 + -1 moreIt was great. The person who came out to check our house was incredibly courteous and gave us a lot of great information. They sprayed the inside and outside of the house on the first and second visit and then just the outside since. We have really noticed a drop in the number of bugs around. With the annual plan they come spray once every 3 months, but if you notice bugs or anything 2 weeks after they have sprayed they will come spray again for no extra charge. It's really a great service. The cost was $75 every 3 months and is totally worth it.
Description of Work: We were starting to have an ant problem and just general pests around the house. We called Midstate and decide to subscribe to their yearly plan.

 + -1 moreBeen a customer for 3+ years. Always punctual, courteous, and pleasant. Routine spray every 3 months, but they will come back at any time between intervals if there is any sign of spiders, etc. The extra visits have always been free of charge.

Description of Work: Steamed everything.Sprayed all that could be. Glue stripes. Will be back in two weeks. Professionaly, friendly, patient and answered all of our questions. AWESOME. CALEB, AND I HATE TO SAY I DONT REMEMBER THE OTHER GENTLMENS NAME, BUT HE WAS VERY RESPECTFUL AND NICE. They were very understanding. The office staff were friendly and answered questions and were very prompt in getting back to us. I had inspections by two other places from Crossville and Jamestown. They found nothing and, looked at the two bed bugs I found and said I was paranoid. They looked exactly what I saw online. Caleb identified them righ away out of all I showed him with no prompting. Mid-State is GREAT! :-) :-)

Description of Work: As the weather got warm this spring, we noticed that we had a lot of black ants. We called Midwest Termite and Pest Control to take a look at the situation. They arrived promptly on the scheduled day and time. They were very knowledeable and explained clearly what they could do to eliminate the ants and provide us with ongoing protection against ants, termites and other pests. They came out the next day and installed termite bait around the house and sprayed for ants. They have called several times to make sure that there are no problems, and are scheduled to do an on-site followup this week. We are very happy with their service and would not hesitate to recommend them.

Description of Work: Our cats brought fleas into the house. We treated the cats to get rid of their fleas. Midstate Termite & Pest Control treated our house for the flea infestation. They came in and in less than 1 hour treated the entire house. We had to leave the house for about 4 hours when they applied the treatment to allow the chemicals to dry. It took two treatments about 2 weeks apart. We also had to leave the house for about 4 hours after the second treatment. They also sprayed around the outside of the house to get rid of spiders and other pests. They charged $150.00 for the two treatments. We no longer have fleas in our house. And our cats are free of fleas and very happy. We would recommend them to others. Very happy with the professionalism and results of this organization.

He arrived at the time agreed upon, and I especially liked the email I received the day before the appointment that confirmed my time, as well as giving me a photo of the technician who would be coming to my house. Jim was thorough, and explained the full extent of the services that will be provided in the coming year. I will recommend them to anyone looking for a professional pest control service at a reasonable price.

 + -1 moreNot so many details. They were very friendly on the telephone and the technician arrived exactly on time. He made me feel quite confident that they know there business. Time will tell how effective the service is. Because it involved entry by the pests, we determined where they might be entering and I was able to seal that area. I am quite hopeful at this time. Check with me every once in a while and I'll let you know how things are going.
Description of Work: Checked inside and outside of property, did a clean out and set bait traps outside. This will be an ongoing service since it is pest control.

 + -1 moreMr. Hill did a very thorough job. Took his time to do it right. Price was not the lowest, but the total package was the best for the money. They came highly recommended to me and I'd recommend them to everyone else.
Description of Work: Saturated the ground, walls and ceiling of crawl space with termite killing chemical. Drilled holes in the outside foundation walls and in the cement floor around the garage and filled with chemical. Complete house protection. Also, installed a termite monitoring system.

 + -1 moreTechnician arrived as scheduled. Initial visit, he sprayed inside and out. I contracted with them to spray on a regular basis. They always call ahead and let me know when they plan to come and be sure the day/time are agreeable. I have not seen any bugs inside since they began treatments and they have been able to keep wasps from nesting under the eaves and on the side of the house. I have allergies to stinging insects, so now I am more comfortable outside my home as well as inside. Carpenter bees were wreaking havoc to the wood on my porch prior to spraying. There were a lot of those pests buzzing about. Now there are none. These insects cause a lot of damage and I am glad to e rid of them. Very professional company, I am pleased to recommend.

 + -1 moreEach visit will be either an inside or outside pest control servicing. MidState alternates the service each time they come out. If you need to have them change and maybe do your inside of the house instead of outside and visa versa they do it with no hesitation. They always put your immediate needs first. The servicemen are always friendly and professional.
Description of Work: We have been using MidState for over 10 years now. We pay a $300 yearly fee (they offer various package prices for their service) and have been extremely satisfied. The servicemen have always been professional in the work they provide. If we need service in between service calls, we know that they will respond quickly. We have not had any pest problems since using them.

 + -1 moreHad a flea infestation this summer. Tried calling the "big names" - noone bothered to get back to us. Called MidState - they promptly got back to us and came out in two days. They sprayed once - came back in two weeks and sprayed again - they said they were guaranteed for several months and would come back out again if needed. They were very prompt, courteous and professional. I definitely recommend them and will continue to use these folks for any future needs.
