I had used a plumbing company by the same name a couple of years ago and they had done a good job at a fair price so I called them again had a sewer gas smell in bathroom in basement of rental house. I thought I had scheduled it on a wed morning to come and when they did not come I called and they said had me down for thursday which could have been my error. They suppose to come 8 am thursday and they come about 830 so no big deal a little late. I had them to take a whiff of bathroom see if they thought it was sewer gas and they thought it could be but all the shower trap had water in it and I had pulled out the sink and taped up the drain and commode had water in bowl so no obvious sign where the gas could get in at. They said they could check to see how much a smoke test would cost but did not have the stuff to do it but could schedule it later. I had them rehook up sink I had taken out had all the parts there, and had them put some washers in a bathtub faucet. The supplies was 2 washers. I had not ask for a quote of how much it would cost I knew have to pay the service charge fee and some extra. They were there about an hour and had to call the owner or boss for the price. I was almost floored when they told me 380 dollars I told them that was ridiculous and I would not use them anymore. Of course it wasent those guys price they had called someone else for the price. They said the smoke test for the septic system was 1200 dollars where they drop a smoke bomb down the vent and tape them up and I said no to that. I didn't check the work and afterwards I noticed the cold water would not come on the faucet they had fixed. I called back and told me a piece of rust had probably flaked off my pipes said they could come out next day to check it. I told the guy to forget about it I would fix it myself. I told him the price was ridiculous and that I was going to review them on the internet which I have. No I would not use them and if you do I would make sure I got a quote to start with.
