 + -1 moreIt went well, no issues, and the owner and an employee did the work, covered the ground, and left. They were polite, and friendly, and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Oh, and they sell their organic honey at Puckett's in Leipers Fork, TN. So, that's a plus as well!

 + -1 moreFirst called plumber to ask if I needed a plumbing call or a septic service after describing problem (small stream of water flowing from ground near edge of patio. Water clear w/o odor, but adjacent to septic tanks). Was referred to Robbie w/ suggestion that I might have saturated field lines. Mr. Poyner quoted 1,000 gal tank at $250 and 1,500 gallon tank at $300 over phone and offered to visit same morning w/o trip charge (very heavy rain had apparently slowed his work). I appreciate the courteous service call and troubleshooting at no charge. I was not pressed to have tanks pumped, but was simply advised to watch stream to see if it would stop when we had no additional rainfall. Steady trickle was present for 24+ hours, but has almost stopped. Likely source: break in gutter drainpipe that runs under concrete patio. I will not hesitate to use Poyner Septic when my routine septic service is due.
Description of Work: Referred by Joslin Plumbing. Mr. Poyner (and son) located septic tank locations, explained configuation of my pumps and tanks. Determined that my above ground water stream was not coming from my tanks or field lines. Made recommendation for future service that would include adding a collar to access tank w/o disruptive digging. Then checked my water meter (while I turned faucet on and off) to confirm it was highly unlikely that a leaking water pipe was source of problem.

Description of Work: Called Poyner to pump my septic tank. Even though it was a bit of an emergency, I was still pleasantly surprised at how quickly they responded to our call. They gave us some valuable information as well. I will call them again in the future.
