Description of Work: Remove old roof repair decking and apply new GAF warranty 3D roof.

Description of Work: I bought a home that had a roof installed by Turner Roofing 12 years ago. The roof was a specialty type material that - according to Turner Roofing themselves - should have never been installed on such a low-pitch roof or on a house that is situated beneath trees. When we bought this old home, we knew there were a couple of issues but nothing major showed up on the inspection report. WE do not live in the home yet as it needs repairs and remodeling. Two months later, we find out that the roof is completely failing, partly due to the negligence of the previous owners to properly maintain it and partly due to improper installation and the fact that it should never been put on this kind of house to begin with. I called Turner Roofing, explained that we were the new owners of this home and needed them to come out ASAP as it had places where water was coming into the house. They said they would get out there to inspect it in a couple of days. They didn't. I never heard from them again. When I called back, they took a message. After that, they pretended that the person I spoke to - one of the manager's - didn't even exist and that I must have mistakenly called some other company - that they didn't know what I was talking about. I called a general contractor to help out and he got the same kind of story and run-around. Finally, the owner of Turner Roofing, Jack Turner, showed up. He was unbeleavably rude, never even introduced himself, never spoke to me direclty, and would only address the contractor. If I started to ask a question or talk, he'd interrupt and talk over me until I stopped talking. He said he wanted to send out a couple of his guys to take a better look and would get back to me. He never did. Instead, two of his guys show up shortly before 7am the next morning - unannounced and uinscheduled - banging very h****** the front door. I was sound asleep and it scared me to death. When I didn't answer quickly enough, they proceeded to get their ladders and start taking the roof apart. I quickly threw on some clothes, got the dogs under control, and went outside. I called up to them and they stopped, looked down at me, didn't say a word, and then went back to work. Not a word, not a greeting, not an explanation. Nothing. I knew they were from Turner Roofing though because of the logo on the side of the truck parked in my driveway. After a point, I told them to stop taking my roof apart as they had NOT been hired for this work. Jack Turner then showed up and, well, it was like talking to a politician. Couldn't get a straight answer out of him. He was going to send me quotes for a new roof, but never did. And most importantly, they would claim NO RESPONSIBILITY and would not stand behind their roof. They put Ice Shield over the area they'd torn apart and left. I've not heard from them since.
