NiteLites of Middle Tennessee Outdoor Lights

NiteLites came out to do a free estimate. They were one of 3 estimates and had the best price. Turns out they had the best service also - with Owner Dave being excellent to work with. Dave made great suggestions on how to best showcase our home. (Our home is an average size home and the nite lighting just made it more beautiful.) Dave came to my home on time at the agreed upon date and time. We talked about my lighting needs. He showed me on paper where the lights would be placed to give me the best look for my home. I already had some ideas but Dave offered some suggestions that we ended up going with. We also lite up some trees in my back yard that I wanted lights in. Dave told me when the lights would be installed, I went on vacation and when I got back my house looked awesome. I couldn't be more pleased. I am not saying that it was cheap, but you get what you pay for and the quality of the lights that were installed were very nice and should last a long time. I would highly recommend NitLites for your outdoor lighting needs.

It was fine. They are good folks, they do good work, they are reliable and competent. They show up. It is not cheap. The guy is good, he is knowledgeable, friendly and outgoing. Everything was good, but it was a little more expensive than I thought but I have not bought light bulbs before. I got parts and pieces from them and I had them mail lights to me.

When I had issues, I don't know if they transferred ownership or what, the service was terrible after that. The guy now has had the business for a few years now, but evidently during the transition, he was overworked so I went to another company because of the lack of service. They were supposed to provide a lifetime warranty on the power boxes themselves, and I had one go out, that is why I called them, and he never came to replace it. Originally the install went great, it was the service I had issue with. The people I called for service were not the same people who installed. There was lack of response on a service call. They were less expensive than competitors. They never showed up for the service, but they were responsive when they installed it.

He has my system installed, and is currently doing some tweaking. He started working on the job last week and the estimated time of completion is today. He may come out to do more lighting around my pool. He's also adjusting the voltage for the lights. He's also checking the lights in the evening. He's very very good. It's a small team - he and two others -- and all have been very professional. The products that he uses has been solid brass with a 15 year warranty.

Dave Thoma came and looked over property and gave estimate of work to be done. Unlike other companies, their bid was 'all inclusive' and didn't nickle-dime for additional wires or contain contingencies. They weren't the cheapest, but Dave gave a professional impression and I liked what he said about light placement. We were able to work off my existing transformer and changed some halogen bulbs to LED (@$75 each!). This allowed for the backyard to have lights added on the same tranformer. The installation went well, on-time and in budget. The system works just fine and looks terrific. Highly recommend.

I had 4 vendors come out and give me a quote. Dave was the most knowledgeable and provided the most comprehensive design. He also gave me some pricing options that made his service out top choice. We are very pleased with the look of our landscape lighting.

Dave Thoma promptly responded to my call, came to the house the next day, attended to our preferences, designed the installation, provided an accurate estimate, and performed the work two days later. The installation entailed numerous fixtures around the foundation and on the lower roof of the residence, as well as uplights on trees and shrubs. The work was done promptly, carefully and professionally. Dave Thoma is a really nice guy, who will work with you on price to get you plenty of bang for your buck. He is extremely conscientious, knows his business, has excellent help, uses only durable, high quality fixtures and materials, and, when he is gone, you will never know he was there - until it gets dark. Then, you will be delighted. I know we were. Very pleasant experience on all fronts.

This was an upgrade and was not an install. The person who came out was very knowledgeable, really understood his business and was looking to save us money, not cost us money.

Dave was awesome! He was very informative and had great ideas for lighting. We took our time making a decision, but Dave remained patient with us, answered all of our questions, and even met with us several times. We absolutely love what Dave did for us. He was always punctual and after installing all of the lights, you couldn't even tell he had spent hours digging, drilling, etc. Everything was picked up, put back in place if it needed moving, cleaned, etc. Highly recommend Dave!

Dave Thoma responded to my inquiry promptly & met with me personally @ our home to learn what we were hoping to achieve with lighting. The quality of the fixtures is superior to any I have seen with other systems & the option for LED bulbs was also something we wanted. Dave came up with a plan that we agreed to & quickly had it installed very professionally. The system is more expensive than systems we've had at our previous home, but the quality & installation is much superior....you get what you pay for!!

Dave Thoma from NiteLites came to the house to give us an estimate. He arrived right on time, as scheduled and emailed the bid for our house the next day. Once we had other estimates from several other companies, we contacted Dave again and he came back out to the house to give us a demonstration of what the lights would look like at night. This was a wonderful way to see the difference in his products as compared to other companies. He then sat down with us and described the difference between LED and hallogen and then explained why we needed the number of lights he had suggested. While NiteLites was not the least expensive of all the bids we got for this job, we are thrilled with the results and realize that "you get what you pay for." Dave and his assistant arrived on time to install the lights, cleaned up after they left and the results of the outdoor lighting on the house are outstanding. We are extremely pleased with the way the house looks and are confident that the lights will provide added security. We highly recommend NiteLites and Dave was a pleasure to work with.
