+ 0 moreWe filed the police report, and he was actually arrested two days later while appearing in front of the judge on four other warrants. He was placed in jail with a 10,000 dollar bond. The court date was set for May 7th. He showed up 45 mins late for court. Claimed he hired a lawyer. And the judge reset the court date for May 28, 2008. There are 10 warrants on this man for theft. A few are felony theft charges, including mine. This man has no business running a place in our community. Please do not buy from this man and risk being ripped off like the rest of us have been.
Description of Work: March 18, 2008, we purchased windows and doors from Mr. Floyd at the Mobile Home Parts Store in Dandridge TN, in the amount of $2,279.38. We were told these were special order items. (Later we found out they were not.) He told us the back door and windows would be in the following week. Instead his phone was turned off. He was back open the following week, April 4th. He told us he was getting our stuff, it would be there on Tuesday April 8th. So Wed. April 9th, we called, no answer. Finally on Friday April 11th, we found him at the store. He said the girl working there was to call us, tell us he was going Monday, April 14th. She never called us. So on Monday, we called and she told us he went to do his taxes, so wasn't getting our stuff. We filed a police report on this day. This is the short version of what happened. But I feel that people should know this place is ripping people off. We also found out, the prices he gave us were made up prices, and he knew he was taking our money. He did this on purpose with intent to steal from us.
