Jeff, the owner, came out on a Saturday for a service call on my AC unit. Within a few minutes, he was able to identify that the issue was a start up capacitor and he was able to replace it with a part he had on hand. I will definitely use this company again in the future.

I knew I needed a new A/C unit so started checking reviews and getting quotes. Heritage Heating & Cooling was rated very highly so I called. The owner answered personally and gave me a quote that same day. I had the unit installed less than a week later and could not be more pleased. The installers were professional, respectful of my home and finished ahead of schedule while also taking the time to walk me thru the new wifi thermostat. I will be using this company again when it is time to replace my gas furnace. (AND they beat the other quotes! ) Great experience!!

Great! Two gentlemen cleaned the unit in the attic and outside. Unplugged a drain that was causing the AC to shut down.

During very hot weather, the central AC unit suddenly quit working. I called Jeff at Heritage at about 8:00 Monday morning, hoping to possibly get someone there the same day. Jeff responded to my call immediately, was at my house before 10 AM, and the failure was diagnosed and repaired on the spot, quickly and efficiently. Jeff had the proper part to make the repair in his truck, and the complete price of the repair was more than fair. Jeff was extremely responsive, friendly, and professional. I'd highly recommend calling Jeff if you're HVAC is in need of repair!

During the check up he found some problem areas. He gave us a quote (with no pressure). He was timely, professional and direct. It was refreshing to have someone service your unit and leave you feeling like you would honestly do business with them again.

Dealing with HVAC companies typically an exercise in frustration. You seem to only need them when it's really hot or really cold... about the same time everyone else needs them. In the past I'd start calling a list and hope someone would return my call within a couple of days. This time I used Angie's List and placed a call to Heritage during one of those really hot days. Talked to someone named Jeff and we set an appointment for later that morning. He arrived on time, looked at my challenge and emailed a bid the next day. Ends up Jeff was the owner of the company. Very professional. Refused to quote me any of the cheap vendors. Went with high end Trane. Couldn't be happier. Installers worked in my scary crawl space under the house as well as my 120 degree attic. My only complaint was with the downstairs forced air gas heating. Trane wrings out every BTU possible so it speeds up the blower at the tail end of a heating cycle. Actually created a cool draft in the house and could even be loud at times with the multispeed fan. Called Heritage and Jeff came out with a Trane expert. They did a tweak on problem was solved. I'm a very happy customer and highly recommend Heritage.

Tech arrived promptly and attempted to repair a blower on a very old gas heating unit belonging to my 93 year old mother. The tech did not have the parts and could not find them. He did state that if I could locate a part he would come out and install it without another service charge. I finally managed to locate a replacement part. They gave me a ten day return peroid. The next day I called the same repair tech. There was no answer so I left a message. This went on for five weeks I left a message twice a week. I finally called the main office number. No answer I left a message. About two hours later the owner called. I explained the situation he promised he would be out the next morning. Which would have been a Friday. I made sure to keep my phone close and with my mother the entire day. He did not call or come by. I called main number no answer the following week. Same game no answer I left a message. Two hours later he returns my call. I explaine to him the situation yet again. I also point out that he did not live up to his promise of coming out the prior week. At this point he states that the part I have probably won't work. He also states with a rude tone that it is now airconditioning season and he is busy working on air conditioners. I point out to him that my 93 year old mother has heat on as we speak. I had installed the unit and just need someone to connect the wiring it would have taken 15 to 20 minutes. His last comment along with his tone of voice finally got to me after six weeks of waiting for them to live up to their promises. I finally ran out of patence and told him to just forget it. I also informed him I would leave a review on Angies list as that was the way I found his firm.

After they left the furnace was not working at all. When I called them to come back and they wanted to charge me $400. I told them no since it was working before they came out. When I got them to come back out finally they admitted they had stepped on a wire last time and wanted me to pay half of the $400. I told them no again since it was their fault. I was not happy.

Downstairs AC was not working. Called to set up an appointment. They said someone was out in my area and would call me soon. Within 45 minutes I got a call asking if they could come right over. Was at the house in 20 minutes. Checked out the unit, explained the problem and how to fix it and estimated price. (Wasn't sure how much coolant it needed until he filled it up.) Explained to me some probable issues that would be coming soon. (The unit is very old, so it did not surprise me.) He gave me an estimate of what it would take to replace the unit. I'm going to see if the unit will last a little longer with a band aide. This will give me a little time to start putting some back. I never once felt misled or pressured into buying a new unit. I used Heritage six years ago for maintance and some possible cooling issues. The rep was very helpfull in 'educating' me on how the system works. The 2008 visit is what prompted me to call Heritage again. VERY professional, punctual and personable. I highly recommend Heritage for heating and cooling needs.

Both our heating units went out within a few days of each other during this February's awful cold streak. I was calling around to some of the other companies and everyone just wanted to send sales reps out. Jeff picked up the phone around 5PM and we talked through the issues and plan for about half an hour. The next day Josh showed up, took a look, and gave us a reasonable price. They came out (while it was snowing albeit lightly) and replaced everything the next day. Then they made a follow up call to check the A/C in May (can't really check it when it's 25 degrees outside). They also insulated our attic recently under the MidTN electric/TVA program. We've liked the straightforwardness, no sales pressure, and punctuality.

OK I never write reviews, but the service from this company and Jeff the owner made me pay the $3.75 to write this review. I used Heritage about 5 years ago and was happy with their service. This is why I chose to call them again to help me out with my HVAC which my house was in the middle of a sale. The inspection on my house did not go so well. As you know inspectors need to justify their jobs by filling out at least 15 pages of issues to justify the fact they charge $500. The inspector said my compressor was bad on my spit unit and would need to be replaced. (unit was 3 yrs old blowing 58 degree air in July.) I had this unit serviced in the spring with no problems. I had a neighbor (in the business) check the unit and he reported their was nothing wrong. I wanted to confirm so I called Heritage (Jeff) and asked him if he could help clarify the issue. Jeff asked me to send him the inspection report and he would send someone out on Friday. I did not hear back from Jeff and since I was out of town I called him to confirm he would send someone out on Friday. Later I received a text that he would PASS on my business and I should call Hiller Heating and Cooling (maybe they could help me.) WHAT??? I guess the Heating and Cooling business is really good these days. REALLY?? I called him back and left a message to confirm he didn't want my business and to please call me back. NO CALL BACK. I would suggest to all of you considering using the services of Heritage Heating and Cooling to do as JEFF suggested. CALL HILLER HEATING and AIR. Here is the number 615-913-5124.

They were great. They were just amazing. I was very happy with the guys. We had actually used them before on 12/31. They came right away because it was closer to the evening and I was worried about heating for the holidays. They were at our house 10 minutes after I called them. They fixed everything. Both times they came on time and did everything quickly and professionally. I was very pleased. The motor they had to replace was $500. The call was $75 plus the labor. The price was very reasonable.

I had contacted Heritage Heating/Cooling via email on a Sunday through their website after getting their name from Angie's List. Our heating unit was not working over the weekend. I did not expect to hear from them till Monday but Jeff (the owner) replied on Sunday and a technician was at our house at 8 am on Monday morning. Josh was polite and thorough with his inspection of our unit. He explained the options of replacing the rusted part that was malfunctioning or replacing the unit. After consideration to replace the unit he wrote out estimates for 3 units that would meet our needs. He answered my questions and I was to contact him after talking with my husband. I had some questions after going on the internet to research the units he recommended and again he was polite and informative to answer my inquiries. After making our decision on the unit and go ahead with the replacement he contacted the office and a crew was at the house within the hour to replace the unit. The crew of three (sorry I did not get their names) were task oriented and polite also to answer my questions. Before 4pm the unit was installed and the house had heat again. Jeff called to check on the installation and I told him that I had gotten his business name from Angie's List; so I wanted to make sure to give A+ rating to Heritage Heating & Cooling in Franklin, TN. My husband was surprised when he got home from work that the unit was installed and running.

They came out promptly when our unit went out. Josh gave us good advice about what kind of unit needed to be installed . They were very professional and prompt when they came to install. Additionally , Jeff came out personally on a Sat. one week later when it did not seem to be working properly. He sent installers back on Monday and who quickly fixed a attachment that needed to be tightened and problem was fixed at no charge. I would definatly use them again. Very honest work.

Heritage Heating and Cooling was recommended to us by a good friend and that was 7 years ago. We have been loyal customers ever since and have recommended them to everyone we know. Jeff Parks and his employees are the "best." A special thank you to Chris and Caleb for staying late today to get our A/C going for us.

There were some minor problem but overall I am pleased and would recommend David Mills for future jobs.

The entire process went very well. Jeff, the owner, stopped by on Saturday after we noticed the upstairs unit was very load. He assessed the situation and recommended a replacement, which was ordered. Two employees returned on Wednesday and installed the unit. All is well and I will definitely continue to use Heritage in the future.

They promptly responded to a service for a new move-in where the previous owners had neglected the AC units. The service technician was very conscientious and thorough in cleaning the units and adding refrigerant. He also helped with a minor repair to programmable thermostats and replaced two fuses so they would work properly. Due to the nature of the service he was very accommodating on the price. We were so satisfied that we have sign on for the annual maintenance contract with Heritage.

Extreme high heat an humidity in our area in July. Contractors were working around the clock. Technician still had a good attitude.

Installers arrived on morning of installation and started to work immediately. The job took several hours and they were careful not to damage walls etc. and left the work area clean. The only problem I had afterwards was with a drain line in the attic which had to be re-worked. Otherwise the installation was neatly done and the unit has worked well so far.

It went great. They studied our problem to decide what we needed and recommended the work above instead of what we thought we needed, a second a/c unit. It worked perfectly. Owner and all employees are professional and courteous.
