More expensive than anticipated.

It was okay. It was expensive. We didn't expect that it would be so expensive. The labor was good but the price was high and above average. We would use them again if they lowered the price.

I have a contract with Lee so I called when I found water on the rug. Nice worker found pipe in the area over the leak had come apart, went to get plastic pipe glue and reconnected the pipe Then he repaired the drywall on the ceiling where water had dripped.

They went through every part on the HVAC system which included cleaning the coils. They let us know of any parts the might be on the way out and an estimate of what they would cost to have them replaced. We were also made aware of all the other services they provide and signed up for a deal for them to come out the next time and check out electric as well as the plumbing. I have also recently made an appointment for them to check out our duct work and give us an estimate. I have had a pleasant experience so far with them and would recommend them to anyone looking for this type of service.

This vendor was being used for routine service on an annual contract. The vendor would schedule the service then call a few days before the scheduled date to cancel service stating that they were over booked by leaving a voice message. In the voice message I we were told to reschedule this appointment. Very unreliable for residential heating and cooling service.

Cost may be a little higher, but I never get another estimate because I never have to worry - their work is always good. They are punctual, ask and do things the way I want it done, make suggestions if something can be done another way that is better, finish in a timely manner, and clean up after themselves.

They have good hours. They have professional people. They have people who answer the phones and they respond in the same day. They give you a quote and they stick to it.

We have used Lee for our HVAC units for about 12 years. We have purchase replacement units from Lee for both our systems. I would say we are loyal customers. Over the last 4-5 years Lee has been very poor in scheduling appointments. They schedule them in their system without consulting the customer. Most of the time you get a postcard notice about one week before the appointment, which makes it very difficult to reschedule. They seem to have limited interest in the customer's needs. I get the impression that they are doing me a favor by coming when it is convenient to Lee. The most recent appointment is an example. I called Lee to see when my appointment was scheduled. I had never heard from them as to when the maintenance was due. The appointment they had scheduled was when I was working. When I asked for another date they told me they did not have any additional appointments for another month. After I expressed dissatisfaction with that, they found an appointment the next week. It was scheduled at 4PM. The tech was about an hour late. They guy was incredibly slow. ( This was an anomaly, Lee techs are normally very good and efficient). I had to renew a service contract. They offer was service two HVAC units and a plumbing inspection for $148. I told the tech I did not need the plumbing inspection as I use Hiller for that and the water heater had a warranty that I was afraid could be voided if worked on by another company. The tech said OK. about one month later my wife gets a call from Lee that they are on their way to do the plumbing inspection. She asked the rep why we were not notified and was told they were having trouble with the sub contractor that handles this for them. My wife didn't know what to do so she let them come and do an inspection that really wasn't necessary. I have kept using Lee because both HVAC units are still under warranty. One is about to go out of warranty. I think after this next inspection I will move all this business to Hiller. Hiller never schedules an appointment without calling first and their service is very comparable to Lee. My review was posted on July 4th. On July 5th Mr. Rob Stader, Sales Manager of the Lee Company called me to follow up on my issues. He exceeded any of my expectations. He offered to honor the Hiller warranty on my water heater, set me up with a dedicated technician who I can contact directly to schedule service appointments and even waived one year of service calls. He was so concerned and so much exceeded my expectations I wanted to update this review. He assured me Lee is working to address some of the general issues I raised and is dedicated to the residential market. Good job Mr Stader and Lee Company. You have made a long time customer feel wanted. Thanks

He did everything we discussed, however the price was too high based on speaking to others in the industry. I live out of town and needed the work done immediately. He did an excellent job. I have never heard of having to become a member of a contractor's business to get a better price, so even after I joined the network, I felt the price was too high based on other estimates.

We use them all the time. We have a contract with them and we pay $19 a month. As part of that, we can get an electrician or plumber here right away, which we like. They are not cheap but we get what we pay for. They are fair.

Their associates are professional, clean, and neat and considerate of my home. The associate are very personable, too. They've done a complete and thorough job.

I called Lee to recharge an AC unit. When he got here, he said that I had a leak, and that he needed to charge X amoount to iagnose it. I asked him to just charge it. He told me he had to "cool" the compressor before he did and charge me $115 to use my hose and my water to spray down the compressor. They then charged me about $500 in Freon. I know it was real low, but that is a ridiculous charge. I called to complain and they sent someone else out to diagnose the leak at no charge. They found a leak in the evaporator coil and gave me an estimate of around $1,300. I got a second estimate for $750, which I went with. Lee is probably a fine choice for someone when cost is no object.

They responded within an hour or so of my call. I had guests coming and they (Lee Company) happened to have a tech in the area and sent him right over even though it was late in the day. I was impressed by this responsiveness. The repair was minimal and done reasonably quickly. My only issue was an attempt to upsell me on additional repairs and parts ands possibley the ned for a new unit entirely. I had another company look at the unit and they told me it was fine for another few years. This left a bad taste. I would use them again but be very wary of any "additional recommendations".

My experience with Lee Company was very good. Their prices are higher but the work is very good. They're very professional, they're on time. Their job is the best, they do a good job. Their rates are high but it's probably because they are so good. You can be sure that the work will be done correctly.

Costs for installing the "recirculation system with pump" was estimated at $1,500, and the estimate for the water filtration system was $3,600. There was no credit offered or any offset for the "recommended" comfort system just 4 years old, that is now no longer recommended in 2013. So if I accepted their solution to fix my current problem, I would be up to a total of $10,400 for a tankless hot water system that works, instead of a regular $2,000 replacement gas hot water system in 2009. Is it just me, or is this totally insane costs for hot water? Being unsatisfied with the solution being offered, we ask that someone from LEE COMPANY come out and discuss the available options. Ironically, the same plumbing project manager came out to discuss our proplem that originally recommended the "comfort" supplement system back in 2009. Great, surely he would understand our problem and would try help us sort this out. Unfortunately, he confirmed they no longer recommend the "comfort" system that he personally recommended to us just 4 years earlier. Due to the hard water and scale problem in the middle Tennessee area, it was noted that the problem would just occur again. (Random question: Did he not know this 4 years ago when he highly recommended the added "comfort" system add on to the tankless system, that there is limestone in Tennessee?) So down to solutions offered - Preferred recommendation: Install a true recirculation system with pump (cost of $1,500) and install a Stage 5 Halo water purification system (inline water conditioner - cost of $3,600). Other option, replace the 10 gallon hot water heater (under warranty, but it was noted labor costs are additional), along with the $3,600 Halo unit. We could the continue to use the recirculating comfort system until we decided to update with a true recirculating system with pump, which would costs approximately $1,500 or more later. Both options offered failed to accept any responsbility for the highly recommended "comfort" recirculating system back in 2009. Please note, at no time has the plumbing project manager ever showed us any preprinted materials with associated cost of various goods and services being recommended. At this point, I simply do not trust the represenatives of this company and their unwillingness to share the burden of fixing something they highly recommended just 4 years ago. Either they don't know what they are doing, which in that case, need not be in the plumbing business, or they are simply accustomed to padding their costs, always to their benefit. Bottomline for me, I'm getting a new plumber.

They were the ones who told me that I needed to replace my upstairs air conditioning unit so I had a second opinion about that. They didn't want to put Freon on the unit but up to now I did not replace the unit and is just putting Freon to have it working. There are two guys coming here and the other man is too pushy and and I am not sure of the truth of everything that he told me.

We do feel like they are a little on the expensive side. They?re very professional and trustworthy, but we have had some incidents where we haven?t felt like the technicians knew exactly what they were doing. We would possibly use them again in the future. ** Since our original review Lee company has done everything possible to fix the issues. We are pleased with their response and the fact that they are proactive with customer service.
