Where to start. Purchased Electrical Service Call and Whole-House Electrical Inspection. I had done this twice in the past and got fantastic service and work. Not this time. The work was to find out why our outside lights were not working and to fix. If had time (last service calls we purchased from them was an hour of service work not counting any materials) replace an outside light. Well, he showed up after 5 (which was now dark because no outside lights) to work on this. My opinion the guy had an attitude - I guess showing up after 5 on a Friday to do outside electrical work in the dark may give you an attitude but he should of gotten there while it was light. Spent about 15 minutes trying to explain to him what the problem was and he was in no hurry to do anything. Then I mentioned putting up the outside light if he had time and he said sure that will be $83 . I said what I paid for was a service call. He said that was just to get them out there. It's usually $45. So you do the math: $39 Angie's list special for service call and electrical inspection - $45 there usual rate they charge you to give an estimate and a whopping $6 savings for doing nothing. Not much of a deal Angie. Plus I had a service call - not just come out there with hands in pocket. I told him the other electrician from Lee put up our lights inside and he proceeded to argue with me that he didn't. I told him we could go in and look at the lights he put up. We argued some more and his attitude was starting to get belligerent. He then said he'd call his manager and went back to the truck. I heard bits and pieces and part of it was 'well we've gotten some bad reviews before but oh well' or something to that affect. It let me and my wife know since he was talking to a manager that Lee Company really doesn't care about the reviews on here. He got out of the truck and said yea we used to do that but they don't now and I said I paid for a service call and he said it would cost me to have any actual work done. I then told him I wasn't arguing any more with him, to leave and I'll just call Angie to get my money back. He started to argue again and I told him to just leave that Lee customer service wasn't what it used to be. He turned on his heels got in his truck and sped off. I then called Angie to get my money back from the special which they did. I will NEVER EVER use this company for anything again. I wound up calling another electrical company that doesn't charge anything to come out and give me an estimate (remember Lee charges just to come out). I cannot recommend these people to anyone.

My Lee Company plumber, Justin, showed up on time, after calling the night before to confirm. He very quickly isolated the source of the problem with the faucet and fixed it, thoroughly cleaning his work area when finished. He was in and out in less than 30 minutes, a minor miracle when it comes to plumbing. Highly recommended.

Very well. Bill was friendly and professional. He helped move a large glass top on my dining table the impeded access to the chandelier.
Description of Work: Lowered a chandelier that hung too high. Also found an electrical floor socket I thought was not working, just needed to be activated by a wall switch.

Never got the report after emailing for it twice. The repair costs he quoted seemed highand he was pushing the annual servicing.

It was okay. I wasn't fairly impressed. It was a pretty quick response. Their price was fair. I was expecting a little bit more than that.
Description of Work: I purchased a "Big Deal" for Lee Company. Basically what he did was go through all our breaker boxes, looked at them and tied them up.

The electrician from Lee Company was timely, courteous and accommodating. We had just purchased a home where many of the electrical outlets did not work because the previous owner/tenant apparently used to yank on the cords. I had purchased a special service call from the Lee Company for an electrical inspection plus 1 hour of work, but I didn't need an inspection because I had had already a full inspection prior to purchasing the home and I already knew what work needed to be done. So instead of doing a 2nd inspection, the tech used the full time on replacing the outlets. Mission accomplished! Thank you Lee company for a job well done!

When he got here he quoted me the "book price" for the job even though I had bought the service for $29. He said the $29 was "just to get them out here" so I guess that didn't include any work they did, though the special listing said a service call. He had to reuse one of the pipes since he didn't have it in his truck but yet charged me the "book value" for service and material on top of the $29 paid through Angie's list. Won't be using this company any longer for plumbing. The electrician that has come out and done work for us from this company however is very good and professional.

It was okay. I was expecting something different but I don't even know what they did but the person was very nice and on time. I was pleased with them. There were no additional fees. They were trying to get me to buy the year thing where I pay a price and they will come out and inspect my plumbing or my air conditioning and heating. I did not purchase that but he was definitely selling me a lot.
Description of Work: I used the Big Deal for Lee Company. Maybe they checked the safety of the electrical. They were just telling me where the fuse things were going to which I have misplaced and I wish I had it, where the fuse box was and where it's fused which I was very glad because I did not realize that half of the rooms were on one and the other half on the other.

We paid for a service agreement that included several home checks over the course of a year. There was no advance warning of the service visit, no confirmation and no offer to reschedule it we weren't home. Until, that is, the first appointment of what would have been the next agreement. Then there was a card sent and a follow up call to confirm, but no mention that the technician would be looking for a payment of that visit.

Lee Company reached out to me and explained what was involved in rodding a roof vent. Since no work was performed, they are refunding the price for the service call. I have a better feeling about this company now and would use them again in the future.
Description of Work: They didn't do anything. Charged 49.00 service call and told me it would cost $400.00 more to rod a roof vent. He left with no work done.

We had some light switches that needed replacing. My husband attempted the task, but somehow manged to knock the power out to the entire room. I called Lee Company at 8:15am Monday morning and had a licensed electrician, Bill, at my front door at 2:45pm the same day. Bill swiftly and capably got everything fixed and switches changed in no time. I'll be requesting him by name for any future electrical needs.

The salesman was not as helpful as other companies that I had perform estimates on for the same service. The pricing was far too high and too extensive (approx. $4000 above others but it was advised that a complete overhaul of the ventilation system). I didn't receive any materials or even an estimate the first time I called him out. When I did I got a quick sloppy email with nonspecific quotes. I had called 3 other companies for quotes and this one was the least helpful. I would have preferred to have been given more materials and specific details so that I could research for myself. I went with another company who did give me materials and explained the different options which made all the difference. On my own I was able to determine which system was best for me and am very happy with the results. Had the salesman from Lee Services been more consumer friendly and profession I would have been more inclined with going with Lee Services as I had an excellent experience with their plumbing services. The salesman was not horrible but definitely missed out on a sale if he were better able to meet my needs.

All three technicians, specialists in their individual fields, carried out service on our HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical all within two days. This company and the level of professionalism and knowledge of the technicians they sent out surpassed my expectations in every way. We have lived all over the world and in many different states and Lee Company has excelled and has blown me away. I have never experienced this level of service before and I would recommend other homeowners to take up the $149 a year maintenance contract with them. Two HVAC service calls a year, a plumbing inspection and electrical inspection to make your home safe and efficient is a small price to pay. I was so blown away by the level of service that I called the Manager of Lee Company to express my thanks for employing service technicians that excel and surpass at every level. I would highly recommend Lee Company and will continue to use them in the future.

A representative showed up on-time and was informative about the issues he found and what steps he needed to take to fix them. The pricing was a higher than I would have anticipated for the repairs beyond the "deal" ($195.00).

The estimate for doing the recommended repairs was high due to the fact that they estimate in a manner similar to auto repair places using book pricing such as "Mitchell's manual". So I will have to look long and hard if I want to do the work. The proposed work agreed with what I felt needed to be done -- but it is higher than I have budgeted. Note: This is a house that is about 50 - 60 years old with old Moen manifol

First encountered Lee Company through Angie's List coupon offer for reviewing electrical and labeling panel box. Jacob came out that day which was first week in Sept. He was very professional, competent and courteous. He checked system and also installed a surge protector on the house panel for whole house protection. (about $300). He further provided a quote for other electrical work we anticipated for future project. We were so impressed with quality of service that we made another appt for Sept 17 to install several wall switches; one for a ceiling fan and another an exterior light. I submitted service request on-line and Jacob called to confirm the appt. He also called the morning of the appt prior to their arrival. This trip Jacob came with his brother Will. Both were courteous, competent and professional as Jacob was previously. They worked well as a team and performed an excellent service in the installation. It was obvious they enjoy their work and the company they work for. Jacob spoke of the company's history and pedigree. Their pride was noted in their enthusiasm as they bragged about being a part of Lee Company. Apparently Lee Company is a family owned business which values their employees. That also speaks highly of the company's quality management program. Lee Company has a commercial division, a residential division; they have services in HVAC and plumbing also. I learned of this in their comments. I will definitely call on Lee Company for future projects as they arise. Lee Company will certainly continue to thrive and endure if Jacob and Will are the standard of the company representatives. Job well done!, not only in the service performed but on promoting the notion there are still company's in business which have integrity in the quality of service they provide. Thank You

They overcharged me. I reported to the management that they overcharged me. They called me and they apologized. To change a fuse in the HVAC system, they charged $129. Other than that, I did have a very good experience with them. After complaining to the management, they returned some of the amount. The quality was good.

Abram was fabulous! I wanted an electrician to double check the work that former owners of my condo supposedly had done before the closing, but by an electric company I did not recognize or find in any telephone directory. Also, the company's receipt was illegible. I did not want to risk any person in my new condo getting electrocuted. It turned out to be a very good idea to call Lee Company, because Abram found a faulty outlet on an outdoor balcony that began "smoking" when he tested it! I would not have known what to do had I found this problem on my own. Thankfully, Abram checked the safety of all the outlets.

The HVAC technician called me when he was en route, as promised. This especially important because I have not yet moved into my new condo, and I need the time to drive from my current apartment to meet a technician. Th technician spent the time needed to verify that everything was working correctly, and noticed that me HVAC unit was low on Freon, so he was able to add the needed amount of Freon he carried in his van, This was helpful, as I could not have made a second appointment this week for the technician to return. I am very pleased that I called Lee Company for this service.
