Description of Work: My upstairs air conditioner failed. Unfortunately, my system was very old and the furnace was located in the attic with no access to the system. Lee worked with me to have a new attic access installed, they removed the existing system, ran new freon lines, and installed the new system. They were a little higher than the other estimates that I received, but they did come down on the original estimate some. And they were the only installer that could do all of the work, including the attic access. | |

Description of Work: The dishwasher in our son's condo was not draining properly. He called theM and they sent a tech at a mutually agreed upon time. Once he arrived and checked the dishwasher, he saw that the problem was that the former owner had never cleaned the filter. Instead of just doing it, he showed my son how to do it in the future, so he wouldn't need to call them out again for the same reason. And he only charged him the trip charge, since he didn't need to actually make any repairs. | |We lover LEE COMPANY because we live out of state and know our son can call them for anything from plumbing to electrical to handyman needs and they will set up an appointment around his schedule, get the work done right, and teach him a little about his condo in the process. He has called them several times for different things and we have always been happy.

Description of Work: thought we were going to get some plumbing work done for "special $29 Angie's List" deal, but all he did was an inspection, telling us what we already knew! So the answer is, Nothing.

Description of Work: I call a plumber when I need something done. I got an "evaluation" and had I know that was all that was included I would not have purchased. SALESman that came did try to sign me up for a yearly maintenance contract for service. I wanted a SERVICE - not a SALES call. My toilet is now harder to flush and he told me I had a leak (which was not there before this visit). I will not buy a groupon deal again and I will not use Angie's list for recommendations.

Description of Work: Used Angie's List promo: $30 for service call. Obvious clogged drain line. Usual cost with other plumbers including service call and unclog approx $135. Lee plumber said that would be about $200. But for about the same price, he would remove the clogged junction and replumb. I agreed. After the job was done, the bill is $280. Work appears satisfactory. I was pressured to buy plumbing service plan and a heat pump service plan. I declined both. I might, with reservations, use this provider again. But I am skeptical. Not likely for heat pump.

Description of Work: What started out is just a small stopped drain ended up being over 25 foot of stopped up pipe. It took us a while to find the source of the problem and he did get messy in the process, but everything has worked fine since he left. |

Description of Work: Repaired a cut air conditioner line. The line was cut by Home Depot team that was replacing siding on my house. The person with Lee Company confirmed for Home Depot that the line was cut by their worker. It did take 3 different visits by Lee Company to figure the problem out though. The initial Lee Company person believed that there was merely a natural leaking of coolant over time. The next person noted the work being done by Home Depot and sent someone who could actually do the repair out when the problem was finally resolved. |
