Lee Company

They came out on 3 different occasions to check A/C and all three times they found major things wrong that were not a problem before hand. Coincidence? Maybe. Except that the third time I decided to get a second opinion from another A/C company. They confirmed that I needed the repair suggest by the Lee technician. However, the parts and labor were 1/2 of what Lee was going to charge me and that was with a 20% service agreement customer discount. I had the other company fix my A/C unit and called to cancel my service agreement with Lee. A manager called me back and when I explained why and he looked into it he apologized and said that the wrong price was quoted to me and offered me a free year if I kept my service agreement. I told him that before I would make any decisions that I wanted him to go back and look at the other repairs that were done and he agreed and said he would get back to me as soon as he found out. That was months ago and I never received a call back. I'm guessing it is because I have been overcharged more than the time I caught. Their service agreement is such a good deal because they are able to gouge you in repairs (even with a 20% discount) at least 4 times a year (two A/C checks, one plumbing, one electrical) Sometimes a company gets too big and the demands on employees to upsell become priority and the checks and balances are not in place. I would be careful if you hire Lee Company.

I had an active leak and Lee Company sent an employee quickly to just stop the leak. Soon after the plumber arrived and fixed the problem. I had a very narrow time window that morning, I had to leave. I was pleasantly surprised by Lee Company - they did accommodate my schedule and finished the job early! I had a very positive experience with them! Their customer service and technicians' professionalism was excellent!

Called the weekend dispatch. The plumbing technician (Dan Healy) called me right away and told me I was his next call. He gave me an estimate of when he might arrive. He called as he was approaching the house. Spent alot of time in, under, and around the house. Always wore booties in the house and was very informative and courteous. Discovered a leak in an outside faucet that was leaking intermittently and took care of it. He spent a great deal of time with us. Shared info that we had a drain leak that needed to be addressed so assisted in making us an appointment for that non-emergency service. Thank you so much Dan!

The work was a simple job. However, the light fixture is very slow to come on. After turning the switch on, it takes 3 - 4 seconds for the light to come on. We have the same identical type of flouresent light fixture in another interrior location in the house. It comes on immediately when turning on the switch. The rep suggested having recessed ceiling LED (can) lights installed. Price would be around $500.00 - $600.00, not including maybe having to repaint the entire "smooth" white ceiling as spot painting any blemishes where the LED would be intalled would not match. Of course, it just so happens the company also has painters. I expect the flouresent light fixture to die in a relatively short period of time. Would I hire this company again? No I would not.

The technician showed me the picture he took of the leaky evaporative core, which I knew had been leaking. The extent of the leak was no worse than 2 1/2 years ago when another company installed about the same amount of refrigerant. The techinicain made the comment before installing the refrigerant it could all leak out immediately. What a coincidence!! After the tech left the system was not heating any better than when the tech came by to install the refrigerant. He also recommended to have the evaporative core replaced or have a new system installed. A couple of days later, I received a phone call from a sales rep wanting to come by and discuss pricing for a new system. I declined to discuss the matter with the rep. Had another company come by to install referigerant. It took 1 pound at a cost of $110.00 for a comparison in price. The system has been heating as it should for the past 5 weeks. Today, a company rep called to inform me that an inspection of the system was scheduled and they require at least a 72 hour cancellation to avoid a trip charge. I told the person when the tech came out to install refrigerant the tech inspected the system. The company rep was argumentative, claiming the tech "did not do a complete inspection." Oh really!! How could the tech find the problem without doing a complete inspection? I told the person to "purge" me from their customer data base. Would I hire these people again? Absoultely not. They are more interested in selling.

I was very pleased with the technician (Lalo Bermudez) who performed the maintenance and installation. He was very thorough in the review of my AC/heat units and in his explanation to me about what he found. He was very knowledgeable about the Reme Halo air purification system and answered every question I had. We've worked with Lee Company for years and have always had wonderful service from technicians, customer support, and others. But Lalo was probably the best technician we've seen.

Excellent. They are placed where they are convenient, plus Jeremy discovered an issue with the water heater & saved us from an impending disaster.

They were very thorough, and even added duct tape around the air box to make sure it was completely sealed. They worked to reduce the vibration. I am happy with their work.

I was having my crawlspace remediated for mold from a hot water leak and all the rain we got in Alabama caused my crawlspace to flood. I called Lee Company early in the afternoon and the next morning 2 plumbers came to the house and installed the sump pump. The job had them on the clock from 8am until 3pm and there was a lot of standing water in the crawlspace they had to deal with. The price for me was reasonable, but it was not cheap. Then again I found myself in a situation where I didn't have the luxury of getting quotes, I needed the job done that day and Lee Company delivered. It is never pleasant having to deal with emergency plumbing repairs, but if you do find yourself in an emergency situation like this give Lee Company a call. They saved my bacon and I only lost one day of the mold company drying out my basement.

From our first contact with Customer Service to Jose, the tech who came to our house after a very long day, was friendly and helpful. We'd definitely call again!

The technicians have always been great. They diagnosed the problem (water wouldn't stay hot) and saw it was a faulty valve. They ordered the part and told me that John Braun would be installing. I called and asked about installation and was told that either dispatch would call me to schedule or the CSR would. After 24 hours, I called again with the CSR telling me that he personally would call me within the day when I asked. On day 3, a Saturday, I spoke with Nisha, who told me no prior notes were in the system but took it upon herself to not only track down the part but schedule John to come out first thing Monday morning. John showed up, was extremely helpful in explaining, professional and replaced the valve.

I needed small drywall repair and a large mirror hanged on the wall. When I called for service, I was particular to stress that the mirror is heavy and would require two persons. The drywall repair was about the size of an 11x14 picture frame. I supplied all the materials including the drywall and heavy duty hooks for hanging the mirror. I only wanted the drywall repaired, I would do the sanding and repainting myself. The drywall repair was done incorrectly and when I verbalized that, the employee stated, "I've only been doing this for four months." He then told me that if I needed to redo the repair, I should use the pink and I would know it is dry when it turns white. We had to wait for a second person to arrive to help hang the mirror. The kick-plate took less than two minutes to screw in. In the end, I was charged 2.5 hours @ $90/hour. No way did it take 2.5 hours to make that small drywall repair, hang a mirror and screw in a kick-plate. I verbalized that I disagreed with the amount of time I was being charged for, but I told the employee I would pay the money and just not use this company again. The employee became angry and stormed out of the door without the check. I called the company to pay by phone, because I absolutely don't want anything done for me for free, I just don't want to be cheated. I expressed my concern and was told to hold for accounts receivable. No one answered the line after I waited on hold for a while. I will call again to make my payment by phone. If they refuse it, I will mail the payment and chalk the encounter up as lesson learned. I would not recommend this company because they charge by the hour instead of by the job. So, you could end up paying more or less depending on how motivated the employee is or if today is one of his deliberately slow days. NEVER pay by the hour...lesson learned!!!!

The service was prompt and materials provided were good. We were rushed into the agreement, however, and found out afterward that other companies were significantly lower priced.

It went great. They did a very thorough job.

I took them up on the offer wanting an assessment about the water pressure at my kitchen sink. Be it known that they will not do a water heater flush if your water heater is out of warranty. The price for the inspection was fair, otherwise, I would not have purchased it in the first place. The price was attractive because what they really want to sell you is a subscription to their services which gives you a discount. To fix the kitchen faucet problem, it was suggested to replace it with a new one. Even if I had subscribed and gotten the discount, the estimate seemed a bit high as they are rationalizing it by the quality of their parts, labor, and how they back their services. I will not disparage them for that, however, I replaced the faucet myself with a very nice $250 faucet which was less than half the estimate, and that was replacing it with the only faucet on the truck - which was not an acceptable replacement - due to style - and price. The service man was very nice, informative, and professional. I am sure the company does quality work (although I don't know that as a fact). I just didn't care for the upsell, and I think they operate a little on the high side.
