Description of Work: No. Shawn came, looked at the size, location and surroundings of the lawn, made reasonable comments about it, took notes, said he'd send an estimate ... and I never heard from him again. My reservation about contacting him in the first place was because of similar reports of failed communication by others. He seemed competent and pleasant. Apparently he was uninterested in the job. I would have expected a statement to that effect.

Description of Work: Mr. Merryman took care of all of my lawncare. My mower was in the shop and he was very generous to help me out on an interim basis. Very nice and professional guy. My lawn looked beautiful.

Description of Work: We used the "Big Deal" that we purchased for the services of Merryman's Custom Lawns.

Description of Work: Provider was suppose to come to the house in order to take measurements of the property to give an estimate for lawn care services. After speaking with Shawn I gave him my phone and email address expecting to be contacted with an estimate to have services performed. I was never contacted again, apparently he has enough work and can just disregard customers.

Description of Work: We moved into a new subdivision last year where nice lawns are pretty much a requirement. Shawn services our yard on a weekly basis and he has definitely helped us in that area! He provides full service lawn care , so essentially you can request him to provide you a custom package, based on your needs. He is reliable, prompt and reasonably priced. He performs the work himself with an assistant, so you don't need to worry about communication issues. They do a great job and I definitely recommend his services to anyone. Thanks Shawn.

Description of Work: I found this company here and sent and email mid week to ask for a quote. I had a lot of work to be done and explained that in the email. It was a few days (over the weekend) before he emailed me back to apologize for not contacting me sooner and said he would call me the following Monday. It has now been a week since the Monday he was supposed to call and I've yet to hear a word from him. Our yard was a fright and my husbands back is hurt so I ended up going with a man we saw in our neighborhood. It's a shame. We still have a lot of work to do and not sure if this gentleman we found can do all that we require.

Description of Work: Shawn from this company did a great job at a short notice. I had him replace one of front trees with another. He made an estimate and did the job within 2 days to my satisfaction. Will use him for all my needs.

Description of Work: I contacted Shawn on 7/5/12. On 7/6/12 he came an estimated the work I needed to be done. Shawn suggested he had several big jobs coming up the next week but could get my job done on Saturday & Sunday, if I did not mind. Otherwise it may be a week or so. I was very appreciative, since I had a business trip the next week and a family reunion out of state the next weekend. He sprayed to kill weeds, cleared around our plants & shrubs, them mulched them. He also trimmed all the shrubs around the house.We really appreciated the Great Job, hard work, and work ethic. Our yard looks much better and we would not hesitate calling Shawn again.Recommend you check him out. His prices are fair and his work exceptional.We have used Angie's List for several projects and don't know why anyone would do a project or look for a service without first doing due diligence on Angie's List. Description of Work: shawn is my second landscaper and i don't foresee me having to try a 3rd one. He maintains my yard weekly and does everything from maintaining beds to weeding and adjusting the sprinklers. i tried this company on an Angies List special offer- and have loved it. The billing is all done online- and shawn calls me when he is at my home. we rent our home in Nashville and live in Atlanta most of the year- he does everything and if i want to see how something looks - he snaps a photo and texts it to me. i highly recommend this company- and suggest you use him now while he is just starting out- he is reasonable and waaaaaaaay overqualified!!

This was the cost of the first mowing and it was quite out of control and Sean put it back in shape- it looks like a new place! He will be mowing on a regular basis for the season-

Description of Work: Merryman's Custom Lawn Care cleared broken limbs accumulated over the winter, weeded flower-beds, trimmed shrubs and mowed our 2 1/2 acres of lawn and trimmed around trees and driveway. They were on time, cleaned up trimmings and removed them and even picked up the dog's toys in the yard rather than just mowing over them.
