Install was completed on time and budget. 6 months later the flooring was buckled on ends and sides. Separating at the seams in several places, enough so that you can lift planks up from the floor. Company has seen floor, seen a forensic engineering report … knows this flooring is falling apart and will not or cannot stand behind their product or installation

They did a terrible job at installing our carpet. We have a seam running down the middle of our room. The sales person, their warranty manager, and the retail manager won’t do the right thing and fix it and I get excuses about it. I would never do business with them again and want to make sure no one else makes the same mistake I did. I wish someone had told me before we used them because when I have brought it up afterwards; I am clearly not the only one.

I don't like giving bad reviews because anyone can have a bad day. In this situation, that is not the case. A few years ago I purchased carpet for my upstairs living space from Carpet Den. The carpet was great, the installation was less than positive. I liked the sales person so I dealt with it. Recently, I had water damage and had to replace part of the carpet. I was told it would be no problem to replace and match. Same sales person. They replaced the carpet and it does not feel the same. I told the store manager. She sent, what I was first told was an independent person, only to find out it was the manufacturer rep for the carpet! We still did not feel it was the same., even though he said it was. We had others look and some real estate agents who said they replaced it with cheap "look alike" builder quality carpet. I called the general manager, as the first manager told me to do. He asked to have a sample of the old and new carpet...it was given. He said the manufacturer would have to be honest in comparing the two. I have called the store, the manager, the store installer and NO ONE will return my calls. They ignore all my calls. They were also told that my husband just suddenly passed away and I don't need this drama on top of everything else. They don't care. The salesman quit the company citing ethical differences...I now get it. They also placed flooring in a neighbors home who had installation problems with them and will never recommend them either. This behavior from a "family" business" who "cares about their reputation", as I was told...this is intolerable. The least they can do is call me back. Now you know why I don't mind writing this horrid review. Maybe they will call now.

Flawless. Store had plenty of samples to choose from, and let us take samples home to view them with our lighting. Got a prompt response when we asked for someone to measure and give us an estimate. We were able to agree on an installation date. The workers called before arriving each day, and were always on time. They were very careful with our furnishings, and they worked hard to keep the construction dust and debris to a minimum. The job was completed earlier than promised, and the result is fantastic. No problems whatsoever, and the installed product is magnificent.

We worked with David Lewis. We wanted the best quality at a fair price. He made recommendations for three different styles, all had warranties with no exclusions. Two men installed the carpet over a day and a half and also moved large furniture pieces. His years of experience in the field made a big difference and gave us a lot of confidence. It looks fabulous from the living areas to stairs and bedroom.

My wife and I purchased a new house and wanted to upgrade from carpet flooring to engineered hardwood in the downstairs (great room, dining room, master BR, hall, and half-bath/powder room). Although we are happy with the final product, our experience along the way was very inconsistent. David, the sales person with whom we worked, as outstanding in the pre-sale and sales process. His advice was right on and we felt well-guided by his product recommendations. Being on a concrete slab, we were not able to get "real" (nail down) hardwoods, so we knew we needed a glue down application: either laminate or engineered hardwoods. And, with a 120+lb. great dane and another small dog and cat, we needed a durable wood. David recommended and engineered hickory that we completed love. That entire process went perfectly. However, after the sale, it became difficult to get in touch with David. Apparently he had a family emergency and was out of touch for some time. When we signed the contract for the flooring, we set the installation date for either Monday or Tuesday, depending on the installers' schedule. After that, we didn't hear back with a confirmation regarding whether the installer would arrive on Mon or Tues. (ostensibly due to the family emergency noted above). So, on Monday, a woman from Carpet Den called and said that the flooring would be installed on Tuesday, and it should only take one day to install. Luckily, I am a teacher and I have a flexible schedule in the summer, so I was able to accommodate either day. It was frustrating though. From that point on, the entire process practically was a full time job for ME! The installers, after several phone calls on Tuesday the day of the installation, FINALLY showed up at 11 a.m. with only two guys. The rest of the crew, apparently, was finishing up another job. Due to the late start, the installation was not completed in one day, so they came back the next day - late again - to finish up. They worked until 9 p.m. to get the job finished, which was further inconvenient because we have a 7 month old baby and my wife needed to get to bed for work the next day. While I wouldn't have had a problem with them working till 9:00 at night in general, the fact that they showed up so late to get started each day (11:00 day one; closer to noon on day two) just made it aggravating. The job was done very sloppily near the end as, presumably, they were hurrying to finish. When I peeled off the masking tape the next day. there were numerous places where the adhesive had oozed up between the boards. This mess was covered up with the masking tape, thus I hadn't seen at night before they left. Frustrating. There are still a few places that need some minor repairs, which the installers said they would do when they came back to fix a piece of moulding that had popped up. However, since then...crickets. Apparently, due to imperfections in the concrete slab, there are a couple of low spots where the wood didn't make contact with the adhesive, creating "soft" spots. The installers said that they could repair them , but they didn't have materials with them at the time to do so. I should call them back the following week to schedule a time. I did so. I never heard back. It is now about six weeks since the installation... Finally, on a positive note, the finish carpenters that installed the new shoe mouldings were absolutely outstanding. I can't praise them enough. Overall, notwithstanding the installers' lack of punctuality and responsiveness, the process went well and we are happy with the look of our new floors (but frustrated by the "soft" spots). All of the issues I had to deal with regarding the installers themselves, however, would make me unlikely to patronize Carpet Den in the future. I basically had to drive the whole process, supervise the installers, and stay on their backs. Again, thankfully I am a teacher, so I had the time over the summer to do this; I wouldn't recommend them if you are not home to keep them on track. Who knows what might have happened?!

The only reason I can give Carpet Den Interiors a D rating is because the actual tile work and carpet is acceptable. I have been lied to by their employees and subcontractors. Both subcontractor crews for the tile install and carpet install damaged my property. The sub that installed tile in the bathroom cracked one of our sinks and tried to lie his way out of it. It was so obvious that his crew had dropped a heavy item in the sink which cracked all the way through. I then had to call the granite company which had installed the vanity to come out and replace the sink. The granite company could not install an exact sink to match the existing one because the sinks are fired in batches and our sinks had been installed for over 1 year. In addition, the pricing from the Carpet Den sales rep kept changing. She could not keep up with this project and ultimately did not include everything I understood to be part of the job. My husband ended up sealing the tile work himself. The carpet installation crew was to move our bedroom furniture which we paid extra for them to do. They ended up dropping our footboard on our hardwood floors outside the bedroom damaging both the furniture and the flooring. They also scraped both bedside tables. We got the furniture fixed to the tune of $160 and I'm following up multiple times to get reimbursed for it. Still no resolution for the scratched hardwood floors. All in all, beware of this company! They do not use reputable subs. They do not return emails. They do not return phone calls. They don't do what they say they are going to do. I had to follow up multiple times to get reciepts and warranty paperwork. I have dealt with multiple employees of Carpet Den throughout both projects and none of them have met my expectations as to how to handle basic issues.

They did a really good job and were very helpful. I was very pleased with them. The service was good. I like the explanation of what I was going to buy. I could take samples home and look at them. The workman that came here got everything done in one day. He arrived around 8 in the morning. They moved all of the furniture. When they said they would be coming, they came. It's good carpet with a good warranty.

During the course of our renovation I had contracted carpet den to install out upstairs carpet. I asked them IN ADVANCE if they wanted us to wait on trim painting until after the carpet was installed- they said no. The carpet install went well, although we had to have them back to re stretch. They damaged every baseboard that we had painted with enamel, we had to have all baseboards repaired with wood putty and repainted, at a cost of more than $500 dollars. They also damaged the stairwell paint carrying the carpet upstairs. Carpet Den refused to accept any responsibility for the damage, they said it was "typical" and got confrontational. Aside from one poorly placed seam, the carpet still looks good, but the install experience is not one I'd ever want to repeat.

The installers were nice and did a pretty good job. The trim carpenter missed some trim and left and I couldn't close a interior door over a vent. Sales person told us to call someone else and turn it into the insurance company. Was not happy with there attitude, service or the information that they gave us.

Carpet Den Interiors was not very clean in tearing out the foyer and left me a mess to clean up. There are a couple of areas where the finish doesn't match up. It looks unfinished. They put metal pieces where the adjoining rooms connect which I'm not sure if I like.

Carpet Den Interiors did a fabulous job on our floors. They look great, and we didn't have any problems with the workers. They were very friendly. Carpet Den Interiors is a great company to work with. I'd recommend them to anybody!
