Had no success at first to get someone to take the job as most contractors didn't answer phone or would not return calls. Cifers backhoe was referred to us by a plumber who did respond but later dropped out of the project. Septic tank was wedged in between swimming pool and the house, with a hot tub sitting over it. Moved hot tub to expose septic tank and discovered the tank to be deeper than expected. Rather than hand dig the hook up (under a fence, deck and staircase) Bill called in some associates and it was determined that digging through the workshop floor was a much smarter way to go. Rather than tearing up the decking and fence, we ended up with a dusty workshop. We were able to go down 20 inches for the line rather than 42 inches that the original plan would have needed. End result - on budget with minimal disruption of our property. in addition to being a true professional, Bill Cifers is easy to deal with and a true gentleman. We are very thankful that our paths crossed and totally recommend him for any digging projects you might have. Would definitely use him again for any jobs we have.
