They arrived on time, were friendly, professional did great work. We plan to have them come back in Spring and open up the irrigation and get a quote from them for some landscaping.

It went great! We will be calling them back out in the spring to tune it up again!

scheduling was a problem as they were backed up with work because of rain. they day they were suppose to come 3 men were to come and stay 2:45 minutes starting at 8 - only 2 ended up coming and the owner wasn't there - they only did the front beds and side and said they were suppose to leave at 11 (3) hours but with only 2 men it should have been 4 hours - i had to leave for an appointment at talked to them before I left to make sure they were going to the back yard and called the business back and left a message. they were done with the front when i left but when I came back nothing had been done to the back - when I called they did call back and left a message saying they had done their 8 hours of work. it was frustrating because nobody ever came out to see what needed to be done or discuss it with me until the two people showed up at my house. I have paid to have the beds done many times over the past 10 years - it has never taken 8 hours - even when mulching.

They were suppose to contact me after my Big Deal Purchase, I ended having to contact because I never heard from them. I believe they were pretty good about keeping with the scheduled date/time, but we they did have to reschedule once. Also, when they came out, they ended up breaking off a piece of our irrigation system and just left it. We ended up having someone else come out and fix for us.

Our previous provider, Irrigation Specialists, went out of business. That company installed our system in 2003. When Jose Garcia, Green Scene, inspected our system for the first time, he said that many of his customers were former customers of Irrigation Specialists. Jose kept his appts. in a timely way, and he is very professional. We had chronic problems with the soaker hose in our rear garden bed - with leaks requiring me to patch/plug. I was anticipating replacing the soaker hose again (which would have been a nuisance to work in and around the plantings.) Jose found that the wrong size valve controlled that hose, that the pressure to the soaker hose was too high. Jose replaced that valve, and our leak problems appear to have been resolved. He made some other adjustments/repairs to our system.

They actually did a good job. They were very timely, friendly guys and it was very reasonable price. I didn't have anything, I think it went well.

It started out very well. They were usually on time or early. The crew worked hard without much supervision. The problems began at the end of the installation. We noticed that the owner stopped coming to our house and we had questions and now had some of what should have been minor complaints but the owner was nowhere to be found and did not respond to our emails. We found upon inspection that one of his crew had broken the bottom piece of our siding when installing the monitoring system. We sent the owner an email about this and we received a response that he knew who was the responsible person and that was all. I then started or attempted to start planting flowers in the flower bed. It was almost impossible for me to do. The topsoil that he brought us was NOT TOPSOIL IT WAS ENTIRELY CLAY. It was dirty. It has rocks and pieces of wood and what looked like pieces of shredded green trash bags in it along with chunks of sod with grass attached. I am handicapped and I was almost unable to handle the planting of my flowers. I had my son come over and dig the holes and try to break up the clods for me. We have tried to contact the owner many times by asking his brother (his brother works for him) to tell him I needed to talk to him, by sending him emails, and calling his office and leaving messages with his wife. He has not shown up nor has he answered a single message. He doesn't even know what I want to talk to him about since I never put it in my messages which makes me wonder if he knows why I am calling.

I give green scene an A+ all the way except for one thing. They scheduled to come on Monday (my day off) at 1:00 and they did not show up. I did receive a call from their office and they said they would try to get there by 3:00 but they never did show up. I will give them credit that they did contact me though and we rescheduled for Wednesday at 4:00 and they showed up on time. I just moved in the house in January 2013 and did not know anything about the irrigation system. Jose was very nice and knowledgeable. He not only prepped my irrigation system and got it running but also located and inspected all the sprinkler heads and showed how the system worked, I will definitely call Green Scene again when the late fall arrives and it's time to bleed the irrigation system.

They did a great job overall! They showed up when they said they would, and were able to schedule the work earlier than what I had anticipated. They were very friendly and provided lots of information on lawn care, since I’m a first time home buyer.

Did not go very well and are hard to get a hold to reach by phone.

Project was done on time as per estimate. Very responsive to fine tuning of the system.

We do most of the landscaping ourselves, but they do some of it. Their prices, while not cheap, are very reasonable. They are very professional people. Our overall experience has been very positive. There have been no surprises. The services have always cost what they said they would cost, and they are very prompt. They use good quality plants and fix problems that our previous contractor left. And the problems were fixed properly.
