We hired Shawn to mulch our landscaping which included several large beds around our yard. We were thoroughly pleased with the job he performed. He worked tirelessly all day and did a very neat, professional job. He was able to perform the job in a timely manner and we would definitely use his service again. The beds have never looked so good!

His estimate was more than fair and the work done quickly and professionally. I would recommend this company to anyone.

Shawn is awesome. He was prompt in his response to me. He came out and gave me an estimate within a few days of calling. For the size of our yard, I felt his price was excellent. He also would only perform services if he felt they were needed. That was very helpful. I can't recommend his services enough.

The work was completed in one visit. The outcome was better than I expected. My yard was completely cleaned up and the landscaping was back to its original beauty. As for the gutters, they were cleaned and ready for the next rains. I was very happy with the response after my initial call to them and the job was done in a timely manner. Shawn is polite and respectful and gets the job done! He even took some time to educate my son on gophers & moles. :) This is the second time I have called Merryman's Custom Lawns and it will not be the last!!

Merryman's Custom Lawns, Inc has been mowing my lawn since June of 2013. Sean and his workers do an excellent job and mow my lawn as I have instructed him to do. He mows, edges and blows the lawn each time he is here. The lawn looks professionally groomed and ready for the next week. I always look forward to having Sean at my home as he is professional, friendly and courteous. During the summer months he even goes to the extent of asking if I want the lawn mowed when drought slows the grass growth. As a result, he only charges for the actual times he mows the lawn. I would recommend Sean to others in need of lawn services.

I don't think we'll be using them again. They were supposed to clean out a landscaping bed in front of the house I bought and re-mulch everything. It looked like he took aeration out and discovered I had a mulch. I ended up paying an additional $190. Communication wasn't exactly what I was expecting, they sent out an e-mail Sunday night and it was like, 'Hey, if tomorrow is good for you, let me know and I'll give you a call in the morning.' I confirmed and he just showed up. He was really nice.

They were friendly , efficient, professional and very reasonably priced. I will definatly use them again and recommend them to others.

They did a great job. The pricing was fair, and they got the job done in one day. The mulch bed and plants look perfect. I will use Merryman from now on.

Provider responded promptly by phone and was to call before he came to give a bid. He arrived unannounced to do so.

I contacted Shawn via phone and email on a Thursday evening. Finally received an email on Sunday evening asking for details of the work I wanted completed. I responded immediately with the answer. I got another email the following Thursday apologizing for not getting back to me sooner stating that he had gotten me confused with another bid he had just completed on my street. He asked if he could come the next morning at 9:30. I responded that that would be fine. I made arrangements to be home for the appointment. He never showed or called. I followed up with another email but he never responded.

I called and emailed on a Thursday night requesting an estimate for tree relocation, mowing, landscaping, and/or fertilization. Three days later I received an email from Carolyn stating that they do not provide mowing services in our area and requesting information on the landscaping portion of my request. I responded to her email within five minutes. I didn't receive a response back so two days later I sent another email asking if they were interested in providing a bid or should I try another provider. Again, no response.

Pleasant and performed job effectively.

They've shown up on time, weather permitting, and done an excellent job.

Shawn has done a nice job. His company provided a spring clean up and is now handling the weekly yard work. He communicated well through email and his phone. When something needs attention, I just email him and he takes care of it.

We found Shawn on Angie's list and called for an estimate on weekly lawn maintenance. Shawn was very friendly and responsive. He came by our home and walked the yard. He was professional and easy to talk to. Shawn quickly provided an estimate which we thought was very fair and he started the service the next week. They are very dependable and do a great job. We would definitely recommend their service!

I wasn't happy with my prior mowing provider so I decided to switch this year. Shawn, the owner, met me at my house and we discussed what I needed. He provided me an electronic quote that I was very happy with. He does a great job and keeps me informed by email if he didn't cut because of rain or whatever. He cuts only when it's needed instead of on a specific schedule. The billing is electronic and I pay with paypal so I don't have to write checks and spend money on stamps. I am very happy that I switched to Merryman's and no longer have to worry about my mowing services. I really like that everything is electronic and I can send an email if I have any questions instead of playing phone tag.

I called this company 3 times, and emailed 2 times and never got a response either by phone or email from this company. Very poor and unprofessional to not respond at all. I asked in my phone message that if he would like to do the job for me to call me back and I never heard from them. Will not contact them again for services and would not recommend them.

The gentleman was very professional and pleasant, but I decided against using him because his prices were too high.

I had purchased a deal for this company while living in East Nashville. Unfortunately, my house was outside of their service area so I was unable to use their service. However, I have them an overall "A" because they were very accommodating and understanding of the issue and refunded the total purchase price of the deal. The site does not allow an overall grade of "N/A". The only reason I would not use them is only because I do not live in their service area. I would suggest confirming that you are, in fact, inside their service area via phone before purchasing.

Sean came out to our home and I explained to him our goal: we purchased a home that had a lot of small landscape items that builders tend to put in and as many others find, they look great at first but become overpowering when they grow. With his help, I decided that four large shrubs needed to be relocated and a few others weeded out. Sean did a great job, labor intensive, and was very neat and professional. He had stressful conditions too: puppies that were trying to dig up what he was planting! I found Sean to be pleasant, professional and competent. I plan to use his services again.

Mr. Merryman is very professional, very punctual. Prices are reasonable. He does the work himself, so I know who to expect each visit. Very nice person.

He did so well that we now have him come every week and service our lawn.

Unwanted bushes were compromising desired plants and they cleared the appropriate plants leaving two beautiful maples plenty of room to grow. He also pruned the maples so they will grow properly with no low-hanging branches. All trimmings were cleaned and our front entrance is now much more welcoming. Thanks Merryman's I will use you again in the future.
