responded very quickly to any of our text questions. She was as delighted with the finished project as we were and it was a pleasure to share the experience with her. They finished everything on the final checklist to our satisfaction. When Nancy left after the last visit, she said, "We will see you in 10 months." I was surprised and pleased to hear that they do a follow up to make sure all is working and staying as it should be. She said to call if there is anything major before then, otherwise we should make/keep a list if anything needs to be touched up or fixed and it will be taken care of at the next visit. Although we found Sebring Services on Angie's List, they earned our business by being consistently responsive when we first contacted them and throughout the bidding process and listening intently to our design ideas.

Sebring Services was easy to work with, and professional from start to finish. We started out not including the bathroom and decided on Day 2 of the project to add it in. They shuffled things around and made it happen. We were faced with a tight deadline due to family coming in, and even with the bathroom being added into the project, Sebring pushed hard to make sure everything was done in time for our company, without compromising high quality work. Everything turned out great, and we use it every day! As an aside, as a stay at home Mom, I never worried about all of the people who were coming in and out of the house. All of Sebring's workers were polite and respectful, and did a good job cleaning up after themselves. Price wise, Sebring was right in the middle of the quotes we got, however, for the value and quality I believe Sebring was the best selection we could have made. I wholeheartedly recommend Sebring for any remodeling project you may have. We will definitely use them again in the future if we decide to undertake any other major renovations!

The quality of the work was fantastic. The outcome was great. My issues with Sebring was the service and customer care. We felt like we got the standard bait and switch of the sales pitch by Bryan. The beginning of the project was excellent, great customer service and communication. We were given a project plan, estimated times/dates, and targeted completion date. After the 2nd week of the project, no one seemed to care about the plan or dates. In-fact, many of the workers made comments about they didn't even know a plan or design existed, they just get notified the day before where to go and asked the owner (me) what needed to be done. Of course, the project ran over a month past the "it should take x to y weeks". Of course we believed the y or greater number as I didn't expect this to be completed on the short end of the scale. I am ok with a few weeks delayed through staffing issues such as someones kid is sick, but we are talking more than a month and half past due. Our concern was we had full weeks no one would show up at the house. I felt like they started well, however, moved on to bigger projects leaving our bathroom only worked on when the workers had half days or cancellations. After working with other contractors since then, I've found better customer service elsewhere. However, the quality of work this company provided was excellent.
Description of Work: Sebring Services built our dream bathroom. Took an ordinary bathroom and built a wonderful master. The original was gutted and a completely custom one was built.

This is the challenge of written schedules and the reason why many other contractors don’t like giving customers written schedules. Every schedule we create has in big bold red lettering: “This is a tentative schedule used to forecast an order of events to be completed in a timely manner. This schedule may vary due to unforeseen circumstances or situations out of our control.” But some customers believe that everything is supposed to run perfectly and finish exactly on the date estimated. From material delays to sick employees to inspectors that are having a bad day, delays happen on every project. When we have a delay, we try our best to balance getting the project done quickly and not allowing the quality of craftsmanship to suffer. We have been using schedules since 2005 and find them very helpful in running the day to day progress of a project. After this project was completed, I talked to the homeowner about his concerns and how we could have been better at communicating these delays. So as of January, we started using a new online scheduling and communication system that updates the schedule weekly. It helps communicate all aspects of the project on a regular basis. And we have had rave reviews! A note to the homeowner: I know there were many special circumstances that delayed your project on both of our parts, but I am so glad you love the final result of your beautiful bathroom. I appreciate the feedback. We look at every critical review as way to grow and make us an even better company. Bryan

Thank you for the kind words (and the referral to your friend.) It was a pleasure working for you.- Bryan
We hired Sebring, based on reviews in Angies List and a neighbors recommendation. Our project was a basement remodel - actually a build-out of an unfinished basement. Roughly 25'x 35' space in which we framed out the walls, installed standard wiring with a complex set up for audio/entertainment area and put in a new full bath. On the way we installed some different duct work in another area of the basement not in the remodel plan and installed whole house humidifiers (again, not covered in the original proposal). Having contracted for this type of work before we were looking for three things: 1. A complete and clear proposal with a project plan that showed they knew and understood the scope and scale of the work to be done 2. Solid project management skills combined with a background in the type of work required 3. Outstanding reputation with both customers, and more importantly, with any required sub-contractors Couple of random notes/suggestions. First, if a perspective contractor does not have great relationships with his/her subs - run - do not walk - away from that contractor. If he/she will screw the people they work with every day, you can not even begin to imagine what they will do to YOU. You can find this out with a little research and just a couple of phone calls. Just ask for references (and do check them) and ask for the names of his/her subs. Ignore this at our peril. Second, look carefully at pricing on bids compared with what needs to be done. If you don't understand it have someone who does look over the bid/proposal. Third, (and related to number two above), buy low and you WILL get bitten. Learned this the hard way listening to others and by making foolish mistakes myself. There are a thousand details that poor bidding and project managers fail to include in their proposals. They will attempt to make that up later when they figure out - too late - that they underbid your work and then attempt to make that up on change orders. As to the project itself, Sebring exceeded all of our expectations. And at the risk of sounding like an ad for these folks here is what we experienced: -DETAILED project plan and timeline vastly superior to anything submitted from any of the other contractors we spoke with. -Absolutely outstanding crews (both direct folks and sub-contractors) Special mention for painting (great job and tremendous help picking colors) and the HVAC crew. Also their carpet guy. I took us a minute to figure this one out since we were going to have someone like Costo do it. Don't. The price is close to the same for the materials the difference is in the install. Also since it is their sub doing the work if the walls get damaged or paint is scuffed there isn't any of the blame game to make things right. -Great project management skills by our PM Percy -A good, accurate, well documented and fair price for work performed. High end of the four bids we got - but if you buy these types of services on price alone you don't understand what you are buying and you're likely to buy discount brain surgery too, so good luck with that -Attention to detail by every skilled tradesman on the job -Kept our house and the project area clean during construction -Said what they'd do and did what they said -Most importantly, an honest "we'll make it right" attitude. Screw ups will happen. Get used to it. The framing team on our job put the ceiling frames at a height we did not like. There was no finger pointing, no excuses, no up-charges to make it right. They just said "Okay", took the incorrect frames out of the entire ceiling, redid some electrical work and fixed it. Period. Absolutely recommend and use again.

Bryan walked through our basement with us, and was one of a few folks we had quote the job. His price was squarely in the middle, and his proposal was the easiest to follow. He had good insight into the permitting process, and offered good ideas for finishing our basement. He was our "runner-up", and should be on your short list if you are considering finishing our basement.

Thanks for the opportunity. From your email to me, it sounded like you decided to go with a contractor that was a little more expensive but you had worked with in the past. I always suggest going with a contractor that you trust and have a history with. Too many people base there final decision solely based on price, so I certainly understand your decision. You we're awesome to work with for the short amount if time we did. Good luck on your project and the move into your new home. Happy Thanksgiving!
