Employees did not greet you or make you feel welcome. They were not helpful at all and bordered on rude. When I inquired about the location of where I could find a certain plant they waved their hand in some vague direction and said, "over there". When one of the plants died I went back to the store and asked for a replacement. They told me they don't guarantee their plants (at the time I purchased them the landscaper and I were standing at their counter and the landscaper told me that they were guaranteed for 1 year for everything and none of the John Deere employees spoke up and said that wasn't their policy). I used the landscaper John Deere recommended and who seemed to be very closely connected to the nursey. The day the plants were installed I had them also put in irrigation (for an additional fee) which was installed improperly. That night I had a flood in my lawn and had to call the fire department to shut it off as the break in the line was before the shut off valve in the irrigation pipe & I couldn't reach the landscaper. I have called & e-mailed the landscaper several times and he refuses to return my calls or e-mails. When I asked John Deere to replace the two plants that died they refused and were very rude. I regret having spent $3000 with them and will never buy anything from them again. I still can't get a response from the landscaper and I haven't even asked for reimbursement of the $500 water bill I incurred.
Description of Work: Purchased $3000 of plants from John Deere and used their recommended landscaper who charged me an additional $3000 for planting them.

Description of Work: I previously submitted a previous report on this company. We had bought a special tree, but they had sold it to someone else and didn't notify us -- and their initial response did not meet our expectations. They have since focused attention on the issue, and their response COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MORE CUSTOMER FRIENDLY. They replaced the pervious tree with one of even higher cost/ quality, at no charge

The people of John Deere Landscaping were very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. They loaded the sod into my car and gave me lots of advice on what I need to do.
Description of Work: I had several spots in my yard where between the weeds, extreme heat, and my dog digging holes, my grass looked terrible. I went to John Deere Landscaping to buy some sod. I brought the sod home, laid it down, and within a week after continuing watering, I had a good, healthy yard.
