The job was completed in a timely manner at a good price. Paul did an excellent job explaining what areas needed some extra attention and what was required upfront. The job was completed with high quality professional service. Had to contend with rainy weather and Paul did a great job of communicating when he would return and allowed adequate time for things to dry out before proceeding rather than rushing the job and jeopardizing quality.

Presented an oral estimate and time frame for work to begin, payments to be made. I expected him to run over because I thought his bid was too low (it was). However, it was so much lower than competing bids that he could have had to do half the job over again and still come in at the same price. He had us select colors and materials which we were happy doing as we didn't want shabby paint job. He asked for payment exactly as he said he would, asking for 1/3 at start, 1/3 at 50% and 1/3 at completion. An extra payment had to be made because he ran over (we told him this was OK because we only wanted high quality material. He kept us informed. Worked unsupervised, mostly solo, on most days possible given weather, but for bigger aspects of job brought in help. Very friendly. Obviously moderately experienced. Our job was a big job for him with more carpentry and preparation than usual. The paint was excellent. The results were near perfect, certainly very good. The job looked very nice when done.
