+ -1 moreThe result was far better than expected, this company went above and beyond what they were hired to do, and were done in less than half a day. For removing 8 trees, I was impressed. By the end of the day you could not even tell that they'd been here, everything was cleaned up - better than when they arrived. A very satisfied customer.
Description of Work: Highly professional. The first time they came to work, I had contracted to trim and/or remove several trees. They brought 3 truckloads of equipment and a large staff. In less than 3 hours all the trees were removed, stumps cleared, brush cleaned up, plus they did extras - even removed stumps throughout the yard I had not asked for. Excellent service. One of the things I like best about this company is the "no pressure" attitude, along with the professional advice. He offers ideas to improve what you've got, and if you ask him to trim or top a tree that doesn't need it, he'll tell you. Very knowledgeable about the trees. I called them again recently for another bid. The price was much higher this time for about the same number of trees to be removed, understandable since the price of fuel has gone up. I had another company offer a bid on the same work just to have a cost comparison. While Dickson Tree Surgeon's price was higher, the advice was better, plus they remove stumps while the other company did not. I am having my next work done by Dickson Tree Surgeon based entirely on the level of professionalism and punctuality offered.

+ -1 moreVery well- they were prompt. Owner explained in detail what they would do and did it. Several dead trees cut down- a lot of smaller trees and brush cleared. All were piled in the back out of line of sight. Only complaint is that he really charged a lot - I should have checked more thoroughly.
Description of Work: Forest area cleared of dead trees and brush. Trees and brush put in piles. Had a large team and they handled everything well.

+ -1 moreMost recently, we had a tree that was dead/dying in our front yard and we were afraid it would fall on the house any time with all the recent storms we had been having. So, we called, he came out and looked at it the next day, said "I will cut it down in the next week" (even told us exactly where it would fall) and we could just drop a check in the mail when it was done. Sure enough, after a few days, no more than 3 or 4, the tree was down just like we were told. We would use the Tree Surgeon again, and again. Perfect gentleman and businessman who knows his trade.
Description of Work: This is the second time we have called on the Tree Surgeon to help us out. Both times, we have been completely satisfied.

+ -1 moreMike was great. He came out to give an estimate when he said he would and returned to start lawn maintenance on time. He was always looking out for the property since it was vacant. I felt like Mike was a friend instead of a business and I could trust him while I wasn't there. I would recommend him 10x's over!
Description of Work: I asked for yard maintenance on approximately an acre of land and twice a year bush hog the pastures. When the yard was cut he also weeded around the house and garage which was included in the $50 price. Bush hogging for the other 4acres was about $250.

+ 0 moreGreat work! Cut three tress, hauled off all cut material and another brush pile that was already there. Two of the trees were leaning against an historic old spring house that we planned to restore. We were MORE than pleased with the work. Everything was cleaned up.
Description of Work: Carefully topped and then removed 3 trees so as not to disturb a spring house on the property.
