 + -1 moreInnovative Restorations gave us several estimates on our home remodeling projects. We accepted two: One to replace our old bathtub with a walk in shower. They did a timely and excellent job. The second project was a complete rebuild of out attached two stall garage into two bedrooms and a large living room. They did a great job! We love it. Chris and Kevin were the workers and I would highly recomnend both them and the company.
Description of Work: 1. Replace old bathroon tub with walk in shower. Replace bathroom flooring with tile. 2. Completely renovate our two stall garage in to a new living space. Two Bedrooms, large living room and new hallway/clothes washing area. 3. Move washer and dryer from basement into newly renovated garge/living area.

The Installers Whitt and Jamey were great all work was done as if it was their own home, communication on time clean up Great job. I would re-hire in a heart beat

Initial response was prompt and punctual, which was greatly appreciated. Floor and walls were pressure-washed and sprayed with disinfectant that eliminated the odor. We did find a few spots on the walls that were missed. Owner came by two days later at our request and agreed additional cleaning was needed. Another technician came the following morning to complete spot cleaning and disinfection (including behind a moisture barrier that was not removed the first day) to our satisfaction.
Description of Work: Cleaning and disinfecting of basement closet walls and floor after a raw sewage spill (caused by a third party).

 + 0 moreI was very sick at the time and we feel Josiah with innovative restorations took advantage of my wife and our situation. I have made a full recovery thank God. We recently found out about the underhanded nature of Josiah going against his word on final settlement when we went to refinance our house. His actions were deceitful. We would never use him or reccommend him to anyone. I have been able to return to work and will pay lien in full as an offering up to God in thanks for a full recovery from my cancer.
Description of Work: Last July I was sick with with cancer and we had a roof leak causing damage to one of our closets and my wife had to handle the the restoration of the closet and have the roof fixed. During the project the estimate was for $2000 for repairs including roof repair. Josiah with innovative restorations was not able to repair the roof cosmetically to our satisfaction and we had to hire a separate contractor. Feeling insecure, my wife consulted our insurance company, as to fix the roof cosmetically was going to be much more expensive. When the insurance company came out to review the project Josiah, from innovative restorations quadrupled his bill to the insurance company. The insurance company refused coverage leaving us to foot the expense. We negotiated with Josiah a final payment of an additional 3000 for his work to bring his total to over 5000 for a 2000 job. He then took our check refused to cash it and proceeded to file a lien on our house for an additional $4500 going against his settlement agreement. He took advantage of my wife and my illness. I ended up having to have major surgery in Houston, Tx. I have made a full recovery since then and wanted to share my experience with Innovative Restorations and their dishonesty. I would never use this contractor again. The total cost came to over $15,000.00. from an initial $2000 bid.

 + -1 moreThis company was prompt, knowledgeable and professional. We were kept informed through every step of this process. They were also prompt about getting the required information to our insurance company. We hope we never need their clean-up services again, but wouldn't hesitate to use them if we did.
Description of Work: Innovative Restorations removed the kitchen floor that had been water damaged by a malfunctioning dishwasher, they installed equipment to dry the subfloor, made sure there wasn't any damage in the crawl space, then installed new flooring in the kitchen, breakfast area and laundry room.

They took care of furniture and other things int he house and also left some blowers in the home to dry everything. Very prompt and very courteous. Great follow up.

Description of Work: We had a pipe break in our house while at work. I came home from work, opened the front door, and water was about 2" high all over with a waterfall coming from the pantry where pipe had broke. I called Innovative Restorations & they were at the house within an hour to start drying & cleaning us up. The technicians were so knowledgeable, professional and courteous we felt comfortable enough to allow them access to the home the next few days while we were at work. They really amazed us at how well they did & the "innovative" approach to drying we didn't even know existed! I mean who knew you could dry hardwood & drywall? Amazing service by a great company.... Our adjuster & insurance agent trusted the company's estimate through previous experience and issued payment to the company within a few weeks! If you are need of emergency services they are the go to company to call!

 + -1 moreIt went fabulously. The workers arrived exactly on time (two-man job to remove door and get it into truck). They took the door away. The carpenter was very neat and went the extra mile for us by spackling the nail holes in the new interior framing (part of the job that we were supposed to do before painting). It happened so quickly that it was almost like magic to us after living with that awkward and unattractive door setup for over three years. The invoiced price was exactly what the estimated price had been.
Description of Work: We moved into our 1976 ranch house in 2009. The prior owners added a sun room off the kitchen in 1999 or so. They left the exterior metal door (two panel, framed glass, one side fixed) so they could shut off the sun room (which we later learned was used as a hot tub room, not a "real" living area). Despite the open look due to the glass, the setup was awkward and cramped due to the limitations of the 36" door opening. The metal outdoor-type threshold was ugly Josiah Kessie's crew removed the double door, installed an oak threshold, re-framed the opening, and were finished in 1.5 days. The transformation was amazing with the new six-foot-wide opening into our TV room. We completed the job ourselves by painting and sealing (the threshold) over the next two days.
