Mr. Whitson was very prompt with all appointments and professional in all aspects. He completed the job in an appropriate amount of time despite less than optimal weather conditions. He explained all the work and consulted with me on any changes needed. I will definitely call him for other jobs.

He is honest and does not price gauge. He was professional, on time and finished the work on the deck in less time then expected. I would definitely hire him again.

John makes every effort in doing a job right. From the beginning he was very honest in the cost of the job and tried to make sure we were happy with the result. He rebuilt the back deck with new composite material and finished it to look like a new project. He also stained our front porch and made repairs that I requested. I highly recommend him and will use him again in the future.

John Whitson did not use screws to build my deck, he used nails that were too short, the wrong size posts, the rail came loose from house, spindles too far apart, very scary to walk on, which I will not. I need the deck to get out of my garage to go to the back yard. I had carpenters look at it and they told me all I that I have said and that it needed to be rebuilt. I am an older woman and I dont see how anyone can build something like that not caring about a persons life. It eventually will fall if it is left as it is. Now I have to pay more money to get it fixed or rebuilt.

John Whitson is an extremely intelligent, professional, man of his trade. He tore down a deck and rebuilt a much better one. He showed up on time, cleaned up after himself, and kept me informed on the progress of the deck. He is a very hard worker and so kind. I highly recommend him , and will hire him again for future projects.

Comment: John was very professional and did an exceptional job on our deck project replacing deteriorated deck boards, steps, stringers and railing. During the project other issues were discovered with rotten ledger boards, beauty band, etc. and he repaired/replaced those at the same time. We were also replacing all railing with another type and he had great suggestions that turned out beautifully. Some of our structures were not straight or level but John has the experience, knowledge and skills to work with this. I was very pleased with precautions taken to protect our home and surrounding property to prevent damage and that debris was removed every day instead of waiting until end of the job. I'm looking forward to John building a large carport for us next year.

Easy to work with, great attitude, great craftsmanship, best price compared to two others, finished product looks fantastic. John is the man, for real. Our deck was 6' x 38' and in desperate need of replacement as it was borderline dangerous to be on. We now have a 7' x 38' deck made with top craftsmanship, new product and we didn't use 5/4 boards and went with 2x6 for decking boards. Wife and I couldn't be any happier about our experience with John.
