We have had 2 great experiences with Joslin. I called them after noticing a leak between our bathroom and laundry room. They were able to get someone out within only a few hours. When the plumber arrived we quickly identified the source of the leak and fixed it. Courteous and professional throughout.

Sinks work great. Arrived on time, work went well. Will hire again. Always like workers from Joslyn's. Always satisfied with their work.

We were anticipating that the technician would need to replace the cracked toilet flange, but instead he was able to quickly screw on a metal bracket to reinforce the existing cracked flange. The Good: The "technician" was professional, knowledgeable, polite and efficient. We had told the dispatcher we were not in a hurry, yet they still had someone at our house within 90 minutes of our call. The Bad: The price seemed excessively high. We were charged $201 for labor alone for one technician on a job that was finished in well under an hour (the cost of a few repair parts was on top of the $201 in labor). We live just 4 miles from their office and we called on a weekday morning so distance or day-of-week doesn't explain their high labor fees. We had asked in advance what the cost might be, but the dispatcher simply said it would be "time and materials".

I've used Joslin's for several years now and they are reliable and their work is good. The office staff is pleasant when I call to make appointments and always helpful.

Great! Highly recommend. Drew responded immediately to my inquiry, came next day for review of work and estimate - we felt very comfortable with him and most importantly felt he was honest on the overall scope of work and needs. Work was promptly scheduled and they accommodate around my job. On day of work, our plumber was prompt, professional and courteous - we felt he knew exactly what he was doing. We will be having them back to do some future work for new toilet installations and possibly a new sink and faucet. I have found my plumber of choice!

The service was great! They were professional, kind, were in and out quickly, and took several hours less time than they anticipated. The new A/C unit has been working ever since!

They are our regular people that we use all the time. They came right away within an hour. They had come out the time before and told us about it, and they tried one thing and that didn't work. They were very upfront about it and we decided that we needed to have this issue fixed, and it worked just fine.

The service was great. The office personnel who scheduled the service and the serviceman were both friendly and professional. The repair was timely and was done right. We will definitely be using Joslin in the future.

We've used Joslin before and have always liked their service men who have been professional, timely, and courtous. On this occasion I'd put in a call the day before and received a call back that evening on my voicemail to let me know the plumber would be out first thing the next morning for the repair - speedy service! Gave them a A for responsiveness. The next morning I was working at home on a conference call and had not paid attention to time. I had expected the plumber sometime around 8 but had to get on my conference call and thought I would get a phone call when they pulled up in the drive as I have in the past. Instead about 9:30am our dog started barking so I knew something was up and walked past the front of the house to see the plumber had arrived and was out at the curb just beginning to dig up the area around the meter that was leaking. I was surprised he was later than expected - thus the B for punctuality. And, I was really surprised I'd not gotten a call when he arrived to let me know he was on the job. I went out to touch base with him about the process and asked if he had my phone number in case he needed to call me outside to discuss what he found - he told me he didn't have my number but would have the office call me if needed. Ok - not the norm, but acceptable. Then 20 minutes later I realized he had cut the water off - Ok, I really should have been expecting that but a reminder from the plumber would have been nice before it was done. I intermittently went out to check with him about the job. The only time he approached the front door was when it was time for me to sign off on the invoice. The problem stemmed from a connecter right at the meter that had rusted through. So he replaced that with a new "male connector". He told me he didn't have a female connector to use on the PVC pipe that ran up to the house so he put another male connector on that and joined the two using PEX piping that he expanded (with a really cool drill attachment) then allowed to shrink back down onto the ends of each male connector to form a join. Not the repair I would have expected but it appears to have fixed the problem. While he was on the job another Joslin employee came by to check on the job progress. The working plumber had already exposed the leaking part, which required digging a three foot hole, when the other man came by, which kind of made me wonder why he didn't bring a female connector. So while overall I gave them an A for fast response and having got the job done in a timely fashion - it took 3 hours from arrival to when the plumber drove away. However I would have preferred their usual punctuality and good communication so I scored them a B in this instance on those two aspects. Honestly I think this situation was unusual for them - at one point the plumber working on the job mentioned that he'd taken over the job for one of his colleagues who was not feeling well that morning. We have liked their service and honestly in the past and will call them again.

i own rental property. the renters said the shower faucet was running and they couldn't stop it. I called Joslin since my regular plumber couldn't make it right away. Joslin was able to go right there. I never met the plumber, just my renters did. they said he was nice and fixed the problem. I will definately use them again.

Professional, timely! Would recommend.

I have used Joslin since 1999 when my family relocated here from CA. I have used Joslin for yearly Maintenance of my AC unit., plumbing issues etc. In 2013 we put in 2 new AC units we originally only had 1. The only reason we went with a different company was because the other company helped us in donating our 1 unit that was still useable. Their price was comparable to the company we ended up going with. I have had many dealings with Joslin and have always been treated fairly. It was unfortunate that they did not honor the maintenance contract but I understood since it was over a year old. I have recommended them to family, friends and neighbors. I will continue to use them and recommend them in the future. I have always found them to be friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, fair and reasonably priced . They have been in business in Franklin for years and I believe they are family owned. I rated their punctuality good since they sometimes run behind schedule due to unforeseen issues. However that being said they will call to let you know that they are running behind and when they can be expected. Give them a try I don't think you will be disappointed.

The technician was on time, courteous and seemed to know what he was doing. There ended up being a small leak in the solder that was hidden for several days before we discovered it. When we contacted Drew, at Joslin Plumbing, he came out right away...within an hour. He had the plumber come out to do the repair and immediately had Case Restoration come out to try to dry up anything that got wet with their giant dehumidifying machines. Everyone involved was professional and efficient with their tasks. We ended up having to replace tile so it turned into a major job but I cannot say enough about how well it was all handled. Mistakes will happen with any company but I think the real value is in the company that owns the mistake and makes it right. I have told several people already about how impressed I have been with Joslin and all the people they have had come out to do any repairs. Again, whenever there was a problem, it was recognized and taken care of by experts. I give Joslin Plumbing my highest review and we will call them whenever we have need of a plumber.

Tremendous, everything worked great and was cool and comfortable.

A joke from the beginning. Workers showed up day one with no clue what their job was. I had to hire my own electrician to get a live wire they left laying on my garage floor while they attempted to install a hot water heater. A dog was injured from the wire. Late that night long after they had left my electrician helped me finish the hot water install. Day 2 apparently William aka Bubba showed up and let them know what they were actually there for. Couple days later they were finished. A week later I get a bill for $4600. We discussed $2600 for the drain and around $1000 to replace hot water heater. I got no explanation what anything was. I send a check for $3600 which is what we discussed and marked it paid in full with a note saying the bill total is not what we discussed. If the bill was going to be higher wouldn't you inform your customer?I still have not been told what the extra charges are and it looks like they plan on intending to keep billing me. I also have a problem with the fact their worked sat in their truck for 3 hourson the last day of the job because as they told me they were tired and didn't want to go to another job. Was this what I was billed for? My advice, never use this place.

They did a good job but you have to watch them. May be it is a family run organization. I found a small defect on the bowl, it is not ceramic, it is some kind of a chip and two days ago, I recognized it, otherwise it is fine. I had no other issues. I would use them but cautiously.

I have used Joslin Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning in Franklin Tennessee. The last time I used them was back in November of 13. I had them come over my place. I have used them for other things in the last 15 years I guess. They have replaced a commode, replaced shower fixture and also replaced and maintained the air conditioning unit for the last 10 years. In my experience with this company was very good. I can recommend their efficiency, promptness and expertise. It was all done without any incident. I didn't have to call them back. It was taken care of. The price is hard to judge because I don't know how to compare it with others. They were on time. The professionalism is great. I will use them again in the future.

They are very responsive and very pleasant people to work with. They are experienced, having been in business for a long time. They know what they're doing and are well-trained. They are reasonably priced and do quality work. We have used them for more than 20 years and will continue to use them.

Jason came out to look at our malfunctioning heater and found a short in the wire. My wife and I had called Joslin Wednesday morning because our heater had stopped working following a thermostat malfunction, and they set up an appointment for Thursday morning. Jason stopped by on his own initiative Wednesday afternoon to inspect the outdoor unit while my wife and I were at work, and he discovered a short that was charring the wiring in the unit. He may have saved us from a house fire Wednesday night by taking that extra initiative. He pulled the HVAC's fuse to power down the unit and called to let us know what was going on. He was back out first thing Thursday morning and quickly fixed the problems and got our heat back on. Thank you, Jason!

In July 2012 while on my way home from work (approximately 5:00 pm) I got a call from my wife and she said that our house was very hot and that the air conditioner didn't seem to be working. Eventhough it was after 5pm, I told her to call Joslin because they did some plumbing work for us in the past and we were VERY SATISFIED with them. They answered the phone (after 5pm) and had a service tech at our house the very next morning at 7:30am. They confirmed that the unit was bad (a bad compressor) and explained my options in a fair, honest, manner. I decided to purchase a new unit and they had it installed and running the very next day. You will NOT be disappointed with Joslin Plumbing. I can not say enough great things about Joslin Plumbing. They are fair, honest, prompt, and very professional!!! The exact qualities you look for in a service company but are hard to find these days. Joslin Plumbing should be the first and only company you call for any Plumbing or HVAC needs. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!!!! They are AWESOME and a pleasure to work with!! They get an A+++ from our family. PS This review is for their HVAC services; however, I have also used them for plumbing and septic tank issues as well. My review of them in these areas is the same. They are GREAT!!! Fair, honest folks who work hard to get the job done right the first time and they treat their customers in a fair, professional manner. I will ALWAYS use Joslin for my future HVAC/Plumbing needs.

They are very quick and efficient. They were also very well priced. I would highly recommend them.

Great experience. Technician was prompt, polite and thorough. Answered all my questions patiently and in detail. He made recommendations for easy repairs I could do on my own. Basically gave me an education on my HVAC system and how to more efficiently cool the home. Didn't try to sell me anything more. Moved dampers to increase air flow to one room. Explained what I should do in the future when the system needs to be replaced. He even cleaned out an exhaust vent and repaired it after a bird had nested in it. I will absolutely call them again.

Have used them many many times. One time they even changed out my Hot water heater as an emergency on July 3 at the end of the day before the holiday..... they are really considerate.
