Creative Compassion is a "non profit" organization that received a government grant to build my home. I started the process for my home over 2 years ago. It was completed in June of this year. The home was to be handicap accessible. They build the home on land that was denied "Perk" for sewer several times by previous owners, yet somehow passed when this organization applied to have the home site perked for septic. The home is built on what is actually an underground spring. The wheelchair ramp was built over and covering my septic plug/drain. My door that is accessible from the ramp was hung backwards so that if you are in a wheelchair you will fall off the ramp and down the stairs if you try to open the door. I have no grab bars for my tub, which is a standard tub that would not be able to accommodate a shower chair. The home turns out not to be very handicap "friendly". There is standing water under my home that has my foundation in parts wet all the time. I have mold growing already on the floor joist. Alot of problems and unfriendly response from the organization when addressing the issues.
