Throughout the process Glen was very responsive and professional. He stands out among contractors in the Nashville area in every area of service. His work was top quality for a very reasonable price. What I appreciate most about him is that he treats my money as if it were his own; that is, he has consistently recommended things that I could save money on, including answering questions that helped me do some work myself. His crew showed up on time and completed the work in a timely, friendly, and professional manner. There is no aspect of the work that I am not completely satisfied with!

This is the 4th or 5th time we have called Glen to come help us with a problem. He is always easy to deal with, pleasant, and has a great attitude. Over the last couple of years birds have taken to pulling the screens apart and using the pieces for nesting materials. We tried to remove the screens repeatedly and could not get them out. We called Glen, he came out the next day and told us that the wrong screens had been installed in the house. He got one out and took a count of the number of screens we needed replaced. A week later we had great new screens, that fit and are not made of the material the birds like.

This is the third time we have used Glen. I called him late one afternoon and he answered his phone even though he was on a trip with his family. He came over early the next morning and gave us a quote the same day. We called because there was a water spot in the ceiling downstairs which we assumed was from a leaking bathtub upstairs and because there was a crack along one wall at the junction between the wall and the ceiling. Glen gave us an estimate to repair the leak and fix the ceiling, as well as to repair a hole in a wall in another room left by a different contractor, fix some cracks in the retaining wall. When he actually came to do the work he discovered that the leak was not current that the spot came from a previous leak that had been repaired (by my husband). So the repair job was much simpler than he had anticipated and therefore much less expensive than he had quoted. What a nice surprise! A job I had dreaded, anticipating ripping out drywall both in the bathroom and the ceiling downstairs turned into a relatively small paint job. The repair, including waiting overnight for paint to dry took just 2 days. Once again I can't imagine getting better service. Thank you Glen!

Very well. Prompt. On time. No surprises. Different painting group's paint was already peeling off the trim in our living room only a few weeks later. We had a handyman strip the doors, but that was a mess and made the matter worse. Glen's painting crew fixed it all. They also did a great job on the exterior. That was also in bad shape with paint peeling right down to the wood. They worked hard to properly prep the surfaces, spending a lot of time scraping. On the den door, which was deeply scratched by our dogs, they filled in and sanded, with a good cosmetic result. Glen gets an A+ rating.

We found out about Glen from Angie's List, and boy are we glad we did! Glen met with us to discuss our remodeling needs and promptly created a set of drawings that we could review. We worked together to come up with a project that met our needs and our budget. Glen secured the building permits, scheduled the demolition work, and managed the entire job excellently. His crew was great to deal with - they showed up on time, worked hard, and were true craftsmen. We had a few unexpected technical issues pop-up due to the original construction of our house, and Glen and his team were able to resolve every issue that came up. Glen was great to work with - he communicates well, we never had to worry if his workers would show up, and we could count on him to give us good advice throughout the project.

Glen and his team did an excellent job installing hardwood floors in our house. We had carpet - with a subfloor that consisted of particle board over plywood. Glen's team pulled up the particle board, installed a vapor barrier, and nailed down 3/4" prefinished hardwood flooring. They also moved our furniture to accommodate the install, and they installed felt pads on all of our furniture before placing it on the newly installed hardwood floor. They showed up on time every day, did excellent work, and were very good to deal with.

He returned my call punctually and referred me to Brentwood Plumbing, who did a great job.

It went smoothly. Really that is all that I ask from a carpenter. He was professional and undeterred by any 'difficulty' of the task.

Contractor provided estimate and did work within a week. All aspects of work done professionally and to my satisfaction.

I started a very large project just before we were to have our first child and when my deadline came and went, I started looking for contractors to help me finish up. Glenn called me back promptly and though he was too busy to take on the larger part of the job. He walked through, gave me kind advice and recommendations on how to finish up the project best. A few days later, when I needed some crown molding hung, he had one of his guys come by and hang it. The pricing was VERY fair, the person who came out was VERY nice and I will definitely be calling Glenn for my next project. Before the deadline this time. Also, his guy worked around the painters so he didn't get in their way and cleaned up after himself.

He was quite a bit higher than the other two quotes that I'd received. He was very professional. I liked him very much. He was on time. He was very polite. He was very professional.

Everything went as well as can be expected with this kind of renovation. The tub I purchased was a little too big but Glen's crew was able to execute an inexpensive retro fit which saved me quite a bit in additional, unanticipated plumbing expense.

The project was under budget, even when we changed the plans, and within our timeline. The two primary workers, Lowell and Jeremy, were extremely nice. Both went out of their way to ensure that we were happy with the project. They even fixed items that were unrelated to the project such as: fixing a couple of sticking doors and rewiring some light switches that did not work properly. Additionally, we never had to worry about coming and finding building materials and dust all over the house.

Glen's crew was friendly and courteous. They did a thorough job and cleaned up once the job was complete.

From the onset, working with Glen's company couldn't have gone better. I was given a very fair estimate, which matched very closely with the actual charge. They were responsive and prompt, and the work was done quickly and with great attention to detail. I couldn't be happier with how both projects turned out, and I couldn't be happier with the experience of dealing with this company. They were thorough and skilled, and incredibly pleasant to boot. I'll be working with them again as soon as possible and will be sure to update again.

My week was going badly already and when I saw the obvious wet spot on the wall of the garage I knew I was in for a bad run. I consulted with all my friends and no one could recommend anyone so I consulted Angie's List and came up with Glen's name. I called him one time and he answered, I told him my plight and he said he could come over first thing in the morning - just the fact that he answered his phone and was so kind to me meant a lot. He showed up on time and laid my fears of gigantic catastrophe to rest, said that the wall didn't appear to have any major damage, it would dry out and be fine - and that he had a plumber friend who would give me a call shortly - then he left. I don't think he was here 30 minutes. The plumber called 45 minutes later, showed up promptly 30 minutes after that and had the pipe replaced an hour later. I could not have been happier with my treatment by everyone and by the results.

The project went very well. Glen and his crew were always on time and were always very kind and professional. Glen provided helpful suggestions along the way, but was also willing to work with the vision that we had for the space. He is very honest. We never worried about whether they were cutting corners. They made efforts to create as little disruption as possible, which was important because we have a young child in the house. We spoke to four other contractors before hiring Glen. Two of them were very unresponsive after the initial visit. We had a better feeling about Glen than any of them and his pricing was very competitive. His initial estimate for price and time to complete the job was right on.

The job went very well. Glen did a great sketch of the front porch for the carpenter to work from. He was always available for phone calls, and his contractors were on time every day until the job was finished. He would check in on them from time to time and deliver materials so they could keep working. He allowed me (a DIYer when it's convenient) to have a say in everything that they did and the materials they used. In some cases, I would change the design a little on the fly and they handled it without complaint. When the job was finished, Glen provided me with a detailed invoice which also happened to be several hundred dollars under his estimate. And the front porch looks great!

I called three contractors before finding one that would do this work. Glen gave me an estimate and did the work within a week.

We have remodeled several homes in our life-time and dealt with many contractors. We can honestly say that Imperial has been the best. Not only are they skilled and experienced, but they are also responsible, keeping their appointments, returning phone calls, and communicating with the customer. As if that were not enough, their prices are reasonable! We're so pleased with Imperial that we plan to make them our permanent contractor, for they are skilled in every aspect of home building and remodeling. We're only sorry we did not find them sooner.
