Pella Windows and Doors

The seal to the attic is not perfect so dust gets in and blocks lens. Needs to be cleaned once in awhile.

The work is done by a professional and the windows look good.

Not sure if this location handles the Memphis market, but sales rep misrepresented products and used our lack of nomenclature to sell us something different from what we had and what he demoed. Business backed him refusing to exchange windows and had to go through BBB and contact owners out of NC.

We have used Pella for replacement windows for several years. They replaces all our upstairs windows and four downstairs ones. They are beautiful!! The workers that came to do the work are very professional and considerate. It was a great experience.

Actually, the work I had done by Pella was longer ago than stated (the form only went back that far). I was very pleased with the work. The room is much brighter and we can actually see the yard. In that room I also chose the blinds within the windows and am very pleased with those as well. Pella did good work for me.

they are VERY Pricey but great quality. Aluma Clad replacing wood. No more painting...no more rot.

Great service. Knew exactly what we were looking for. The only problem with pella is the price. WE have been extremely happy with the products, but man o man were they pricely.

I had done independent research on window replacemets & liked what I saw with Pella. I scheduled an in-home consultation. The sales person (Nicole) came to my home (as a single woman I appreciated a female consultant in my home). She had samples of the products & was full of information & sugestions, but was not at all pushy. They have many choices of style, colors & other custom touches I did not see with other companies. I chose a window that perfectly matched my wooden interior frames & metal exterior. The install team was wonderful...really respected my property & did an awesome job. I love, love, love the product. They are beautiful, easy to clean and operate & have saved me money on my heating & cooling bills. They are a little pricier than some of the competition, but well worth it. The full warranty applies if you purchase from the factory & they install. If purchased & installed by a home improvement company (like Home Depot) the warranty is not as good. I am very happy I purchased & installed directly with Pella!

We saw the door at a home decorating and remodeling show in September 2013. We spoke to the sales representative at the show to get a ballpark price. He asked to set up an appointment to come to our house and give us a detailed price on the door if we were interested. He said he would give us a callfew days before the appointment. When we did not hear from him the following week, we called him. He said he didn't have us on his calendar for that date, but he would be in our area on the following day. This was the first red flag, but we gave him the benefit of the doubt because we considered that there must have been a lot of potential customers at the show and he could have accidentally overlooked the appointment. The sales rep said a second person would have to come over to confirm his measurements for the order. We set up an appointment for that visit, but when that day came, no one showed up. We had other workers in and out that same day because our garage was hit by lightning a few days before this appointment, but the Pella person said he came and no one was home and he waited a half an hour! A roofer was at our house at the time of the appointment was scheduled and could verify I was there. No phone call. No nothing. We called Pella and the scheduler rescheduled the appointment. Red Flag#2. When the sales representative wrote up the contract, he put in a tentative install date of 10/19/13. We told him that date was not convenient for us because we were scheduled for vacation. He said that is was just a tentative date and the scheduler would contact us to set up a firm date. When the Pella scheduler called, she wanted to set an appointment earlier that the tentative date, but it was still a date during the time we would be out of town. The next mutually convenient date was 11/7/13, which was the date set. Meanwhile, Pella charged our credit card for the full price of the door even though it was not installed. About a week before the install date, we received a call from Pella to change the installation date because the installer had an emergency on that date. They wanted to do it on a Saturday, but we had to have our security provider reinstall the alarm on the new door. The security company does not schedule that type of service on the weekends. The Pella scheduler set up the installation instead for Friday 11/8/13 between 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM and it would take 3 hours for a typical installation. On Monday 11/4/13 my husband called to ensure that the installer would be here on Friday. The Pella scheduler said that the installer would be here on Thursday 11/7/13 between 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM like originally scheduled. My husband questioned this change back to the previous date, but she assured us that is the correct time and date. Red Flag #3. No one showed up. When my husband called the scheduler, she let the calls go to voice mail. He called thee times between 9:00 and 10:00 AM and left messages asking the scheduler to call us. I called the sales department in frustration and asked for a manager. The managers were not available, but the installation manager would call when he got out of his meeting. After much venting, the installation manager said that the installer would be at our house between 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM the next day, 11/8/13.The installer had one job before us that would take 3 hrs, and he would have the door on the truck so he would not have to go back to Nashville before coming to our house. At 1:38 PM the next day we get a call from the installer who was in Nashville and had not had a lunch break yet. He would be at our house around 3 PM. Now we are concerned that this is going to be a rushed installation because the 3 hrs would end up after 6 PM on a Friday. Thoroughly frustrated at this point, we called the sales rep. He said, "What do you want me to do?" The installation manager was on the road, but the sales rep would try to contact him. Life is too short for this type of aggravation with missed apppointments. No one at Pella took any responsibility for the constant screw-ups in scheduling or for the lack of consideration for their customers. The installers did a good job when they arrived. The door is high quality, but it was not cheap.

Our sales rep (Nichole Reinhart) is very professional and provides accurate estimates of costs, scheduling and always follows up after work is completed. The installer's arrived on time and completed the job timely.

It took about three and half days to complete the work. They brought a crew and they were all very efficient. Their sales person followed up on the work. He even came to the site to ensure we were satisfied with the service. The sales person also said that if we had any issues or questions, to contact him directly. They did a great job and I was pleased with the service

They were courteous, clean, and completed the work quickly. They were on time and professional. We have no problems or complaints. Our energy bill has decrease significantly since they installed the downstairs windows.

They also gave helpful recommendations and suggestions of where to install the cabinets. We adjusted the cabinet order based on their personal suggestions. They were very professional and clean. Everything went as promised, on time with no problems. Excellent cleanup and post installation check up.

I bought the 350 series Pella double hung replacement windows from Lowe's on Charlotte Pike. I could not be more pleased with windows. The windows are very energy efficient and look beautiful. After they were installed by Lowe's, installer was Mike who did a excellent job, a Pella rep. came and inspected the windows. The Pella windows look beautiful on my house, inside as well as on the outside. I love them!!

I would say that they're a little bit expensive but the for the quality of work that they do, it's worth the extra money. I'm super satisfied with the windows indoors. My utility bills have gone down about 40-45% over the last few months.

The entire process went so well, from estimate to installation! VERY high quality storm doors with heavy locks and very well made doors. We were kept in the loop about installation dates and times. Installers were extremely professional, took great pains to make sure we were happy with the doors, and instructed us in their operation. You get a level of door from Pella you just won't get in a DIY store. We could not be more pleased!

Jason Cozart was our salesman and he was great. All the measurements/window sizes were correct. The crew they had install the windows were also wonderful - friendly, skilled, cleaned up their messes, were nice to our little kids running around and bugging them. One window had to be replaced because it had some kind of discoloration that was a manufacturing defect - just called Pella, gave them the window number, they ordered it and soon sent someone to replace. No problems. The replacement of one door was very tricky and required tearing up some brick on our porch, due to the way the old door was installed in the 1940's. Jason and the installer figured out how to install the door, and came up with the option of making a little slate step. I liked that idea, so Jason sent a guy out to have me pick my slate and then install. I was especially pleased with that, as I felt it went above and beyond what we would have gotten from a cheaper complany.

They did a lot of structure work in addition to just replacing windows.They did a fabulous job. We had a brick wall facing the backyard that had two windows on the sides and they replaced that with a wall of glass with French doors and transom windows. Then, they put in some other windows around the house. They were very professional. The windows have held up quite well. I am very pleased with their work.

This was not a good experience and I was very disappointed in the salespersons response to the situation. This was a simple two window replacement project - we have intentions of replacing the rest of our windows in the spring. This was a test situation which this company failed misreablly. Met with the salesperson and explained what we wanted to accomplish . Signed the deal - she sent the gentlemen out to measure - and a month later they called to install the windows. The installer arrived and luckily double checked the windows before he ripped out the exisitng windows. They were wrong and they ended up reordering the windows. Several weeks later they called to install the two windows and we scheduled a time. In the meantime I received a call from their accounting person to "collect" on my balance due. Mind you the windows were not even installed yet. The installer I first spoke with sent two of his employees to install teh two windows. They were the most unprofessional, careless pair I have ever worked with. I honestly think they just didn;t know any better and their work was sub-standard at best. When I e-mailed the sales rep the next day with photos of the installation she said that wasn't like her installer to do that - but photos don't lie. The installation manager came out and apologized about the installation and agreed it had to be redone. Due to weather and my travel schedule it took a few weeks for this repair to be completed. The sales rep did not contact me to find out what the resolution was and when I contacted her to tell her that I was disappointed that she had not followed through - or even offered any compensation for the additional time it took out of my schedule as well as the time it took to complete the job. Her response was that this was not typical of their work and basically tough luck. Not a way to win customer and in fact I am in the process of looking for replacment windows and I would not consider this company if you paid me.

The windows keep the integrity of the home and work great. Craig and his installation crew were very nice. They arrived promptly and were very careful in my home. Excellent.

The job went great. The men that did the installation were very knowledgeable, very courteous, and very thorough. The lead man on the job made sure everybodye on the crew did everything just right. I would use them again in the future.

T We contracted with Pella Windows in October 2011 to remove and replace two single-hung windows and a large bay window in our kitchen with two "ProLine" wood-clad, double-hung windows and a new bay window, each constructed with double-paned insulated glass and argon. The result was amazing, as we no longer had to wear sweaters amd warm clothing whenever we sat next to the new windows on a blustery, cold winter day. The sensation of draftiness literally disppeared overnight. We were so impressed with these windows that in late August 2012 we elected to have thirteen other weather-worn single-hung windows throughout our home removed and replaced with identical "ProLine" double-hung windows. The combined cost of these two projects exceeded $24,000 -- a staggering sum perhaps -- but we think it was money well spent. The old adage "You get what you pay for" is certainly true here, or as Warren Buffet once observed: "Price is what you pay. Value is what you get." We are extraordinarily pleased with the quality of our Pella Windows, and without a doubt these new windows have added considerably to the overall appearance, value and heat/cooling efficiency of our home. It is gratifying to know that American craftsmanship and pride in production still exists in this country, particularly in Iowa. We'd recommend Pella Windows to anyone. Pella subcontracted the installation of our new windows to Hoskins Windows, and promptly at 9:00 AM on the day of installation Andy Hoskins and his four-man crew arrived at out home to begin the day-long process of removing and replacing the specified 13 windows throughout the house. Quite simply, if you choose to buy Pella Windows, these are the guys to ask for. As it usually takes five to six weeks from the time your windows are ordered to the date of installation, such a specific request seems to be easily arranged. Without exception, each installer was exceptionally polite, extraordinarily congenial, but most important, remarkably adept in each of their assigned duties, whether that was working inside or outside of the house. What's more, they took great pains to work as tidily as they possible could, and made a minimal mess throughout our home, cleaning up as they went. Their work could have easily been showcased on the PBS television show "This Old House", as it was performed with great diligence and professionalism and with seemingly astonishing ease, the obvious result of many years of combined carpentry experience. It was a real pleasure to have them work on our home, as they were all skilled craftsmen. And if this is of any importance to you (it is to us!) English was not their second language. They were all born American citizens.

Overall, very happy with the product and instillation was outstanding. Will be doing business with them again in the future.
