+ -1 moreThe tech was very personable and efficient. He could have told us that the compressor had gone bad and sold us a very expensive repair job. He was honest and I would have no qualms utilizing his services again.
Description of Work: Our refrigerator quit working and the tech determined it was merely a relay switch that had gone bad.

+ -1 moreJust a call and he really wasnt interested to help. Said he couldn't help if te noise wasnt doing it when he arrived but woudl charge a service call anyway. Understandable and I agreed but he didnt seem to interested so I said ok and hung up.

+ -1 moreTHE REPAIRMAN NEVER SHOWED UP, EVEN AFTER SEVERAL CALLS. ONE EXCUSE I GOT WAS THAT THE SON WAS AT THE CHIROPRACTOR. IT IS NOW 8/1/2011 AND MY WASHING MACHINE HAS STILL NOT BEEN REPAIRED BY THE APPLIANCE REPAIR SERVICE, FORTUNATELY MY SON-IN-LAW, WHO WAS IN THE CONSTRUCTION TRADE AND IS AN ELECTRICIAN, CAME TO THE RESCUE AND PUT I SMALL NAIL IN A SMALL HOLE WHERE A SMALL PLASTIC PIN BROKE OFF. I HAVE GIVEN UP ON BURGESS APPLIANCE REPAIR IN CROSSVILLE, TN.
Description of Work: HE TYPE WASHING MACHINE WOULD NOT TURN ON. TECHNICIAN CAME OUT AND DIAGNOSED BROKEN DOOR LOCK MECHANISM. TECHNICIAN RETURNED AFTER ORDERED PART CAME IN (SEVERAL DAYS) AND INSTALLED WITHIN 15 MINUTES. BILL OF $181.09 PAID AND TECHNICIAN LEFT. 28 DAYS LATER THE WASHER STOPPED WORKING AGAIN. I PHONE THE SAME REPAIR SERVICE AND EXPLAINED THE PROBLEM AND HE WAS SURE IT WAS THE DOOR LOCK AGAIN AS HE SAID IT WAS MADE OF CHEAP PLASTIC. I STATED THAT THIS SHOULD BE UNDER WARRANTY AND FREE AS 30 DAYS HAD NOT LAPSED. HE SAID THAT HIS SON, THE ACTUAL REPAIR MAN WOULD BE BACK OUT TO REPAIR THE MACHINE.
