KENWORTHY HARDWOOD FLOORING

They are a great company. They communicated well, but the most important thing is they do an incredible job. I did hardwood refinishing for 4 years and i was very happy with the finished product. They also sanded and refinished our stairs and banister, which turned out great. I appreciated that Rusty came out and talked to my wife and I and was honest about what he thought would look good and any issues we might want to go another way on. He knew the look we wanted and he steered us in the right direction. They really impressed me. I have been burnt several times on home renovation projects, but Kenworthy did everything I would expect an honest/professional company to do. There were a few things that did not turn out perfect at first, but they made it a priority to fix it and get it right immediately. We had to stay out a few extra days, but it was perfect in the end. I have had so many bad experiences with other companies that get paid and then it gets hard to get them to come fix issues or they never show up again. They stayed on our job until it was 100% complete. There workers were experienced and Damien, Lance, and Rusty did a good job scheduling, communicating, and making sure we were happy. I would recommend them to family or friends and the pricing was very reasonable. Oh... their repair crew was exceptional. I never saw them, but they went above and beyond what i expected. Left no gaps, etc. Our house looks brand new now.

I work a crazy schedule, the company was able to do all of the work through the night. I ended up with amazing floors in my master bedroom, I couldn't be happier from start to finish!!

They were timely in getting quotes and completing the work. The company seems to have extensive knowledge of floors.

Overall we had mixed results. In the kitchen, they did a great job of sanding and refinishing, so we thought. That was until we actually got to walk into the kitchen several days later when the poly dried. The knots in our wood were hollow and the refinisher didn't take the time to fill them. So now we have holes in our floors that crumbs get caught in. Wouldn't it have been nice for them to fill the holes, then sand? . The bedroom turned out to have boards missing from when the previous owners moved a wall and didn't replace boards, thus the carpet. The worker that feathered the boards did a beautiful job. He worked fast and His work was great. Unfortunately, the person that sanded after him caught nails as he sanded and ripped them through the boards, didn't fill the holes (same guy that sanded the kitchen) and now we've got a serious gouge and several minor ones in prominent places in our master bedroom. So, would I use them again? Don't think I can trust them. Would I recommend them? Only if you are willing to be watchful and mindful that they are in a hurry and won't do their best for you unless you stay on top of them. Oh, and the kicker. I asked for a detailed receipt when I handed them the check. Four weeks later, several texts and calls to Rusty, and nothing. I guess they don't stand behind their work either.

We called him to get a quote and he came out that day. It ended up being about $2.10 a foot. We did not get any other quotes because he was so willing to work around our schedule. His team of guys came out and spent about four days in our home and did an excellent job.
