Lee Company

Lee company staff were the most professional, knowledgeable, and courteous people I have ever done business with. The installation went as planned. Installers were on time, considerate of property, clean, worked fast, had no surprises, and final cost was as provided in estimate. Company did follow up contact the next day to make sure I was happy and to answer any questions I might have about the operation of the new heating unit.

With regard to the plumbing work, everything went well with the installation. They came promptly on a Saturday, had the right tank heater with them, and rapidly replaced the broken heater and hauled off the old one. The new heater is working great. The price was a little high relative to other companies, but given the fast response on a weekend, it was just about worth it. Overall, I was very pleased with their work. However: the reason for my low score (C) in professionalism is that from start to finish, the Lee Co. plumbers kept trying to get me to buy a tankless water heater ( 4x more expensive than a tank heater), with a very hard sell. I had fortunately just read in Consumer Reports (October '08) that tankless water heaters are not a good value and may not perform as well as tank heaters, particularly with the hard water that we have. Nevertheless, I kept being told that I should get a tankless heater, even after I had politely declined and pointed out the article.

They were outstanding. Better than anybody I've ever used over the years. They put in a brand new heating and air unit. It was perfectly installed and works fine. We had one service call on a weekend and they came right out. Quality is excellent. If they did the dishes and mowed the lawn they would live with me! Comprehendable prices.

They did a really thorough job. They made sure they found out what the problem was. I am very satisfied with the finished product. He answered all of my questions, and I would definitely recommend him to others.

All good. Lee Company sent out a bevy of experts who got the systems work done in a week. The carpentry and wallboard work took longer, due to the nature of the work, but was done in a timely fashion. Bill Ham of Lee Company's new FM2 service coordinated this project proactively, was always available, good listener, implemented everything I asked for, gave great suggestions and advice, brought in experienced and reliable workers. I have only good things to say about the job.

We had water from the master shower leaking down on to the first floor kitchen ceiling. My mother in law is a member of Angie's List in Atlanta GA and so we decided to become members since we have had considerable bad luck with contractors. Within days after hiring Lee Co. our plumbing problem was repaired and for the first time since living in our home (14 years) we got a service company that not only really cared about their workmanship but kept their word.

It was a very positive experience. Chris the salesperson was very professional, understanding, and punctual. The quality of work was a high level. I would recommend them to others in my area.

This was the first time I had used their services. The quote was right on, and I will use this company again. The guy was great. He was neat, punctual and was not going to leave until I was 100% satisfied.

A few weeks after having the freon recharged in my Air Conditioning unit, it began to fail again. I contacted Lee Company to examine this, and he determined that there was a leak somewhere in the coil on the unit. We were charged for the consultation fee; however, after this visit, no one ever returned to actually perform the repair. Also, when we called about this, we were never able to get in touch with anyone. After a while, we eventually had to give up. This was very disappointing, and I don't think I would go back to this company.

Overall they did a great job. They were on time and very professional. I would definitely use them again. As a matter of fact I need them to come back out and fix a leak.

Lee Company gave us a good quote and very professional. We had no problems with the people that installed the unit, although the job was not quite finished on the day, which I was not expecting and it took a couple of weeks to get them back to finish off. Good upfront service, but weak follow through.

We have a maintenance program and twice a year they check our A/C and plumbing and fix our Gerber toilets (flush mate unit). They were excellent and top of the line. If you are a regular customer they give you a discount on the service. My maintenance with discount is $99.00 and the second call is free. So twice a year it's $99.00

We called Lee Company early on Monday morning, because our AC went out the following evening. They told us they would be out late that afternoon and instructed us to shut off the unit. The technician arrived at 10:20 p.m. (not exactly late afternoon) and flipped on the unit. It seemed to be blowing cool-ish air again, although our house was 85 degrees by then--anything seemed cooler! He went outside to inspect our unit (less than 10 minutes) with a flashlight and declared nothing was wrong with it. Three hours later, I woke up and discovered it was blowing completely warm air again. We called again first thing the following morning and they informed us it would be Wednesday evening before they could come back out to look at it again. They also said they would be charging us for a second service call! We ended up finding someone else to fix it in the meantime and called Lee to cancel. They called us on Wednesday anyway to let us know they'd be coming that night. I explained to the gal who called what happened and she transferred me to a "manager." I left a message with my name, concerns, and phone numbers. He never called back. You can tell from the date that this happened in the heat of summer. I know they're busy-- but I wonder if coming at 10:30 pm (when it was completely dark) wasn't part of the problem. However, It was their lack of responsiveness the two days following that really made things worse. We chose them after checking out Angie's list and having seen them in our neighborhood. It cost me $80, plus the price of having someone else come out, who incidentally, diagnosed and fixed the problem immediately.

The tech came and took his time and was very thorough. Very courteous. Put shoe covers on upon entering the house. Took care of the problem efficiently. The cost above includes the amount of a yearly maintenance plan! Would use them again!

Very good, came in and was very professional, went right to work, very clean & no messes in the house. Explained everything very well, prices very reasonable and they were in and out. I would definitely have them back again!

I got the company name from Angie's List. Lee was very responsive when I called. They sent someone within hours of my call. The salesman was very knowledgeable and professional. He spent two hours with us explaining alternatives and answering questions. He was very flexible on pricing (senior discount and cash discount) and warranty. After getting some quotes from a couple of other suppliers, we picked Lee to install 95% AUFE/14 SEER units. The uniformed crew showed up on time a couple of days later. They were very courteous and efficient, completing the whole job, including a completely new PVC exhaust vent, in just over 6 hours. They even helped me install a new gas stove delivered the same day. So far, I have no complaints.

Todd called at 7:30 AM, and said he would be there within the hour and arrived and began work by 8:30 AM. He completed all installation including adding brackets, modifying bolts, etc. for all 13 fixtures in 5 hours, which is 3 hours less than the original estimate.

The electricians arrived on time, were courteous and cleaned up after themselves. The job went great and I would definitely use them again.

Extremely professional. District manager visited as well just to check in on things. Yearly contract included 2 visits for Heating and AC maintenance, and a visit or free service call for plumbing or electrical, as well a no overtime fees and 10% discount on parts all for $100 per year ... incredible value!

They were rude and charged my disabled spouse, who is a Veteran of Vietnam, $210.00. When I attempted to get this negotiated down because the GE Rep came out and showed me exactly what Lee Company had done wrong, the Lee Company electrical manager for home installations was rude and laughed at us. They are the worst local company. Save your time and money!

With the service plan I bought from them, they do same day service and do not charge any overtime. They provide great service and at an unbeatable price. Everyone should use this guy.

They always do an excellent job. They come out twice a year for a good price and also come out immediately whenever you have a problems. One time they didn't find anything wrong and they didn't charge anything. They are also very punctual and always show up in the time window they say.

They did a very good job on both things; both jobs were done quickly and professionally. They were on time and responded within 2 days of when I called them. I felt the price could have been a bit lower, but they do above average work, so it was worth it.

I really like the Lee Company and the work they do is excellent. The techs they send out are focused on doing the job and not on selling me something I don t need. I believe the price is reasonable with the quality of work they provided.

I have used them for years and I think they do a great job. He runs a good organization and they are an easy company to work with. I would recommend them to other members.
