I got the coupon deal for a maintenance check over of my A/C unit. He came on time, was very nice, very professional. He fixed a problem left by a previous repair person who hadn't fastened down a capacitor. He cleaned some things and showed me how the fan capacitor was not working very well and got me to replace it, but he did not clean the air intake on the back of the fan motor itself. The fan motor cooked itself today. I called the company again, and they came out on a holiday very promptly for another $99 to say we were right, it was the fan motor but they want to charge $629 for the replacement. That's around a $500 mark up I'm told. So, I'm out the $99 and have to wait to order a replacement fan. I saw the intake and it's caked with old brown gunk. Wasn't that what the cleaning maintenance call was for?

I'm impressed with how professional everybody associated with this company is. Lee Company came out to give me an estimate for the work I needed to have completed and I subsequently hired them to perform the work. I hired a leak detection company to come and determine where the leak was underneath the slab so that the Lee Service Technicians would know where to bust the slab. Lee Company's estimate was based on the leak being within about 6" of where the leak detection company said it was. Unfortunately, this did not turn out to be true. However, Justin and Jeremy of Lee Company continued to search to find where the leak was coming from and successfully found the leak and expertly repaired it. Additionally, they still charged me for the original estimate even though it required a decent bit of more work than was anticipated. I really appreciate the professionalism and hard work of these two gentlemen and certainly intend to use Lee Company in the future.

called Lee and appointment was promptly scheduled. Chris arrived as scheduled and went to work. Installation went well but as it was daylight it was during the night that I realized one of the new replacements was blinking on and off rather than staying on continuously till dawn. Called Lee next morning and after explaining that I would not be willing to pay a second dispatch fee for work that was done only hours earlier a technician was dispatched. A new technician worked on light and now it is working continuously dust to dawn.

They did a very thorough job, made recommendations, and completed the work we requested.

The representative - Justin, did his job to inspect the areas mentioned above, but in my opinion he was incorrectly instructed by his company. The Deal that Angie's List: $29.00 for a plumbing service call plus a comprehensive plumbing inspection Deal does not include any materials Our toilet needed a flapper replaced and flush valve replaced. The quoted price for the materials was $229.00. The two items that needed replacement do not cost more than $19.99 for a Fluidmaster Toilet Repair Kit at Lowes. The Angie's List Deal clearly calls for a plumbing service call plus materials, therefore my expectation was to pay an addition $20.00 for parts, but nothing additional. In my opinion, Angie's List provided a RIP OFF DEAL.

We have 3 AC units. One was replaced by LEE Co. last year. That one was fine (of course). I was told that the upstairs unit had impending problems that would cost @$2000. to repair and given the age of the unit we should consider replacing it. The downstairs also had some sort of problem, but we were told we could add freon and it would probably last another year. They charged us $130/lb for the freon and told me that was a good price and that it might double by the summer! The sales rep showed up before the service guy could even write up the invoice for the freon. He provided us with quotes to replace the unit that ranged from $13,495 to $18,000.! I called my old technician at All Seasons Comfort (who I now wish I never stopped using) to take a look at the unit. He found NOTHING wrong with it! Also to add insult to injury that he would have only charged $75/lb for the freon. Lesson learned - bigger is NOT better and ALWAYS get a second opinion.

I had a serious heating problem during this winter. Not getting any warm air. I called 3 different companies to identify the problem. I changed my blower motor, housing but no luck. I called Lee Company and they send Wes, the technician who fixed it within a very short time. The unit is now working perfect. Thanks Wes.

They were ok. The only thing they didn't do that they said they were supposed to do is the part of the plumbing inspection was to drain the water heater as inspect it but they didn't do that claiming it was too old, which I don't know at what point things become too old to drain and inspect but anyway.

The experience was okay. They're very expensive but I think the thing that I would, they ended up selling me a home warranty that was very expensive and then every time they come after I bought the home warranty they are still expensive. I would have thought that I would have gotten a better price but for some reason and I don't know why there has been a lot of problems. But I don't know if it necessarily totally their fault but I know a toilet, I started out with a toilet it was going to cost $29 ended up costing almost $300. And the first person who fixed it didn't fix it properly so I had water leak. They did reimburse me for the water leak, but it took time and trouble to get the paper work sent to them as well as figure out how much it was and have them come back because I'm not living in the house. They had to come up three times for the toilet before it was fixed. But I would say the biggest complain that I have about is the fact that with the home warranty stuff still seem to cost so much.

I showed him where my problem was. He asked a few questions went right straight to the source and fixed so that I now have power in my kitchen again.

I had 3 quotations for electrical hook up of hot tub including running wiring from breaker box to deck on rear of house (220 VAC). Mr. Electric was just over $1,000. Mr. Sparky was just under $1,000. Lee was $2,700. I used Mr. Sparky and was very pleased. Lee seemed professional and did call me back and we discussed the cost. He said he couldn't reduce his quote. I'd say use Lee with caution. As always, get multiple quotes.

Excellent work! We had previously had a home inspection done, and have been working on getting the most critical repairs done. We contacted Lee Company on 2/3/2016 to have an estimate provided for the electrical repairs. On Friday, they showed up on time, and we walked through the several electrical issues addressed by the home inspection. After the walk-through, they provided an estimate that was very reasonable, and walked me through the details involved for each repair. Upon accepting the estimate, we expected that they would need to reschedule for the actual repairs, but were pleasantly surprised that they could do it the very same day. They estimated about 4 hours for the job, and it actually took 4 hours and 15 minutes...very impressive! After the work, they cleaned everything up, vacuumed where necessary, and walked me through the repairs that were performed. The work performed was: * install GFI outlet in garage *replace bad kit GFI * replace worn out GFI outlet in bathroom * run a new dedicated 20 amp circuit to kitchen to support microwave * repair garbage disposal wiring to use outlet vs direct wiring * repair water heater wiring to use 4 square box and sealtight vs bare wiring * replace smoke detectors that were 20 years old * install new 2-pole 20 amp breaker for proper locking between breakers * eliminate the double-tapped irrigation system box from the A/C unit, and place on separate circuit * replace fuse-style A/C breaker with 70 amp 2 space breaker style

Worked primarily with Shannon. He's awesome! He also gave me a quote on changing the voltage on the gas stove and a few other things. He also walked around my property and answered random electricity / power questions I had. They had to do everything over 2 days, but they were punctual both times. I will def. use them again! Other reviewers have said that they were pushy with selling the 12 month plan - not my guy. He let me know that the company offered it and left me a flyer, but didn't try to sign me up or anything. The charge for the estimate IS annoying. That's my only complaint.

Service man was through, professional, friendly and did a great job.

For the most part it was good. I'm not entirely sure about that but I think the guy might have misquoted his prices to replace a part on it so I didn't use his recommendation. Other than that service was okay. They came out shortly after the purchase of the deal. Their service didn't cost more than the bid deal price. It's difficult to rate the price because there were separate components in what they were providing. They came out and looked at the electrical systems as a whole and that guy was great, you know, I mean the price I would say was about a B and service was about an A. There was a separate component when the guy came out looking at my central heating and cooling and I get the feeling the contractor kind of ripped me off on that one just based on my research and talking to the people that do that kind of thing. So it's almost like it was two different entities there to kind of discuss. They did do work. They guy came in and I have a couple of light fixtures where they weren't getting any power in the fixtures and he fixed that. They did a great job. They actually came out on three separate occasions. One guy came out and looked at the plumbing and that wasn't any additional cost, he's looked at that and everything was fine. The third time they came out was for the heating and cooling and it was actually just a simple fix that was an issue. It was to replace a certain part and it was going to cost all over a thousand dollars, actually more than the actual unit itself cost to replace so I declined that and went a different way but that was a little suspicious. The most recent time they came out was July. They were timely. I guess you kind of may need to be cautious of any additional services that they may offer I guess is kind of the point. Really I didn't, that was really more a service, I guess maybe the product I was buying I really didn't fully understand what I was getting out of it, I was just wanting to somebody to come by and fix my electrical outlet basically and that's what they did, they, I can say on these other services are not included like I said that he was quoting price. I guess my intention was they wanted to, that was done, you know, I'm so much suspicious of like this one guy. He was basically trying to charge me for something that is kind of ridiculous but I bought into it so I guess that's kind of the precautionary part of it is, they did there job, they did it well, they're punctual but that doesn't mean they're not going to try to charge you for things that may be not, maybe a kind of a rip off I guess. The plumbing was included in the fee, you know, like what ever that fee is that Angie's List had advertised included that. He tried to say, I think, things like oh you could buy this solution or what ever and blah blah blah for extra but the electrical evaluation had like circuit breakers or something you could buy. I mean they all have like additional things and things you can buy on top of that, just a simple evaluation.

I use Lee Company for heating and air conditioning. They're everywhere, I think the guy that comes down here, I think he comes from Tennessee and I can't remember the name of the town, it might be Franklin. He was out here probably September or August, checking for the Winter. I really can't remember honestly how much the cost was, I want to say 69 or 89 dollars. Yes I would absolutely use them in the future.

It was awesome how refreshing to deal with someone so honest and personable. Besides putting me at ease about my issues and the future work I need, he also told me about there maintenance program which seems like a great deal. The company offers so much more then I realized, they are not just plumbing. I will use them for many different things in the future. If the others are like justin this company is very lucky.

I want to thank Lee Co. for contacting me and setting the record straight. After all was said and done, it wasn't the representatives fault. Everything's good and I WILL use them again. It was nice to see a company officer contacting a customer and rectifying the situation!

I will never purchase another angies list deal again!

The young man reported timely, was courteous, neat, and friendly. After it was over I felt that the inspections were a bit high but I was aware of the cost prior to the visit. Not likely to do that particular type of inspection again.

The repair itself took less than 5 minutes. I believe LEE company is engaging in false advertising. I bought one of their $39 service coupons that said very clearly small services were covered by this. But the tech (who was very nice and very good) said that this type of repair (which again took less than 5 minutes actual clock time) was not covered in that coupon and I would have to pay the hourly rate also. I could have taken this up with Lee company but frankly didn't have the time -- and they deserve to be called out here publically. I believe they are luring in customers with the low rate and then charging more. I won't do business with them again for this reason.

They are very professional, thorough and take pride in their work. They are my number one go-to for any plumbing, electrical, or heating/ac service. We feel very confident that they will do a very good job with whatever we need them to do. So glad we found them.

Kevin H. showed us our options and decided to move on a brand new system. They arrived on scheduled apt time, were friendly and cleaned up after the job was complete. They even touched base a few days after to see how we liked to new system. Great company!
